Is there a better plugin than the default that alerts you of an incoming call and displays the caller id?
I find it to be a bit small and would like one that displays it larger.

anyone can help me ?? i am using photo contacts pro to manage my callers.......so when i get a call, can i configure just the " hardware buttons" can accept or reject calls?? cause the screen can be accidentally tap to accept/reject calls...............so how to lock the screen??

there are application for screen lock when getting/making a call.
google it, you will find several.
the one i preffered was: PalmarySoft Phone ScreenLock v1.7

You can edit the skin that you are using and take out the green / red buttons so the screen has no option to answer the call.

Just noticed photocontacts takes 4% CPU power. And the SMS feature doesnt seem to work. But i wans thoose highres caller pictures...

My Jade displays incoming calls from inland in form (0xx)XXXX-XXXX. I keep my contacts in Outlook in the international form e.g. +420 XXXXXXXXXX. In such case Jade doesn´t display a name of incoming call and to get it I have to modify contacts to "Jade" type of number. Is there a tweak to change the predefined "Jade" number into international one?

I am using the HTC S730 and the Default HTC Home Plugin and like to know if there's a plugin out there that can display/show the whole sms/text message or at least part of it in Home Screen when it arrives? Thanks.
Update your phone to WM6.1, that shows a part of the text message without leaving the homescreen.
or you may try to install Manila2D (ported from ppc with all its issues and problems)
but in the messaging tab you could read the full sms text body (sliding from the newer to the older, with the limit of the last 99 sms received)
imho m2d for smartphnes is really fancy and stylish but with a lot of bugs

you are right SMSBubbles make the incoming sms view like on the ppc (with a popup on the bottom of the display with the text message)

Yes, use for example the S2U2 (Slide 2 Unlock), it will provide a bigger screen for incoming calls with a fullscreen picture.

But only for certain things.
What it also does is it makes the contact pic's so large, that when you recieve an MMS message from a contact, the notification bubble will be half cut off.
I'm still looking for a solution for this.
Anyone tried this app ( full screen caller ID )? I'm wondering because it doesn't override the default, it just sits on top of it, and I have to "answer" twice before the call is connected.
Anyone have a solution to this? I'm asking because sometimes I have buttons to answer, and sometimes a slider in default answering mode.
