Does anyone know where I can get the Official HTC startup animation and sound? I currently have the at&t tilt and wanna change the 3g startup sound and 3g animation.

i too would also like this... perhaps someone could extract it from an htc rom?
My TyTN II has the attached animated gif. It doesn't however play a sound when booting. I guess that's a AT&T thing..

i have the 8125 with the Eten Dialer w smart dial, i have ready as well as experienced the Pictures & video issue. basically the pictures and video comes up but there are no thumbnails visible, this is becoming a huge PITA. can somebody please address this Pauly A?? someone? any help, suggestions are greatly appreciated

I discovered the same problem today after a hard reset of my 8125 and then installing my apps one by one until I found what was causing it. I've had zero luck finding a solution for this. Shame too because the dialer with smart dial was awesome.
I had the same problem. Renaming the mfc80u.dll file in the Windows folder to mfc80uu.dll solved the problem! I hope it works for you as well!
i had the same prblem too. but now i use the eten vista dialer. that that eten dialer with smartdial is a piece of ****. i hate smart dial. its worthless to me. :lol: . but anyways i use the vista one without the smart dial and it works perfect. no problems at all

Have you tried renaming the mfc80u.dll file in Windows directory? :?

I've tried using Total Commander to change the name (the name showing for my .dll is MFC80U.DLL_ , so I don't know if the underscore at the end of the name is an issue or not) but I can't seem to get the name change to stick. Any pointers on getting the name change to save?
Thumbnail problem
I had both files: mfc80u.dll and MFC80u.dll_.
The one with the underscore will not change but I changed the other and after a soft reset the thumbnails work.

I just installed risidoro's 2.26 rom which has the Eten Dialer skin, does this support video? If so how do i add videos to contacts? with the contacts manager on the phone or outlook on my pc?

i downloaded the PHOTO ALBUM file & installed on my Eten Glofiish M700
it installed successfully & shows icon in program list
but when i click th icon nothing happens .. no albubm program starts???
does it work on other devices with WM6 or only HTC??
any tricks to make it work on mine?
i did install on main memory

HTC Album is great! Very very nice, but it's still very basic and lacks some functions such as folder selection, GIF/PNG support, file info, ... but one may argue that it's simplicity is the best thing about it.
Personally, I thank God for iPhone. It was a great motive that made Windows Mobile developers work a little bit harder
hey guys, anyone know how you can get .gif image files to animate in this or any HTC album version? i know its possible, but not sure how to go about doing it. I downloading hyperdragons iv iolite rom yesterday and this pictures i opened on my phone (as a test) opened in album just fine. I reverted back to NATFs swan song rom...and then upgraded to this version of album...but no animation. anyone know if i need something else?

Try using this .CAB. It should be universal for most HTC-based WinMo 6 devices, as it works on my Xperia.

The only way we could get this to work on a Topaz or a Rhodium is for Rogers to release one of the devices. Name display worked on the Diamond, Raphael and Xperia because Rogers released a Rogers-branded Diamond, and the rilphone.dll from the stock Rogers ROM was used to get CNAP to work in all Diamond, Raphael and Xperia ROM's. However, the despite having most of the same hardware (processor, memory, etc.) specs, the Rhodium and the Topaz are different and that's why the rilphone.dll from the Rogers Diamond ROM won't work in them.

I am running LEO CELL EVO 4 Rom on my Tilt2. SO i gave the Rogers Name Display cab link above (under scar45 post) worked on my Tilt 2. Well not 100%. It works flawlessly with WM Phone dialer skin. However with HTC Sense Phone skin, during the incoming call it only shows the number however as soon as you answer it, the name shows up. it also shows up under the call logs. SO i am guessing for the HTC Phone dialer it must have something to do with the resolution of the phone canvas? any ideas anyone?

Well, I did the same thing you did, and I get the same results. Strange that the name is displayed in Sense only after you answer the call...
Hopefully someone will be able to figure it out.

So far no one has gotten it to work properly using an HTC dialer. If you don't mind using the WM dialer, then it works just fine.

I installed the HTC Homeplugin v2.1..well either one...and there are displays problems with it on my AT&T HTC Fuze. When I activate it you cant see it all on the main screen. Its cutoff and you can only partially see it.
Has anyone had problems with this and know how to fix this? I like this compared to the TouchFlo 3D and would like to have it working right.
Hope someone can help me out.

I think you need the VGA version which I believe ends up very tiny on your today screen. Try searching for that.. if you need help, PM me and I'll look thru what I have.
