Top 10 Sotware for Kaiser - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Themes and Apps

Hey guys,
I am getting my Kaiser on friday. So i am prepping all cabs, tweaks, themes, tomom to immideatelly load on it -=).
However, this is my first PDA and i am curious what you guys consider (mutually) as being the top applications. I dont care if i have to pay for them
My current ideas:
Keyboard: http://cootek.com/
Player : Pocket Player for Pocket PC http://store.conduits.com/pocpcsof.html
Will it run youtube and other related sites?
Should i go with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=337469 instead
Windows Tools: SPB
Theme(Desktop) : WisBar Advance Desktop 3.
http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10348&highlight=blue
What IM messager should i get ( i dont want to pay per/message)
What is the ideal internet browser?
Any other suggestions/recomendations.. are Greatly appreciated

I like Agile messenger the best but that is just my preference. I think it really depends on what IM account are you usiing, yahoo, msn, aol, etc.
For internet browser I would use Opera Mini until Opera 9.0 comes out then I have a feeling it is going to be the best. IE actually does a lot better than it did in WM5, you can get add on that allows multiple browser windows in IE.

Agile Messenger is nice, but slowed my Tilt down to a crawl. I put Palringo on and absolutely love it. I also enjoy the Java-based Opera Mini - it just looks nicer than Opera 8.65. Here's hoping they come out with a browser like the iPhone - I sure do miss their Safari browser and the simplicity of it all.

thats what Opera 9.0 will be like from reading the reviews, similar to safari on iPhone

Yes, me too. I wonder if it will be as worthwhile though with the smaller screen.

Go with TCPMP and flash bundle for Youtube.
PocketCM Keyboard and PocketCM from here it is a cool contacts and threded SMS app.
For file management and reg editting and browsing shares on a LAN I use Total Commander version 2.5beta3.
For web browsing try OperaMini4 beta2 it blows PIE out of the water.
For IM I use Windows live for Windows Mobile from the cab in the stickied thread. This version lets you choose if you want to merge Live/MSN contacts with your Outlook default contacts.
MS Voice Command should be on every device as standard but it is $$$ only unless you look in the darker corners of the web.

I work in a corporate environment.
I absolutely install TodayAgenda on every ROM.
http://tiews.info/index.php?show=software/todayagenda
HTC Home is a must now as well
MS VoiceCommand 1.6
Those are the main programs I must have.

My list:
MS Voice Command 1.6
Resco Explorer
DinarSoft MemMaid
Pocket Mechanic
PHM Pocket PC Power Toys
PocketRAR
vxUtil
vxIPConfig
VisualGPS or Holux GPSViewer
Nav software (I use Route 66)

My list:
MS Voice Command (thought I'd change to Voice Signal in a heartbeat if I could)
SPB Pocket Plus (new version's even better)
SPB Mobile Shell
SPB Phone Suite
SPB Backup
Route 66
AvantGo Client
Opera Mini
vxUtil
PocketCM Keyboard
I'd throw Google Maps in there, but that'd be 11.
Edit - how in the heck I left AgendaOne off the list is beyond me. But that'd bump vxUtil off the list for me.

4. Pocket Informant (PIM, I use for Agenda management)
5. iLauncher
6. Pocket Breeze
7. Opera
8. SmartRSS
9. TCPMP+Flash Bundle

Can you post phonepadvibrate here? I used it on my Hermes, but that file can for some reason not be installed on my Kaiser. Thanks in advance.
BTW I found the vibrate on my Hermes lagging and slow sometimes, resulting in multiple keypresses due to my impatience. Is it faster on the Kaiser?
edit: Can iLauncher work with SPB Diary and SPB Weather, integrating them into one tab, like PocketPlus does? Does iLauncher support multiple rows of icons? In PocketPlus, it all has to fit in one row, making it impossible to use large icons on my 11 tabs (yes, I know, I am a bit anal) and the little icons are hard to hit with my thumb.
My list:
1. TomTom Navigator
2. PHM regedit
3. Total Commander
4. GPSViewer
5. Spb PocketPLus
6. SPB Weather
7. SPB Diary
8. SPB ToPlay
9. KaiserTweak
10. TCPMP

1-Opera Mini
2-Kaiser Notifications
3- PocketCM Keyboard
4- Google Maps
5- HTC Home customizer
Soon to add SPB Mobile Shell / Phone Suite/ PLus / Diary

TomTom 6
Google Maps
Memory Map 5
Live Search
Today Agenda
Windows Live 10.6.33.0600 (thank you)
Flash Video Bundle
TCPMP
MH Conversions
GPS Dash - removed - can't get it to talk to internal GPS
Also got Opera Mini 4 beta

What is this " BluOrb MobileOS (WAD Skin) BETA" ??

Talking about must-haves for the Blue Angel on the hardware side, I've got a Krusell leather case which is more convinient to use than the supplied one. It's a flip open one, like the one supplied with the XDA 2i. I've got a Brando screen protector, and got one spare too, to protect the screen. Further, I bought a sync + charge cable from sfplanet.com, which I can carry to office etc., rather than the cradle which I keep docked to my home PC.
Must haves
I like PocketNav. Free, smaller, faster than other Today screen "closer" programs.

J
Instant Messaging Program
Do y'all know if anything in particular conflicts with Agile Messenger on a Blue Angel? I have an O2 version, with the active stuff turned off, and Agile Messenger keeps crashing it!!!
If it is Agile Messenger and not the cause of some other program, could you please suggest another multi-IM client?
Thanks!

List of Applications

I just wanted to compile a list of application you guys must have on your PDA?
I've done tweeking my rom and now looking for some solid applications to add to the phone..
List all applications you install once after a hard reset!
-Tomtom Navigator
Heh, just downloaded Dutty's Hybrid ROM with the full intention of flashing it (as I'm still using Schaps' 4.31). Then sat down and listed all the soft I have installed... and cried bloody tears.
So much stuff to reinstall, re-register, restore saves/bookmarks to! Yes, I know of UC, Sashimi, and stuff, but still... that's an awful lot.
K, here goes for anyone interested (in order of original installation/upgrade):
SKKV SK Tools
Mortscript
Weather Panel (+ Hourly Fix)
TaskManager ITA Big Buttons
S2U2
Finger-Friendly Friends
Ultimate Launch
HTC Home Customizer
RC Mod
Pocket Informant 8
Cyberon Voice Dialer
Batti
Mobipocket Reader
SPB Diary, Traveler, Finance, Wallet, Time
Resco Explorer, Audio Recorder, Photo Viewer, Radio
FDC Softkey Applet
VGAKEY keyboard
SRS_WOW_HD
Green Skin for Audio Manager
and about 20 games, mostly puzzle and RPG.
And, of course, iGo My Way 2006 Plus and AutoMapa, both navigation software.
To answer your original question: most of these are a must for me. Sorry, cannot be more specific.

That'd be very kind of you, thanks
Indeed the software-Wiki could use some updating, as, for example, it lists only a few of Resco and SPB progs, and relatively old ones at that.
SPB Traveler, for instance, (mostly) duplicates the functionalities of SPB Weather and Time while adding quite a few of its own.
SPB Wallet (and its many brothers, like eWallet, SplashID, or CodeWallet) is another killer app, as it saves the hassle of remembering oodles of passwords, codes, keys, combinations, sizes, URLs, account numbers... you name it.

The top 5 things you have installed on your X1

What is your top five apps/panels/tweeks/whatever (free or not free) you have installed on your X1 and why?
I need some ideas but there are so many on this forum so this might be really helpful for us new ones.
Freecaddie: great golf GPS programme, no need to spend hundreds on a dedicated device and like the name suggests it's free!
hTorch: I use the LED more as a torch than I do the camera
Microsoft Voice commander: I mount the phone on my car's dashboard, way easier to call someone using voice commands
Mobileread: I read A LOT of books on my X1
Resco Audio recorder: Again I like to use it for taking quick notes as well as using it as an audio book player (It can bookmark an MP3)
--------------------------
1-calc: Free calculator loooads of options
g-watch: Free stopwatch
Coreplayer: For when I haven't used Super to convert movies to MP4
Google Maps:
TomTom 7
Comic reader Mobile: free .cbr comic viewer
FingerKeyboard 2: Great stylus free keyboard for when your in a hurry
Microsuck Myphone:Just in case SPBBackup get's lost etc.
SPB Backup: For my frequent ROM flashing excursions
SmartPhoneTracker: For those 'oh crap i've lost/had stolen my phone' moments
TimeSyncTZ
Wizcode pocket alarm
AEbutton plus
WIMP (Where is my Phone?) - hidden program that sends gps coordinates of the phone to another phone.
TomTom 7 - GPS
Run.GPS Trainer UV - uses gps to track training, links with heart rate monitor, exports to pc.
SPB Mobile Shell - Still prefer this panel to any others I have tried
SPB Weather 2 - Customised weather sources
1. AEbutton plus: gotta be able to map buttons the way you like 'em
2. G-profile: amazing program to manage various scenarios relating to power consumption, connectivity, ringer volume. A must-have!
3. Finger menu 1.10: awesome for finger users
4. X1 SoftTouch: makes the screen very touch responsive; improved the overall experience for me
5. TouchResponse: very nice vibration feedback if you are a finger user
5. SPB Mobile Shell, newer version: very smooth; good software
6. MyCalculator: great little scientific calculator
7. SKTools: nice for tweaking and managing files etc
8. Shap's Advanced Config: nice for tweaking
looks like I can't count to five, but had to put them all down.
1. Voice Command
2. SPB mobile shell panel - for weather mostly.
3. TomTom
4. Mini Opera - loads much faster than the Opera 9.5 that the phone comes with.
5. Fring - AIM/MSN/YAHOO/etc etc combined + VOIP.
6. Youtube

Only Today utilities listed here:
1) cLaunch (v1.203 for VGA) - very able tabbed icon menu
2) TodayWarrior - 1-line instant icon access to most-used settings
3) Quicklinks - able 1-line rolling icon menu from Eten
4) rlToday - instant access to times of various chosen cities, made attractive by adding country flag icons
5) traylaunch - extracted from PHM Tools, allows instant access tray icons for constantly used utilities (like daily currency equivalents)
All of these are freeware, and together with Datex (freeware), RhinoPro Stats graph (cheap enough) and backup plugins, make up a very practical (for me, anyway) Today screen. Chosen theme is Windows Mobile 6.1.tsk as I think the green background is the least stressful when constantly using the device (can't bear the "rage for black")
1. S2U2:
Nice, useful and extends the battery lifetime
2. SpaceTime 3.0:
Scientific graphical calculator. Like a TI 92 for the pocket.
3. S2P:
