I have reverted back to the stock ROM, but it does not include the audio player in the home plugin, how do I (reg edit) activate this ?
Thanks in Advance
You can use KaiserTweak for this. Or HTC Home Customiser, whichever works fine it seems.
Thank you, fixed.

Hi everyone,
Having trouble trying to change the default music player from Manilla 2D from audio manager to windows media. Currently using Hyperdragon III rom. tried searching the hyper dragon site, general rom development, google, etc and cant seem to find it.
Im sure its a really simple config item somewhere in the registry?
tried Manila 2D Customizer...still no luck
i second his problem, i want to do the same
And question here is. What is that change supposed to accomplish?
You might be able to change the player by editing the xml file. But with Audio Manager, you get the One touch play; once you change it you will be running Media player in the back ground
Moved the thread to the general section.
Thanks for understanding.

Try changing the default player to WM using Adv Config!
...A reason to change
I also want to do similar....however, I love the new Audio Mananger cab from HTC. BUT!!! I am peed off at having no direct access to volume control and that is spoiling the experience for me.
I dont want to change to WMP, but may have to if it turns out that it offers the much needed direct onscreen or HW access to volume control.
Incidently, to the point made about trying AdvConfig....It works NOT!. I tried several times to force the change over but to no avail. The way i have left my setup, is simply to install a previous version of Audio Manager (which doesnt offer the album cover facility) and place a shortcut to it on the Manila Programs tab. I found that using a diifernt version via the Audio tab screwed the screen up,

I believe that all you have to do is find the link for the HTC audio player in the /windows folder of your phone, copy the WMP link and rename it to the htc Audio player link, and overwrite. This is how I changed my web browser from opera to pie.
Let me know if this helps
bump. still havent found a resolution yet
Volume control on Music Screen in Manila 2D
Look here... Aruppenthal managed to have it done on his ROM.

hello guys i have tried searching the forum but i couldn't find anything so i started this thread.
well is there any plugin for the std homescreen with HTC audiomanager there is only wmp and i hate that is it possible maby to associate the wmp plugin with htc audio manager ?
regards Prosasan
can`t understand you
okey i'll try to rephrase this;
you know that there is a standard Win media player plug-in for the homescreen in wm 6.5, i hate wmp. i would then like to get i another plug-in for the HTC audio manager. or associate the existing plug-in with htc audiomanager.
hope i rephrased it better this time
