Besides success or failure of upgrading ROM, what is the quickest way to verify CID lock status? Sorry for the lay- question but I have looked around the forum and not found the answer.
Hello;
The easiest way to fetch CID status, is to use Wizard Services Tool.
Here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=329170
Download it, install it, and then on the screen you have to choose CID actions -> Read CID Block.
It will give you something like this: (this image is attached on the previous thread) and will show your CID status.

Ive got this same message when i tried to Flash HSPL on my replacement Touch Pro 2. I figured that unless i give a donation i wont be able to flash custom roms on to my new touch pro 2.
There is a cab somewhere on here to force your phone to go to the boot loader. It installs on the phone itself. I know it is somewhere on the thread of how to flash roms for noobs. I had the same problem. Just read and read some more.
i think the error message says all you need to know....thread closed not rom development.
This question got asked in the [ROM] Original Shipping - Tutorial but no one answered; I guess because there's such low traffic in that thread.
Anyway, is there any incompatibility with radios etc by going to the image from ANY version of Android?
Here's the version I have:

}
Just want to make sure I'm not going to brick it or anything, with all the radio updates I've installed.
Especially since the image is taking *forever* to download (literally, total of 25 minutes so far).
[Edit]: Nevermind, I ran through it and no problems! I'm back to stock! 2.1, ERD79, and everything

My friends phone just did this to him out of the blue. I told him I'd try to work on it for him so I have arrived at the bootloader unlock solution as I was going to try to flash the factory image for him but I get this message at the oem unlock screen to do this:
Code:
Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Android Settings > Developer
This is impossible because the phone cannot be booted. This phone has never been modded, it just up and quit on him. I already went through recovery to wipe data/user and it still meets with the above screen.
My theory is the flash must be hosed. Any suggestions?
Hello to all,
I'm digging out a bit, but I got my hands on my watch again and I'm trying to find a way to fix it.
It is still stuck on the LG logo.
I have changed the battery twice, the charger.
I can access the fastboot and the Recovery Mode does not work.
Here is the information:

Do you think I can flash the rom, or is it dead ?
What is the procedure ?
Thanks.
UP. Someone ?
You need to find the stock software or recovery, unlock flashing and flash something.
If not, you need to get to the ROM bootloader. What SoC is that anyway?
