I tested yesterday, and the recording stoped automatically at 3+ minutes.
Is this a limitation?
I tought that we can record unlimited time as long as the storage card is not full....
Any tweak?
I just did a 6 minute to test.
No issues.

Can someone confirm the following bug?
If I use the camcorder in general everything works fine so far.
When I use the camcorder via the video function of the external Whatsapp Application the video recording stops after 12 seconds. I guess it's because the video file size reaches the limit of 16 Megabyte.
BUT: after doing this the video recording also stops after 12 seconds if I use the camcorder via the default camera application, even if there's enough space left on the internal storage.
After rebooting the device everything is working fine. I can record with the camcorder as long as I wish or until the storage limits is reached. As soon as I start the camcorder via WhatsApp again the same problem.
I can reproduce this problem. The device is factory new (1 day in use). The camera settings default.

Every time while trying to shoot a video in Full HD, the recording stops after only 6 seconds.
While trying in HD (720P) it takes 10sec for it to stop.
I have nearly 20Gb available.
HTC One 801n - 3 days old.
So, I've recorded 720p(7,8 GB, 1:26 long) video of our band's rehersal yesterday and I've noticed that about 30 minutes in, video starts lagging behind audio and then gradually increases over time..
Any ideas what could be the problem, possible solutions?
I'm on stock/unrooted phone updated to Sense6, 4.4.2.

Hello. I have encountered a weird problem, when trying to record 1080 or higher resolution video. From time to time video recording stops after 4:01 min of recording if screen timeout is set to two min, and stops after 2:16 if timeout is set to 15 sec.
Interesting thing, If I set screen to always on, the camera doesn't stop recording. So, the camera app obviously shuts down after two minutes of filming not being able to hold the screen on.
Did someone fell in such a problem and knows the reason of it?
One more thing, if wifi is enabled, video recording doesn't stop, even if screen off is set. Tested many times. Stock rom and exkernel
noticed twice in last few days, while recording, i realise that after few minutes its no longer recording and in just normal camera mode, i then go back to gallery and its not there/saved.
most of times it works ok
it happens quietly without any errors
anyone had this issue?
