BlueTooth problem - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hi,
I have a problem with the BT.
I installed the newest HTC Album, and HTC Task Manager (latest build), and afther that, I cant turn on the BT! When I push the BT icon in the Comm Manager, the PDA is loadin for a while, and afther that shows the BT icon OFF.
I uninstalled the Album, and Task manager, but the problem is still on.
please help me!

I have the same problem. Everytime i hit the bluetooth icon on the comm manager, the load icon comes up then bluetooth is still off. I soft-reset the phone and everything and it still doesn't work. Help?
I didn't install anything new, it just stopped working for some reason.

what about settings connection tab bluetooth what are the settings in here?

I having the same problem, ever time I try to turn BT on it works for a min then just turns off. I have noticed the blue led falsh a few times then stop. Also when I turn the phone off and then on the bluetooth icon is green and the blue led flashes but as so as I go into the comm manger or settings it turns off. so my BT does not work at all. This just happened during a call using my jawbone headset and has not worked since. Any help would be great. OH---- and I have tried reloading the rom and different roms and still does not work. It is a POS to many problems with this damn phone.

OMG I just figured it out! I cant believe it works now. I just pushed the BT icon on the comm manger and soft reseted it when it was working and when it restarted it worked! Also, know that my phone was off when i did this, not sure if it matters or not but just for the info

WLAN Won't turn on

I've tried various ROMS, currently using the clean Tilt rom. After a hard reset I am able to turn on the WLAN and connect to my home network. After a while, I am no longer able to turn on the WLAN. If I tap the WLAN button in comm manager, I see the spinning beach ball for a few seconds, then nothing happens. The icon doesn't light up, it doesn't search for a network, no error is displayed, just nothing.
Has anyone seen this problem or have an idea of what else I can check?
Did you install any of the custom comm managers? It's pretty common that they break the WLAN enable/disable. I use the 10 button one but there is a reghack to fix it.
I just did another hard reset. Still using Helmi_Tilt_AKU.0.7.0.R1.BigStorage.exe ROM. After the initial startup and customization ran, I was able to turn on and connect the WLAN. After that, I did a power off. (Hold the power button 5 secs). When I turned the Tilt back on, I was no longer able to turn on the WLAN. I had not installed any software.
I'm reflashing with the original ATT rom. I'll report back after I've done the same test with that ROM.
I reflashed the original ATT rom. Same Issue. I think I just have a bad unit. If I power cycle. sometimes it works, sometime it doesn't. I haven't been able to get a consistent result.
Final result. It was a bad unit. I got a warranty replacement and it's working fine now.

Wireless automatically turns on after soft reset. HELP

Hi there,
My wireless (wi-fi) on my TILT keeps automatically turning on after I do a soft reset. I turn the reboot the phone with wireless off, but when I reboot it, the wireless automatically turns on and starts looking for a connection.
This is depleting the electrons in my battery and is becoming very annoying.
Any ideas or solutions as to what may cause this and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for the help.
it's one of the cabs you have installed, the comm manager if I'm not mistaken. I had that problem with one of installs as well. If you can't live with the comm mgr, learn to turn off wifi when you soft reset, otherwise wipe it clean and steer clear of crappy cabs. I'm sure there's a registry edit for it somewhere, but too lazy to dig.
Could you be more clear on this comms manager?
My phone seems to have it installed but i cannot uninstall it.. it came with the phone
I also notice my phone trying to connect to GPRS randomly with nothing set to update automatically etc
Its becoming a pain in the arse as i can cancel the connection 100 times and it will keep going and i have to power the phone off to stop it
I have the 6-button gray comm manager that lists Airplane Mode, Phone, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Beam, and 3G. All the buttons are horizontal.
How can the comm manager be causing the problem though...please elaborate.
Thanks again.
if all fails you can try this solution:

post #4, not really recommended but its a fix
i leave my wifi on all the time(default settings- off on standby)
and i get about 15 hours with low-medium usage

Bluetooth won't turn on ...

I've had my Kaiser for a while and now, for some reason, Bluetooth won't turn on.
If I go into Comm Manager and press the Bluetooth icon, the little swirling coloured circle (WM hourglass) goes around for a few seconds and then bluetooth icon stays off (as if it's turned off) and the blue bluetooth light doesn't appear on the phone.
I've installed Jetware from http://www.jetwaremobile.com/install.htm in the vain hope that it would start working. I also installed the HTC bluetooth fix from another thread in here (released in December 2007) - same deal, nothing.
Short of hard resetting the phone (which I'm loathed to do) is there any way I can fix this or even investigate what is happening. Obviously the spinning circle and nothing happening doesn't give much info away when trying to diagnose it!!!
Any help appreciated.
If you soft reset and try enabling bluetooth right after it, does it work? I recall such an issue with the Hermes.

If you soft reset and then go into Comm Manager the Bluetooth icon is lit like it's on. However if you wait it then goes off OR if you select it it turns off and then won't turn on again.
Basically I think the bluetooth icon is mistaken when it's soft reset as the blue flashing LED never appears on the phone to indicate that bluetooth is working.

Does anybody have ANY suggestions at all on this? If not, I will hard reset howveer I am very reluctant to do this (as you can imagine)!

Try a hard reboot, (press the power button until it turns off, then turn it back on)
That's worked for me when I have that issue
You can also try booting into CWM, going to the advanced menu, then "fix permisions". For some reason doing the fix permisions in CWM instead of rom manager works better for me. It might for you.
Getting BT working
OK buffnutz1, here's what I did. I went into ROM Manager and did a "Fix Permissions" and then I did a hard reboot. When I restarted CM7 I was able to get BT working no problem.
I have also bought CoPilot Live 8 and use my BT GPS receiver to turn my Nook into a fun BIG navigation device.

[Q] Bluetooth

Yesterday my bluetooth won't turn on. It has been working good but all of a sudden you go to settings to turn it on and the on button changes color a little but not bright like it usually does and in an minute or so it will go back to off. The bluetooth logo never shows atr top of screen. Any help appreciated.
Added info. I googled and found that sometime a app. will cause this. I haven't recently installed a app and bluetooth has worked since last app install
L.D.
I have found if I shut phone down and restart bluetooth can then be turned on. However, Later bluetooth can't be turned in until another restart.
