Hi!
I used this software before in my Ipaq. However when I tried this in my Kaiser, had a feeling that it slowed my Kaiser and also freezed it.
Anybody know software which is doing:
- Answer preconficured sms-message to caller if I am not answer or press hang-up
- Add this call to my calendar, with text what sent to caller
- Check my next availibility time and adds it to that sms
Like: "Automatic response: I am not available right now. I'll call you bac as soon as possible. According to my calendar I'm free at 14:30."
Like that... you can check sms notifier software from the webpage: http://www.codeplex.com/SMSNotifier
Nobody have any suggestions?

Hi all,
I'm running iAnywhere's OneBridge software on my Kaiser to sync with the company's Lotus Notes server. The version of OneBridge client is 5.5.2007.0702.
There are currently two unresolved issues on my client aplication:
1) I'm using the LiveConnect feature (which works in similar way as the "push" technology and delivers e-mail messages to your mobile device in real time). I would like to set up OneBridge LiveConnect to notify me, when new e-mail arrives. There is an option "notify using:" and the possibilities are: display, sound, vibrate. I have chcecked all of them. When a new e-mail arrives, the device displays message, vibrates but plays only a short click - in fact this is the sound, which is named as "default.wav" (in Windows directory). I was not able to find any solution how to set different sound notification - the short click is hard to be heard. Have anybody resolved this issue? I also had the idea to replace the "default.wav" file in the Windows directory, but this is a ROM file, so it can't be replaced.
2) When the OneBridge LiveConnect client was installed, it replaced the left context button (originaly assigned to Calendar) to "Notification" function, which pops up the status of OneBridge LiveConnect service. As i can check the status also by clicking on the LiveConnect green icon in the top line next to clock, it is redundant to have the left context key assigned to the same function (blocked by this function to be precise). Anybody have an idea how to get rid of the "Notification" and get back to "Calendar" setting?
Thank you very much in advance for any answers for this (quite speciffic) questions.
I can answer half of your questions
2) - use the Softkey Changer Applet (attached) to select the application you want to use for the left (and right) soft keys.
EDIT: Once you've installed it, you'll find it in Start | Settings | System | Soft Key.
Mark.
How does onebridge compare to commontime mnotes?
To Mark Crouch: Thanks for the suggestion. I allready looked to the registry HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112 where the left context key is stored and there is still Calendar there. So it seems that it is not hard-overwritten. After a soft-reset, for about 30seconds (before OneBridge LiveConnect starts), the soft-key is assigned to Calendar and then it changes to "Notification" - like in case of missed call or sms message. It looks like the OneBridge LiveConnect sends some event Notification which is then displayed by the windows mobile as usually.
To captainsensible2002: OneBridge is very robust and complex solution, but quite expensive in my oppinion. For a big company (100's of users) it is probably a good solution, similar to Blackberry or MS Exchange. My basic understanding of the LiveConnect function is that it is based on data connection - the client estabilishes connection with the server and is in stand-by mode, waiting for a packet (new mail information), which is sent by the server. The client then downloads the message. It is not very much battery consuming as the data connection is just active without any data transfers for majority of the time.
I have the exact problem listed in item 2. It is some kind of notification but once you view it, it doesn't go away like a notification should. I sure would be interested if you have found a solution. I'm not getting much support from my company.
Notification
Hi.
Did anyone of you find out what to do with the notification?
I have the same problem aswell.
The only way, how to change OneBridge sound notification - change WM default notification sound.
It can be done by editing registry value.
In registry go to:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\Default
Then change value Wave to another sound.
I change sound to \Windows\Alarm3.wma
Then Soft reset
After reset you will get different sound when mail will arrive.
If I found another solution, then I will post here.
Hi guys,
did anyone solve the notification issue?, im having the same problem
its not thats its assigned to the softbutton , it lies on top of wm own notification, rather annoing and it serves no purpose, if i wand to se thats its coonected, than i can click the icon on the top of the sceen.
hi, apologies if this has already been covered but the forum search engine is not the easiest thing to use when you are not sure what the question is!!
has anyone written anything that would give this device the ability to give periodic reminders, ie vibration alert or a beep of sorts to remind of missed calls or text messages? i am quite sure its not something which comes as a feature on the device but would be really useful.
AlarmPal from PocketMax - get it from here - is the only reliable solution I know of....
You can (supposedly) patch the registry to enable the "Repeat" option in Sounds & Notifications for any entry where it is currently greyed out (like missed call, new SMS etc..) - check out this post for all the details - I've tried this in the past and I found that the notifications kept going even after you'd read the SMS or dealt with the missed call......YMMV
Hope that helps
Mark.
excellent, cheers. looks like just the badger i was after.
On the samesite is fone alarm been using it for over a year, fantastic solution.

Do a google search for don't forget 2. Freeware.
But I prefer Phonealarm myself
SPB Phone Suites also has this feature, along with a nice today photo contacts option.
Go to Text Message => Menu => Tools => Options => Account Setting => uncheck Request delivery notifications
huh ?
well...not sure what you're talking about. but for those for you who is actually searching for a program to send auto reply text's....here it is.
I also built a SMS Auto Reply tool.
It can send customized responses to your Pocket Outlook contacts, or a generic response to anyone else.
The next version (Being released tonight) will log the intercepted SMS and phone calls to the Pocket Outlook Calender, so you can visually look at when calls came in during the day.

Hot! All i can say... (other then the board requires reply to be at least 10 characters long)
I got my Diamond last Thursday and have been using it with my secondary sim whilst I got used to the phone and became used to using it intuitively... I am happy to say I am now completely comfortable with it and it is *almost* perfect!
Changes:
*Bepe 0.97 FIXED
*Diamond Advance Config tool
*S2U2
*Comm Manager advance.
Thank you to all the great people working to made this device all it should be! Donations forthcoming very soon!
I have just a few questions with regard to my remaining issues:
*The contacts summary page which comes up after ending a call, any way to suppress that?
*Is there any way to bluetooth contacts, files (pictures/music etc) to and from another mobile phone? I tried transferring a jpg image, an MP3 ringtone and a contact via bluetooth from a Sony Ericsson W880i but all three failed!
*Is there any way to display contacts as FORENAME SURNAME as opposed to SURNAME, FORENAME?
Thank you in advance for any advice regarding the above
Anyone?????
Think I might be able to help you out there.
1. To get rid of that contacts thing at the end of a call, tap Phone on the Home screen, then tap Menu and then Options. Go to the Advanced tab right at the end and untick "Add new phone number to Contacts at end of call".
2. To receive files of any kind over bluetooth, you have to have Bluetooth turned on in the Comm Manager, but you also need to have the Beam option turned on. If you have the modified Comm manager then you should be able to see the Beam option in there.
3. All my contacts show up as "forename surname" already, I think it might be to do with how you have it set up in Outlook, because I remember Outlook had it "surname, forename" by default and that drove me mad until I changed it. Hunt around in Outlook to change the way they're displayed, then do a sync, and I'd say that should do it.
Dave
Thanks for taking the time to reply Dave!
The contact summary still seems to come up I did untick this box a few days ago and maybe its a bug but the screen still appears on finishing a call.
I turned on Beam and the bluetooth file transfer now works just fine, thank you!
I will sync up when I get home and have a play around with Outlook, thanks for the suggestion I think that will remedy this problem too.
Is there an advanced contact manager or SMS manager out there by chance? Sending and receiving a few SMS today and the whole transition from TF3d to the WM is a bit jarry, and browsing contacts isnt really possible without the stylus... so far these are the only small niggles in day to day use! The latest version of S2U2 really helps usability and allows you to lock the hardware buttons when you get an incoming call... no more calls answered by mistake with this app!
No bother.
I never manually browse the contacts list because it scrolls very strangely, its impossible to successfully pick a contact.
The best way to select a contact when sending a text, I've found, is to type the first letter or two of their name, eg "DA" and then everyone with a name starting with DA is listed, eg DAD, DAVE etc. Much better than scrolling a list. Its the same behaviour when making a call and you want to select a contact; just bring up the Phone app (the one with the keypad) and start typing their name on the number pad.
I agree though that the process of moving from TF3D to WM6 when sending a text is very clunky. I wonder would HTC consider developing their own TouchFlo messaging software that covers all aspects of sending SMS and email. Unfortunately the iPhone still has the advantage there; you still have to get out the stylus every now and then on the Diamond.
I have most of my most frequently used numbers under the People tab in TF3D... good suggestions as above though.
May give this a try if I cant get along with the SMS...

Will have a search to see user opinions
I'd like to send an SMS to the caller, when I manually reject an incoming call.
Something like the SMS reply function of Call Firewall application, but just for manual rejects, not for blacklisted callers...
It's an application I saw on Rim Blackberry phone of a friend of mine. When someone calls and he's in a meeting (but for some reason he has the phone on), he just push the red button. The caller receives an SMS like "Sorry, I'm busy, I'll call you later", and the reminder of the call-back goes in the to-do list.
It's something very useful, I wonder I didn't find any WM software able to do this 'simple' matter...
Thanks for any help
Thunder
Some dialers on custom ROMs have that built-in (it's one of the softkeys, however, not the red ignore button). I'd look around at some dialers that you could flash to your phone.
most of htc's newer dialers on newer devices provide the option to "reject with an SMS" in addition to the usual "answer" and "ignore" functionalities.
i believe the dialer from the htc opal was one of the first dialers to offer the feature.
fortunately, in the world of winmo devices, the great people here at xda frequently and successfully provide "rips" of such applications that work just fine on any other device...like the previous post mentions, quite a few custom ROMs include dialers ripped from other devices. so you can add on the desired dialer or look for a ROM with the dialer of your choice built in, so search away!

As per their web site, this tool replyes to every incoming call with an SMS, when enabled, and this is a standard feature of callfirewall.
What I need is to manually reject a call with some button, and send an sms to the caller.
Much more, I'd like to find the task "call back Mr. Jones" in my calendar...
I'm going to look into some dialer plugin...
Thanks
Thunder

Thanks a lot, my friend, but unfortunately this app does not install on my Kaiser.
Don't know exactly why, but I downloaded (twice) the demo cab and it is not installing.
Any other idea?
Thunder
Just to inform everybody here around that S2U2 has this feature built-in.
I had the solution in my hands and I was not aware of this...
Bye

Try "QSMS To Buddy:FullFeatured" free app from android market
Use "QSMS to buddy" App from android market.
- This app allows you to send sms to missed/rejected calls.
- It also allows you to send a 'default' sms after user specified time period. e.g. you can specify to send a msg after 10 secs
- *** You send sms during "Outgoing" call reject as well
- *** You have ability to messages while sending the reject sms depending on the context. e.g. "I will call back in 10 mins" instead of "I will call back later"
There are other interesting features as well in this app. Watch demo at youtube with key word "QSMS : Quick SMS To Buddy Android App by Onion Systems"
