Turn hands-free off and on using hardware buttons - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hi all,
Has someone found an app which turns the hands-free on and off? I would like to connect it to one of the hardware buttons...
Why would I like this? My bluetooth carkit (Pioneer HD3BT) does is silent when the phone connects after I dial a number. When I turn hands-free off and on again it's fine. Another issue is that when it's dialling, I do not hear anything, and when it finally connects it misses the first 3 seconds of the conversation. Turning hands-free off and on while dialling fixes this too...but using a hardware button would make my life sooooo much easier
Regards,
Nika.

Mort Script it

Yeah, that works for speaker phone on the TyTN II too, now I need to check in the car whether it works for Hands-free as well...

Nope, it didn't work for hands-free... so the big question is: who can write a MortScript that does this? I wasn't able to find how to turn the hands-free on or off with MortScript?

Has anyone found a fix to the BT Volume problem

Sorry if I am beating a dead horse, but I love my Tilt... but hate the low volume on BT...
Nothing yet, there's no reaction from HTC yet....
There is no inherent BT "problem".
My TyTN II's BT volume is perfect. I use the Bluetrek ST1 stereo BT headset which has built in SRS WOW settings and this makes a HUGE difference on volume. So it is headset dependant and not device dependant.

Sorry I couldn't resist...
My volume is fine through my headset...could it just be the Bluetrek?

Using my old K-Jam I had perfect volume control using my cars bluetooth function. Changing to the Kaiser (O2 branded) the volume is terrible and virtually unusable unless you are stationary.
I intend to check this with an HTC branded unit to compare, but there is something not right and I don't believe it is the car.

thanks...............
It should... i have a NOKIA BH-503 and it works perfectly... but don't be alarmed about using a stereo bluetooth headset when watching videos cause the hd7 would automatically route you to use phone speakers... so thus if you need to watch a movie/podcasts... you have to use a wired headset or the phone speakers...
i think its a limitation that microsoft that they put on the phone... there are registery tweaks but you can only do those if you have dev-unlock phone...

[Q] Q: Earpiece Volume Setting Increase Mod?

The speaker volume on the phone is great, but sometimes I have a difficult time hearing the conversation through the earpiece, even when turned all the way up. This seems to be worse if I'm driving in a car and there is the road noise in the background. I usually end up turning on the speaker phone but then sometimes that affects the other caller.
Does anyone know if there is a mod that can increase the earpiece volume setting above the built-in settings? Thanks!

The fastest way is to go to settings, call, mark hearing aid. It will amplify in call volume.

May 1 patch - Now Car thinks Phone is making phone calls on Bluetooth Connect

Got the May 1 patch, and now, when I turn on my car, the phone connects, then a few seconds later, the car goes into phone call mode -- thinking that my phone is making a phone call. But... it's not.
My own phone call shows up on the Car's display along with a call time counter, and the only way to get rid of this is to press "hang up" on the steering wheel, or to make a real call, then hang up. VERY annoying.
I tried resetting the Bluetooth System App, Rebooting the phone, and re-pairing the phone to the car... No diff.
Any suggestions are welcome!

I've been having a similar problem after the April patch. Phone connects to car and when a call comes in the car starts to ring and when I accept or hang up it continues to ring until I shut the car off and back on. I have a 2017 Honda and this happens with my Note 9 and my S10+.

Turn Wifi off, then back on a few seconds later with a bluetooth if/then trigger?

OK. A little background.
One of the devices I use with my phone is an OBDII "scanner" for my vehicle. They make various types. Plugin (don't like that kind, can't charge my phone at the same kind), bluetooth (don't like that kind, can't listen to my phone's music while it's paired to the OBDII device)...and a WIFI connection device.
This is the one I landed on using. The problem is, it doesn't "release" the network connection. So hours later, in the house or halfway across town (from the car) I'll notice I've got no internet or phone service because the phone still thinks it's connected to the little OBDII scanner.
So my thought was, a little script to watch for my bluetooth to UNpair from my vehicle's bluetooth (when I get out, to go in the house/work), where it would turn off the wifi for like 30 seconds, forcing the phone to drop the OBDII(wifi) so it could acquire my home wifi.
Is this do-able with an un-rooted phone? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
