I've installed it on my tilt without any issues. Although, handango didn't want to let me download it saying its not compatible with my device. So far so good, will post any issues if any.

Looks like they are tweaking the program every day. I think I will wait a few weeks for everything to get sorted out!
Is there any confllict with the other Tweak porgrams mentioned in this forum?
Installed and like it a lot.
I'm not finding the setting to leave the screen on during a phone call, can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

Hi gregeast,
The option "Screen off during call" is location on OS Tweak under the Phone section. Uncheck that checkbox to keep the screen on during phone calls.
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm running version 2.25 Build 2. I was running in landscape display and couldn't see the --More-- button on the second OS Tweek screen to get me to Phone. In portrait it's there, just FYI.
Oh, and it worked

Most Recent Version
Please can anyone let me know if they are using the most recent version of PT2? I am really interested, but have read that the latest version causes glitches and hard-resets. I'm in hospital at the moment and can't afford to brick my phone! Cheers guys.
I was a big fan of PocketToolman on my old phone, but now I'm running manilla2D I don't have the tray down the bottom any more. Does anyone know a good way to get at Pockettoolman with Manilla running?

Wonderfull APP!!! Best thing out for the Kaiser at this time!
I'll see about that tweak, it wasn't there yet last time I looked More is always welcome.
I will get a screenshot of UI later, but it really isn't that exciting. It's a real program yes, but it all comes down to some labels and comboboxes that turn things off and on.
Furthermore, I don't know what's going on, but my site is not down :S Several people have downloaded it without trouble and it's on a dedicated 100mibt line.
Heh sorry I noobed up. Forgot /title in the HTML and some browser dont like that =p Too hasty in releasing the actual tool.
Chainfire,
What would be a good value for:
# Performance - File System Cache
# Performance - File System Filter Cache
# Performance - Font Cache
# Performance - TCP Window Size
?
And please add this:
HKCU >Control Panel>Backlight>QKeyLedTimeout
Tap on this entry and in the "value data" box enter the time you want the keyboard to stay on in seconds. Mine is set to 360 or 6 minutes. (default is 10 seconds)
\HKCU\ControlPanel\BackLight\LockLevel\
Change LockLevel to what ever value you want the backlight set to when your device is locked.
I took the values from Paul's registry tweak pack over at MoDaCo, he seems like a guru, so I just used his values. It'll be configurable later on. I'll also look at your other tweaks

Very interesting tweak for me. Is it made through a registry modification?
Can you tell me which one?
Yeah it's a registry tweak... these are the relevant keys:
HKLM\Comm\CommMgr\Planner\Settings\SuspendResume
HKLM\Comm\CommMgr\Planner\Settings\CacheTime
Thanks for sharing, I take you just need to close the app for the settings to register or is a reset needed?
Touchflo has really been getting on my nerves using npop with unwanted scrolling when selecting, but setting it to off does not seem to do anything so far, I'll see if a reset helps. There seems to be a delay when selecting too, maybe that's Touchflo kicking in too, seems like setting it to high wouldn't help.
Ok a soft reset and the darn scrolling is gone, so that takes care of my question, still a bit of a delay, wonder if sensitivity on high would help...i'll try!
Yeah some tweaks require soft-reset, others dont. I'll be damned if I keep track of which ones need what. Changes are applied when you select the value, not on app shutdown though. I'd always say it's wise to soft-reset the device after any changes, just to be sure.

Is there a tweak to have the keyboard turn on each time a key is pressed ? I find that sometimes it doesn't turn on when I'd need it too.

Yah, usually that's the auto sensor causing problems. Go to settings>buttons then the "backlight" tab and uncheck the keyboard backlight sensor.
Then add the reg tweak from a few posts back to increase the keyboard timeout for greater that the 10 sec default if you like. BTW good to see you here outside your forum, hope you like your Kaiser as much as I do mine!
Chainfire, do you have a donate button? This tweak app may grow into a must have for Kaiser owners if you get all the tweaks in one place. That's a great help, thanks for your effort and sharing!
Hehe ;-) Thanks, that did it, 10 seconds should be fine.

Can you explain how this is supposed to work? My settings were;
CacheTime=600 (I changed to 300)
SuspendResume=~GPRS! (changed to GPRS_bye_if_device_off)
I figured that the GPRS connection would close in 5 minutes of no use, or close if I turned the phone off (standby). But it seems to remian connected once it's established.
I'd appreciate any pointers!
Update KaiserTweak to v0.2 to add a few more tweaks. Webpage should also work good now. Webpage is a 'quickie' though, dont look at it, but read it Added short description of the various tweaks to the webpage and also added a screenshot from the VS2K5 debugger (it almost resembles the Kaiser ).

Karmba_a, first off, loved your 2.3, it was very solid. Just flashed 2.4 and the first thing I noticed is that along with the Home key fix (Infido's fix), the Start menu buttons no longer work. The People, Calendar and Settings tabs just take you back to the Home screen. I recall some discussions about this with Infido's fix. Not sure if there is a work around. Will keep testing, thanks again for the ROM.
One other issue that remains is that all phone buttons for Favorites under the People tab dial the same number. Example, my brother has 3 phone numbers. On the People tab, he is the first Favorite, under his picture are multiple buttons (one for each phone number). Regardless of which one I press, it dials his cell (default) number, not his work or his home. Dutty seems to have fixed this somehow, but I've been unable to find his solution yet.

after 30 minutes with it:
1. fast, very fast
2. same problem like the above with the start menu but...setting or disabling the mannila start menu, nice touch!
3. viewing pictures: scrolling seamlessly but no rotation and trying to zooming with the finger got me to the next picture...??!
4. no more separate volume for phone and system?!...sorry my bad, there is an option to revert to system-phone in the settings tab under sound (single volume, on-off)
5. finger keyboard in the ROM! wise choice, love it!
6. shut down, pocket RAR, JETCET print and JETCET Presenter also present in the ROM.
7. the touch and the scroll are i n c r e d i b l e. ....iponish (escuse my language)
8. the fonts are the right size, not to small and not too big.
going to hard reset and test some more...
9. new commanager including a complete, new settings tab for the phone with the "band switching".
10. "back" and "home" buttons working the way we all expected.
11. missing (maybe i can not find it?) t9mywords and long press key.
12. adobe reader without reflow (i forgot the registry key to make it reflow...).
13. in the settings cab there is a new option for G-sensor (screen rotation and calibration). no more cabs to install and uninstall...
14. notifications/event, after wireless network detected, last event in chinese?
15. adding picture with the camera directly from the contact's card is not working.
16 can not add to favorites any contact, not from the favorites tab and not from contacts.

only one but basic for me in the Regional Settings miss the Greeks...
Ok.. here is my take on this ROM.
- Home button: working.
- Opera: No zoom bar (working fine)
- Favorites: Tabs are still mapped to one number under Favorites.
- Start icons: The settings icon takes you to Home screen instead of setting tab on TF#D.
- Camera: For some reason, I cannot find the "+" on the view finder for me to focus on... Also, to take a pictre, I would have to touch and HOLD the click tab until it take the picture. Unlike the regular process of just touchin it would auto zoom and capture the picture.
- Picture orientation: Picture orientation in TF3D has a different format. Pictures taking in both Landscape and Potriate show up in the same size and shape. Cannot tell the differnece if the pic is landscape or potraite while flicking through it. Not an issue, but wanted to point out the difference.
- Browser TF3D: Still does not have the settings soft key to the right like other ROMs for Push Pages settings and frequency settings.
Ring Tones: This issue has been fixed. You can assign MP3 ringtones from you Storeage card with out any issues.
- My Contract card: In V2.4, when you choose the camera option to take a picture, instead of the front camera, the regular camera gets acctivated (V2.3 front camera is activated to take your own pic, wich made sense).
- FaceBook: Is still not integrated via the My Contact card option shown.
Over all... Fast, Steady ROM. After loading my personal Apps, the RAM was still under 57% with no apps Running.
Personally, I would prefer the V2.3 to this one, just because of the Camer functionalit.
But for folks who need Home button working... well, you will be glad to know it is fixed with out any issues.

After much hesitation I've finally abandoned HC for mad-murdock's tablet-friendly CM7, and it's looking great. Was just wondering if you guys have any suggestions for apps that can further enhance the user experience. Thinking about things along the lines of WaveLauncher and Perfect Task Switcher, for that slightly Palm-y feel
How 'bout it? How d'you take your nook?
elixir - which creates a mini app tray of sorts you can place on your home screen - i created one for each of my screen - home screen had quick access to commonly used items - pulse, usatoday,tapatalk, second screen contained my utilities - titanium backup, ROM manager, Root Explorer etc..
TV Shows Stream - great paid app lets you stream past and current TV shows - while not comprehensive it does capture some of my favorites - outer limits, spartacus, fringe
NookPowerColor Button - really handy power button to turn off screen
CoPilot - navigation software i use with BT GPS
textfree/pinger - send/recieve text
Smart Taskbar:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.smart.taskbar&feature=search_result
Hands-down the absolute best app for app switching. One swipe, regardless of where you are in any app, and you have access to all your apps. A single swipe and tap and I can switch apps in half a second, even if the app wasn't already running.

why do you need a on screen button to turn off the screen? I don't get it, its the same as hitting the power button on the nook, right?
with textfree/pinger, can you send texts to anyone? like any phone?
I second TV Shows Stream!
It is the same as using the power button. However, for me, i like having an icon to just tap for screen off. Use this on my Evo too as it's so much easier to tap and turn off than feel for the power button. For me, it's a matter of convenience, that's all.
because i can place it anywhere in the screen and much more convenient not to mention reduce wear and tear to the power button - god knows we use it often enough when flashing
and yes you can text to mobile phones and not only that, text free gives you a phone number that people can respond and send text to

This is an old screenshot, since I can't take one with CM7 now... but I use extended controls (as seen at the top) and have the following buttons:
Power | Wifi Toggle | Screen Timeout Toggle | Screen-Off | Brightness | Reboot
You can also save your settings to the SD card, so whenever I flash a new ROM, all I have to do is import the profile and apply to the widget.
It works great, well worth the (current) $1.13 price.

Interesting, but it doesn't have a preferences link in the typical place, so I can't get into its settings.
I'm not using VTL anymore, but if I remember correctly you hit MENU and then MORE to access the launcher's settings.

For operation of can use eight basic gestures finger movement, with pitch between vector directions 45 degrees, you can also use a combination of vectors in two directions, for example: upward and then left, left - then down, etc.
Of course you can used to bind programs different gestures in the menu configuration (Settings).
In the settings for my application, you can also change the appearance of Best App Launcher shape of fonts. Also there is a 'Excludes Application'-a list of open applications android, or rarely system utilities external services - work as active and which cause an error when you switch to them. Since sometimes fall on the list active of user task, such system utilities can be marked as' Excludes 'so they will not show up of the custom list programs.
Default management Best App Launcher set eight gestures:

For him - need more space on screen, slow and many click for launch/switch apps.
Android 5.0 Lollipop added the ability to keep your device unlocked so long as you stay connected to a trusted bluetooth device. Dubbed "Smart Lock", the feature is quite useful if you own a smart wearable that you keep on you at all times. However, Smart Lock is unavailable for devices that connect to your phone via Bluetooth Low Energy. Some manufacturers offer the ability to simulate Smart Lock through keeping their app on in the background (such as Xiaomi's Mi Band and the Mi Fit app), but others do not.
If you, for instance, own a basic Fitbit or one of the new Honor Z1 bands among others, then you'll be able to keep your phone unlocked so long as your wearable is in range of your phone by following this Tasker guide.
Prerequisites
Secure Settings plug-in
Bluetooth 4.0 LE enabled device
A Bluetooth LE Scanner app
Instructions
Ensure that Secure Settings is set as a Device Administrator by opening the app and going to the Preferences screen. This is so the plugin has the ability to enable/disable the lockscreen.
Bring your phone and your device close together. Open the BLE Scanner app you downloaded above, and press SCAN.
Write down the MAC ID of the device that shows up at the top of the list. This should be the address of the Fitbit or other wearable, in case the name doesn't properly populate.
Click + to create a new Profile and name it "Watch Near" or anything else you want.
Select the State context, then select "BT Near" under "Net."
Once you're in the BT Near setting, type in the Bluetooth Address that you wrote down earlier under "Address." Additionally, select "Low-Energy (LE) Devices" and "Unpaired Devices". Leave everything else unchecked and/or default.
Press the back key to save and exit the context setup.
Tasker will now ask you to set up a new task associated with this context. Click on "New Task" and optionally give the task a name. Before we move on, here's a picture of what the context screen should look like.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now that you've got the context set-up, we're going to make a simple entry and exit task to correspond to when your phone connects/disconnects to your smart wearable.
Plugin --> Secure Settings. Under the Dev Admin Actions dropdown, select Password/Pin. Make sure that the box is set as "DISABLED" and that Device Admin Enabled is checked. Press the save icon up top to exit, then press the back key once you're back in Tasker.
Press back once more to exit the task creation. Now expand the Profile you just created by tapping on its name. Long-press on the Task that launches, the select "Add Exit Task."
Within this new task, you're going to do the opposite of what you did above. Plugin --> Secure Settings. Select Password/Pin under Dev Admin Actions again, but this time change the box to "ENABLED" and set up the password or pin code that you desire. Exit out all the way after you're done.
That's it! Your phone should now automatically disable the pin/password when your bluetooth device is in range, otherwise it will re-enabled it. You can expand the power of this task by adding some alerts for when your device and phone disconnects, the choice is up to you!

Smart Lock already works with regular bluetooth devices out of the box, so I wouldn't recommend using Tasker for that. But yes, if you put in the Bluetooth MAC ID into Tasker it will work the same way.
Does not work with my meizu pro5 and Xiaomi mi band 1s (Android 5.1.1)
Still I need to put my finger on finger scanner or putting the pin code to unlock the device
Will it break the device protection and the encryption
This is great thanks, I am using this with a cheap Bluetooth tracker keyring I got from eBay for 99p.
Edit
I need to test this a little more with the tag. The tag seems to power its self off which means it doesn't then trigger BT Near.
Where is the Secure Settings plug-in? There is an app of that name, by intangibleObject - is that what you mean?

The Secure Settings Plugin is in an app called "Tasker".
However, having setup this instructions it seems to me that Secure Settings or TAsker never triggers a lockscreen/password protection to be active. What is your default state ? OS Version ? Do you have any initial password options enabled ?

I haven't had time to try it yet - I am on Marshmallow and have a BT LE step counter to test it with, when I have a chance.
Please Do. It works but somehow Timing of tasker to Check connection is not really good
This can be accomplished using the delayed lock app in conjunction with the Tasker plugin without having to use secure settings
