I'm having a problem with screwed up fonts in Comm Mgr
Anybody know why ?
You probably installed a piece of software that added a font to the windows/font folder. If you take that font out, it will fix the problem.
Also, if you search this forum for comm manager font, you will see a discussion on this topic. Good luck.

I want to hide the comm manager icon in the system tray bar, I found a cab file in this forum, but it's not works on my xda mini s. Anyone knows how to change the registry?

I've not really liked the pink/purple of the T-Mobile comm manager icons, so I installed duttythroy's 10 button one.
I really like the simplicity of the of these icons, and the blue is my fave color.
What I want to do is change as much of the graphics as possible (home screen, dialer screen and others) to be the same style as the comm manager.
Any ideas of how to do this?

Check out Schaps Rom for Hermes.... in one release you will find the necessary cabs for comm manager, audio manager, htc home and so on... as well as schaps black theme. give it a try - dont forget to make a backup.
If you look in the \windows folder you will find all the .png files you are looking for they are HH_*.png and L_*.png and #.png If you edit them and change them around and put them back into the \windows dir on your phone they will change the appearance

I have almost got it like I want it.
The only problem is the Home background.
I have PaintShopPro 7 and I have created some backgrounds, but when I use start> settings> home to select the background they get displayed very pixellated and as if the brightness has been turned up very high on the image.
I have tried several file formats for them as well.
I've got installed:

Windows Live 10.6.33.0600 (which only shows the loading for less than a second and does nothing)
try using the built in photo viewer app to set the today screen wallpaper. Make sure to select 0% for the transparency.

But the HTCHomeplug only shows 2 icons. and 2 other icons are there but no pictures. Not sure what the problem is.

icon registry help
search for my thread or search registry in the title in kaiser upgrading. in there we've got the keys for all 4 icons plus the batt and rotation icons (like on the tilt) or you can add other icons to it like ie file explorer or other programs on your storage card if you need additional help ask on that thread. search is your friend
Can someone please tell me how to change the font on tf3d to my own font, not one that's already in someone else's .cab file and also same deal with icons. I can make the icons yes, but how do i put them into a .cab file or in the correct format? I'm trying to make a fallout pip boy theme. thanks in advance, and sorry if these answers are posted somewhere - I really can't find them anywhere
Use the manila editor, found on the diamond forum. Search the diamond forum for the fonts as well. If you want to make a cab use quickcab found somewhere on the forum as well, 12

When I istalled it the comm manager font was changed. After uninstall I cant get the original font back. Does anybody know how this can be fixed? Any help will be much appreciated.

hello, mate, i've had a long running battle with different fonts and font changing programs on my SEX1i, few suggestions, download some free fonts from net, and put ones you like into windows/fonts folder, then it becomes even more intersting as CommMANAGER takes first SUITABLE font and uses it, so you can basically change it by deleting fonts alphabetically from the top, problem is , that some other programs use same process, so u should choose font that shows numbers as well , and , more importantly in my case, supports other languages, i suggest common windows fonts like book antiqua, georgia, couirier, arial and so forth, oh , and only .TTF fonts seem to work. you can also change font and its SIZE through fwe programs, like SPB Tips And Trix, AdvConfig, STK tools, XperiaTweak 2.0 and probably few others, check them out, but be careful, especially if you are bilingual, cause CommManager shares font with Opera and some dialers, if u need more info - U R WELCOME to drop me a line, as i said, i ve been having an ongoing battle with fonts and font sizes, and tried most options [email protected]
