I am going to receive my AT&T Tilt tomorrow. I want to know where i can download SKYPE for Tilt. I searched in SKYPE site but Tilt / TyTn II is not listed under compatible devices. I am not sure which version to use and where to download it.
Since i am totally new to PDA world, i am asking this. How do I install a cab file in Tilt? After installation how to run the program? Will that automatically appear in the respective folder ( i guess a reset might be required) ?
I was searching some freeware links for some downloads and find the below keypad usefull.

Hi,
Follow this thread for Skype issue.
To install a cab file, just run the cab file off your PPC. You'll find the program shortcut in your program folder.
As for keypad, I prefer to use HTC Keyboard found in this thread.
Have fun with your PPC pal.
Thanks Mate.
go to skype.com, download the version for htc, that's it. i am using quite good

I've been trying to get hold of MSN for my TyTNII and all i can find is a crap MS page that says its included with WM5
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/software/pocketmsn.mspx
does that mean that its not included in WM6 for some reason!?!
I can't find it anywhere on my Orange (uk) device. And i can't find any links to anywhere in order to download it.
Anybody got it or know where to get it, or even if its hidden away somewhere on my phone?
thanks.

Hi,
today I got my MDA compact Iv from T-Mobile, which is basically the HTC Touch Diamond.
I was so excited about this new phone and it's new features.
But I missed the Windows Live Messenger, which I need.
So far I used the MDA compact I, which got the old MSN Messenger.
I guess T-Mobile deleted it. Even with Hard reset and reset befor T-Mobile installs it's fancy software there were no Messenger.
Can you help me install it?
Thank you for your help
Idea
Any idea???
A site where to download or the files which I need???
try to setup in email settings a windows_live account first...
it will have been taken out of the ROM.
you can either install a cook rom with it in, or try and find a live messenger cab... i'm sure there is one..

edit - see above
just to make it easy for ya
go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405728
scroll down about 3 roms (its one of the lite ones and there is a link for extra applications)
download that rar file and it will have messenger in it. and it should work fine.
Hey mattie01,
this is the first messenger running on my device. Alle the cabs from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334621 didn't work.
The messenger starts not, but I can't log in.
I still can't creat a live mail account. When I click sign in messenger says, that there is a connectivity problem, even if a connection is open.
I hate T-Mobile for deleting it!
This one worked for me on a dutch MDA compact IV:

hi
No this is not what i am looking for, this is the bog standard Kaiser one, i want the flashy Diamond one that has photo dialing.
can anyone help me with the getting the cab for the stock aim messaging app in the fuze? i changed my rom to romeos and it doesn't have the stock messaging app..
check Da_G's rom thread or maybe NATF's. They have most of the original stuff cabbed
thx i tried looking for it and i still can't find it, if worst comes to worse maybe i can extract the cab from the stock rom.. but i can't even find the information to extract files from the rom.
Its called Oz Messenger try searching for that. I believe the program is normally sold, so I'm unsure if we can post it here. I have the cab file saved if needed. I also believe you can download it for free on MEdia Net.
I read that it uses SMS to send data, but I'm unsure if this is true. When I sign in my MEdia Net connection launches. Does anyone know for sure?
OZ Instant Messaging AKA in FUZE as PPC5.0 HTC Coke ATT.cab
Hi everyone, after looking for the messaging cab after clearing out the bloatware i wasn't able to find the file on the Fuze. I didn't want to download an old cab as this has a nice GUI on it that goes with rest. In the Fuze the name of the file is PPC5.0 HTC COKE ATT.cab. (aka Oz messaging). Navigating using your file explorer you will find it with a date of 01/15/09...632k. Hope this helps anyone looking for it. I don't know how to upload a cab on a site yet but as soon as I figure it out I'll post.
I tryed the OZ on 6.5 fuze rom EnergyROM Series 2.0 and you get txt msgs with errors.
Is there a way to put the stock yahoo in?

As you may know skype will not longer support Windows Mobile and Windows Phone. I'm a heavy skype user and the service will be only supported to actual windows users just for the rest of this 2010.
FYI - here's the latest cab that skype released some months ago (this is the version that I personally use).

I hope that helps
I used fring on my Kaiser for skype support, might be worth looking at (link in my signature)
I use it on my Touch Pro as routes sound to telephone ear speaker.
Kaiser fring download: http://www.fring.com/download/proce...=HTC&mhandset_type=Tytn+2&email=Email+address
Happy I bumped into this, I am a fan of fring also, occasionally though I need to add a contact to skype or authorize a new contact. I haven't found a way to that with fring.
Thanks
Thanks for posting these replies.
I could not download the skype application with my phone. Rapid share wouldn't let me download it from my phone. And now has been downloaded too many times to try from a computer.
Fring worked great with skype the first day. But now has been blocked.
Any other ideas.
Jason
