What is the price of brand new O2 XDA IIi (Alpine) in UK?

I will be visiting London in early August. What is the price of SIM and contract free brand new O2 XDA IIi (Alpine) on a O2 shop? I need the help of British members. Regards.
Can't buy this sim free from o2 shop unfortunately. Try here http://www.buymobilephones.net/store/merchant-4-38-273-phones.ihtml
£459
Thank you for the answer.
visit Computer Exchange (CEX) in harrow or tottenham court road. They sell mobiles and pda/mobiles. Check www.cex.co.uk for their stock. i know we've got an alpine in our brighton branch, and thats about £180. although they're second hand, they're just as good. (some are as-new).
Got mine at my store, though I did get my 15% staff discount too
Edit: Harrow has at least one, let me know if you want it reserved at all, or call them direct.
@flawless:
Thanks for the info, these are good prices. But I could not find a cex in tottenham court road. Is there any other name for this area?
Also is it possible to have an invoice for the second hand units?
Regards.

You won't find a cheap XDA-branded Alpine in the UK, O2 rips everybody off with their ridiculous prices (or they claw it back with extortionately overpriced tariffs... One of which I'm on  )
Best bet is to buy an import Q-Tek or suchlike.

price of HTC Kaiser??

just wondering what is the price of HTC Kaiser now??? anyone no where to get the best deal( less price)???
thanks
the XDA-Store has a great Deal: http://store.xda-developers.com/HTCTyTNII-unlocked.html
Comes with TomTom and US adapter for the UK plug
Free Ground shipping
Whoever you decide to buy from, call them and ask if they offer a discount if you purchase the mobile plan from them as well. That shaved over $100 off the unit that I ordered...

Anyone bought the kaiser at a decent price recently?

Has anyone bought the kaiser at a decent price recently? From the feedback in the forums, tursted web stores are a lot more expensive Even ebay is getting expensive...
I got mine from Orange (in the UK). My contract just expired - I spend about £50-80 per month and I negotiated 300 minutes, 500 text, 30MB data per month with unlimited data at evening and weekends for free, plus I got the phone for free as well!
The only other vendor in the UK that I know is selling the Tytn II is T-Mobile. Hit Orange with T-Mobile's web n walk service and they will probably bend a little, especially if you talk to the cancellations department - they will do everything they can to stop you leaving...
I got mine from egadget depot .com price match available and honest merchant with fast shipping.
Cheapest I found was £428 inc P&P at http://www.handtech.co.uk/

Att website has the TILT for a reasonable price:
http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-ph...etails/?device=AT&T+Tilt(TM)&q_sku=sku1060009
I own a small business. I recently moved 25 lines over from Sprint to AT&T. This was via an authorized dealer (AT&T franchise). They gave me my Tilt for $300.00 bucks. I will never deal with a corporate store again. It's almost like they have more freedom to do what they want in order to win business. My friend moved his family plan over from Tmobile to AT&T with the same franchise and they gave him the same deal as me.
Got mine from craigslist. Brand new at&t tilt for $400.00 even. best deal ever.
got mine for 300 euro's at a place they call the black market they sell all sorts of things before the official release date and for a reasonable price oya and thats only the phone with no contract or monthly payment it used to be the vario 3 but i sim unlocked it and flashed it with the dutch rom

There getting 499.00 at the att stores here. Retail ,no contract needed.
Add in 6% tax and 15 bucks to unlock it and your at 534 grand total.
Just walkin and walk out with a new phone.
What gets me is how someone would pay over 600 plus shipping on Ebay for the same thing (locked to att also). And theres alot of buy it nows on ebay over 600 bucks for a tilt. I must be missing something, I dont understand that.
OK whats the lowest price available for the tytn ii not the att tilt?
2 weeks ago from an AT&T store in NYC featuring a special $50 additional discount for 3 days - paid $350 + tax less $100 MIR = $250
just paid $99 us off HTC website

care to explain the details?
I have bought 4 units so far for family and friends. For Shops I would recommend Inkino Ltd at 48 Tottenham Court Road and 9 Great Russell Street. They recently had deals for HTC TyTN II P4550 Kaiser and 6GB Micro SD for £499.95.
I have also bought a unit from www.htcdirect.co.uk I was impressed with their speedy service, responses to my email queries and the unit turned up very nicely packaged. I will be using them in the future too. The only reason I went with HTCDirect was that Inkino had sold out at the time. Its always good to know more than one good source.

Price Confirmed?

Hi,
Two leading online mobile sites have posted their price for the unlocked Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. Does this mean that the price has been confirmed for this set?
On both sites (Xpansys and Dechowireless), the price for X1 is the same. It is - brace yourself - $949.00 to $949.99. (a 0.99 difference actually)
I have been expecting it to be a whooping $1100 since long now, so this price on these two sites is a relief. Not to mention, Xpansys selling for $949 could mean that you may be able to get it a bit cheaper for some other site or shop. (this is say not from personal experience)
So now that i know that the price is close to the others - as an example, Touch Pro on Xpansys is $899 and on Dechowireless is $920) - the question remains; which set to buy?
Best Regards.
I forgot to include the site links...
http://www.expansys-usa.com/
http://www.dechowireless.com/store/index.php
(You can use the country selector in Expansys to select your country or a one near you to get that country's site with pricing that currency)
Well Amazon.de has it listed at 639 euros, which is about as much.
http://www.amazon.de/Ericsson-XPERI...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=ce-de&qid=1221952119&sr=8-1
On a side note, Touch HD is listed at 619 euros.
http://www.amazon.de/HTC-Blackstone...=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=ce-de&qid=1221662764&sr=1-3
Well I am told devices are usally the same price in euros and dollars, not conversion for equal value. Meaning it will be 639 USD (assuming 639 Euro is correct).

Nope that is not the case. Consider Expansys...
Their US site lists the price as: $949.99.
Their UK site lists the price as: £584.99.
Funny thing is that taking into account the current currency rates and converting the price, £584.99 should equal a little over $840. I also converted through XE.com and same result.
Looking over at Expansys's other sites, some countries' have higher price in comparison to others... the cheapest i've seen so far is on their UK site... (so i'm guessing that the other prices include delivery to the country - considering that Xperia is launching in UK and a few other countries before others - so it will probably come down on those countries as it is launched there locally)

Yep... Amazon's price is pretty much the same as Expansys's price... as for the Touch HD, i have it on my list of mobiles to look at if Xperia doesn't get the reviews i'm hoping for. But after Xperia i've got my eyes on HTC Touch Pro... i'm thinking of going for a device with a keyboard - unless HTC Touch HD is really something else. (i've had a 1st gen iphone since it launched and am pretty tired of it and its on screen keyboard and all)
You can't compare the prices this way. Great Britain has no € ! The Pound in Great Britain is totaly different.
The German amazon prize of 639 € is tax included! And the tax is different in different countries. Therefore you first have to look, where is the prize from, than if tax is included or not and get the prizes without tax to compare
355€ here!

Can't be right, the Diamond is more expensive than Xperia there...
And that can't be true
Even the omnia is 519 € there -for this I guess it is just a non-known-price that will be corrected when it is available.
Fishy Price
Oasis Communications Inc. claims to offer the Xperia X1 for $450.00 which is way out of line with everyone else. You know, if it sounds to good to be true ... and so forth. Anyone have any experience with this company?

According to them its "In Stock, Ready for immediate shipment." I'm ordering 5! I would be wary of them..
Check their specs... they are either completely pulling your legs, or are selling prorotype models: "128MB RAM,"
The specs says 128 ram so they are selling prototypes.
The cheap logitel price moved up to 625 € http://www.logitel.de/handys/marken/SonyEricsson/xperia_x1_solid_black__302.html
Cheapest price at the moment is about 600 EUR.
or have a look here:

Mindfactory says October, 2nd as delivery date
And MediaMarkt announces it in its new offer from today for 699,00 € (Germany).

Buying Diamond2 from London

Hi all,
I'll be traveling to London soon, and I want to buy the Diamond 2 there (since it's cheaper).
Can someone please recommend a store to get it from (online store is irrelevant)? I need it to be unlocked and sim free, of course.
Thanks
Tottenham Court Road is your sest bet . Take a walk and do some bartering , you should ge the price you want
Will try that, thanks wardy!
sunrise digital is a good bet, but make sure you have some quotes from other shops first or from the internet.
i got 70 off my original diamond because of going there
Where is sunrise digital?
Just tried this same thing on Tottenham Court Rd two days ago and was quoted 450 pounds falling to 391 when vat recovered at Heathrow. Didnt bother with the haggling and didnt check other stores--this was the store very near to Oxford Street think it is called Technics or something like that.
I think Sunrise is further up the road if my memory serves me right. Much better off ordering by mail and getting it sent over for about 340 pounds.
But sent where? I don't live in London.
I bought a Diamond2 in Sunrise, Tottenham Court Road 3 weeks ago. I paid £420 including fitted Brando screensaver. I have decided not to keep it and it is for sale in the Marketplace. Much cheaper than in the shop. So I am am the cheapest place in London to buy a D2
Let me know if interested.
Thanks.
I get VAT off the retail price, so the price you are offering is a bit too much. Good luck though
I live in NYC so only hotel address in London and that wouldnt work (I checked). Some UK online companies seem willing to send to New York for 340 pounds or so which ain't bad if you ask me (100 pounds less than TC Road more or less). I think there are threads on the marketplace forum which give the names and websites of these firms.
can you plz post some websites?

Not if you read the whole thread
Tottenham court Road used to be quite competitive, but in the last couple of years I have never had prices matched to the cheapest on the internet, obviously because of their overheads. They are great if you need something urgently and don't mind paying, but they no longer match or better other stores prices, particularly internet stores.

My own experience is that the cheaper internet stores never have them in stock (and don't always tell you that on the site) whereas supply in TCT Rd is usually plentiful.
Having just ventured forth, the big advantage of TC Rd to me coming from NYC on a short visit to London wasn't the price but the chance to handle the D2 physically and check it out. Very useful--I did and compared it to my HD and decided against but others may arrive at a different conclusion. As far as price goes, think the internet is still a better bet and seems to work well from those who have used it according to reports on other threads.
I live in DC, got mine yesterday (05-12-09 / 12-5-09 ) placed the order previous thursday.
purchased from Handtec (http://www.handtec.co.uk)
356.89 including shipping.
The only thing I was pretty unhappy about was that they shipped it using a fed ex envelope, and not a box. When I opened the envelope, things were bad enough to have me worried the device was borked. luckily enough everything is fine. I would have happily paid $10 more to have it shipped in a box.
Anyways, this was the cheapest i found online.
Are you sure, it is really cheaper in the UK?
When I read prices of 420 pounds, that is more than I have paid at amazon /Germany (450 euros).
