I love the audio integration into HTC Home, but it appears we only have two choices, Windows Media Player and Audio Manager. I much prefer Conduits Pocket Player and I'm sure others prefer Core Player or something else. Is there a way to get the audio tab of HTC home to work with one of these 3rd party media players?
Any ideas on this one?
I've asked this before in other threads, no answer.
Instead of just asking, I've been looking in the registry, nothing jumps out. One value says which player to use and when HTCAudio is selected it reads "2", but how it knows what 2 is, I have no idea.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
change 2 to a 1 and soft reset that should change it to windows media player
htc audio manager - windows media player...
i would like to use gsplayer
I'm dying to know this too.
I want to use coreplayer. (Posted it as a feature request at the coreplayer site as well.)
PocketPlayer has its own today screen plugin.
Hi,
I have installed the latest Kaiser HTC Home v.2.0.814.722 on my Tytn II. The only problem I have now is the music button on the home screen now launches windows media player. How do I change this back to Audio manager?
Cheers

I have a Diamond and am loving it so far. But I do have a few questions.
1. I am using Napaster to go and it transfers music to the diamond no problem, they can be played in the audio manager of the 3D BUT the playlists do not transfer. They show up in the Windows media player but not in the audio player. Where are the audio player playlists stored? Different format?
2. Also how do I assoicate say a .wav file to the audio manager and not to windows meadia.
THANKS in advance for the responses....
sorry, no answer from me, but a question concerning the same subject
How do I remove tunes that have been deleted from the internal storage from the TF3D Music Player? Updating the Windows Media Database doesn't help. There are still remaining files with an exclamation mark up front that I can't remove.
I'm using the newest Diamond Project ROM.
Any help with this problem would be appreciated
Hi I have HTC customizer and Audio Manager, when I hit the manager tab it won't start and error message says something missing, I reinstalled . Still will not open manager but if you click mp3 file it plays in audio manager or I can click on audio manager exe and it opens, plays music and shows library... I used Kaiser Tweak to use manager instead of media player too. I am at a loss any help greatly appreciated!!!

tyvm for your reply TheRem,
yes i have tried many other songs, the player closes itself after 40sec n so, i have tired other players like WMP, Kinoma free player, the songs jst plays well in other players but the problem is with this htc audio manager, even when im usin the earphones the problem still persists.
after reading all the members post in this forum i planning to upgrade to windows mobile 6.5 released by PhamQuang n posted by licat.
hope winmo6.5 not have such prob regarding the audio manager.
try this...
go to Application Data\HTC\AudioManager
delete currentplaylist
when you open AudioManager, it will scan for songs and generate a new currentplaylist.
if that did not solve the problem... use Nitrogen instead, it's way better that AudioManager.
