Official GPS Rom for French SPV M700 available

I gave the information on French forum: PPCCool
You can find the link with new French Orange Rom with GPS for SPV M700
New version is 1.23.73.3 instead of 1.17.73.7
Upgrade in progress.

does anyone know whether this rom will install / work on a uk m700 and if so will it run in english???

some time ago i had a spv-e100 with orange rom, ok it was wm2002 phone edition, but i could change the languages!

If you want to change the English language to French you can go aheah It will run on any cid unlocked trinity and give you FRENCH language

hmm no possibility to change language....
so i have to improve my french skills....
the roms seems to be slower than the dopod rom, but a lot more stable with my mini-sdhc card....

seems to be slower maybe because a Orange Customize

This ROM was available 2 weeks ago.
I read in another forum that this ROM does not have the GPS
The reference of this ROM is:

bebaer : if you use des sspl you should be able to flash you phone with orange rom. In this case I suggest you to reset the device before extrom autorun installation, to finish the installation manually.
you will also have a few missing progs like messenger...
As far as I am concerned, my M700 was succesfully updated. Every is like before (except for the GPS of course ), including the issue with SIM+ and SD cards

Is your device a network branded version? If so you will have to wait for your Operator to release their version. The HTC site unfortunately is only for generic devices..

Bro, you received the response: "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device" because this rom is for Hongkong and serial does not match their database.
You have to wait for the new rom for your country; btw, whereabouts are you at?

i think your rom is from HK right ? So the problem is my phone is from UK i bought it from carphonewarehouse. So can i use HK rom ?? i tried 2 rom of pzucchel which based on 1.19.xxx rom (this one from HK site) and got some problem with it. Is there any rom from UK or europe ??

It doesnt matter if u bought device in UK, IF U HARDSP OR USPL ur device u can flash any rom. Regarding uk or europe rom there should be an orange uk rom and a Europe rom on my site should also be located on the wiki also

Problem downloading official English ROM - diferent hardware?

i'm looking for a original rom because of the "vodafonized" rom that comes with the JADE in Spain is slower then having an touch S with 200Mhz processor.
i have try to download original english rom:
HTC Touch 3G - English ROM for Middle East
but, when i set the serial number (i have a jade), i get this message:
"Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device."
why? there are diferent hardware types?

HardSPL first, then flash stock ROM...

nicodbgh, because HCT wont that you install ROM differ from your Jade native region. Thats all. Even you download any ROM in other language here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=483681 - you cant install it without HSPL. This is like patch for mobile. After you instal it - you can reflash any Jade ROM you want.

Thanks a lot chanaev, i'll star doing bakcup of the original-vodafonized-sapanish rom on weekend befores starting with hardspl.

as I know, the English version PRO2 in Hong Kong now supports Chinese too

FYI nixeus this is the latest released rom for touch pro 2 and it does support chinese w/o the installation of [email protected] oh and according to the information i have, the released device in SEA will be available with chinese inside the units.

Will this actually change or help anything? Please post any significant upgrades this does or if theres a reason to flash it.

Yes. It is my stock ROM. BTW, this version still have sms bug like diamond 2 where u cant get sms notification (sometimes) unless device is woke up from standby manually by pressing power button.

well according to what i have found out so far. it displays 288MB of ram in device info instead of 256MB where 1.19.707.1 does. oops... i am uploading 1.19.707.2 right now

My device says 188.46MB. Am I missing something?

What is the source of this ROM? I just flashed it and realised it updated the Spl to .84.
Im asking because eventually I need to send my TP2 back to HTC to correct an issue that I have with the screen. I have a device from Singapore (WWE) and dont see anything on any of HTCs web site(s)

How do I flash this ROM without HardSPL available?

there is no way to flash to other region roms w/o a HSPL and the rom upgrade is not about the free memory thing. its about the ram display. e.g. the 1.19.707.1 displays 256MB of ram while the 1.19.707.2 displays 288MB of ram. HTC released the rom due to too much customers complaining about the non tally ram that appeared on the product brochure. the rest of the fixes are not yet to be discovered as htc gave no information about it.

ROM from TELFORT - NDL

I got problem. I bought Touch HD in Nederland in TELFORT. I changed ROM to my native language. The thing is that i must send phone to service. Its Branded so now i need to change to orginal ROM and i dont have it. Is there any site wher i can downlad it (or maybe someone have ROM from TELFORT)?
I dont want loze my Warrianty. Phone was bought in 06.05.2009 and i have no idea what version it has before. Maybe anyone can help me

It has many ROMs, but if you do not find it there I think you may find it difficult to restore back to original.. You may need to ask someone to dump their ROM if they have the one you are looking for.

This is a NLD ROM, so try downloading and flashing that.

Do you think this ROM should be ok? Branded ROMs have some roms like other non branded? Just have CID lock?

If you have HardSPL installed then CID is no problem when flashing ROMs.
I think the ROM i have shown you is unbranded HTC Netherlands ROM, so I don't think it may be useful for you if you want the branding. I cannot find the branded ROM either on the internet.
You can either:
- Wait until someone who has the ROM dump it for you
- Try to sort out your problem here (if its software related), without using warrentee
- Take the PDA to a thirdparty to fix it so warrentee/other ROMs aren't an issue
- Flash the ROM I have provided and restore SPL to original, then send in for repair and hope HTC don't say anything (which I think they shouldn't, but cannot guarentee this)

ok then, i think i will wait like 1 week - maybe someone with orginal branded ROM will make Copy of his ROM and sen me - hope so. If no - then i will put your ROM in it and pray that service wont say anyting.

there is no need to change the rom back to the original
i had mine running wm6.5 and it came back with the original rom
so that means they flashed it again
they didn't say about anything and also didn't charge me so....

This isn't always the case. HTC have been known to void warranties due to cooked roms on device.
