Dear all,
As promise HTC and his French importator (Dangaard) released yesterday the new French ROM with GPS enabled.
Before, the only French ROM with GPS was made by French operator SFR (model name is S300+).
By now, the regular HTC H3600 is available in French with GPS enabled.
We (I and friends) test it and let you know.

Installation OK... trying GPS now.

Upgrade went very smooth. Re-installed my SPB backup with no problem. Installation sans problème; j'ai pu aussi restaurer mon backup spb.
Now checking GPS is working.... Prochaine étape: test du gps

I have installed this one now but i wanted to go back to the RUU_Trinity_HTC_WWE_1.23.800.2_6275_1.35.00.11_Shi p (LVSW Edition 2007-02-23) but now i can't go back.

[ROM] French snap vue gps lightest

Hi,
Just a quick update for those interested in a light rom. I don't have much time right now to cook, but I've done some times ago a light rom in french.
This rom gives you 43 Mb free of storage after reset.
You can use UPX to reduce program size to get more space. This way, I have quite a lot installed on my device.
French users can use this, english can use the kitchen, and use the same folder and file structure ( by deleting non existing folder and files in the OEMdriver folder and oemapps) to get the same result.
To flash, use customruu program, run it as admin in the same folder as this nbh file. Rename the nbh file to RUUSigned.nbh
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HARDSPL

I'm still trying to get my hands on a shift... I have ordered mine a month ago... and I have not got it ... grrr
I think I will try to buy it elsewhere if only I can find somewhere to trust and have it fast.

Désolé, comme je l'ai dis ailleurs, c'est une rom perso, et j'ai un clavier qwerty.
C'est changeable dans la base de registre.

I don`t think there is much difference with age of reason. I improved my knowledge between this one and the latest age of reason one.
Also, I think I didn't keep it ;-)

indeed age of reason is amazing. i ve got 25 mo of ram with pagepool set to 4. however it s not in french

I've got a SHIFT and, as a lot of people, i've wanted to use it at all !!! ;-)
So, i've tried a lot of roms and... Stoped to the IOO, an of course, not in french. I've tried all the responses done by the different users found on this forum, and, none's working ! :-(
So, can anybody give us a CAB with all the dll's and files to translete our EN SHIFT in a french one ?

There is no cab to change a rom to french. You need to ask the rom creator to make a french version. I doubt I00 has any french version.
I've done one without phone, if you can still find it. I don't have much plan to make a french version from current rom.

1.- Fast very fast rom
2.- Mem, after hardreset and softReset 104
3.- Phone is not activated by default (no big issue)
4.- Error reporting is on (better if you turn off)
5.- Device Information is wrong ("Touch DIamon2 T5353), for some apps this can be a problem, better if you set Device info as Touch HD

7.- Outlook does not autorotate,
I have check on registry, AutoRotation=1
whitelist Opera, Tmail are there, Opera does rotate, Youtube also, Tmail does not
8.- You have include MSVC and cyberon.. why? one is ok
9.- No auto Network config, I had to go to conecting and run the wizard
10.- The bigger problem, Opera shows a white screen the first time Open after every softreset.
steps to reproduce:
1.- SoftReset
2.- Open Opera.
3.- Htc logo... after some seconds a white screen
workaround:
1.- Go Opera menu, select Exit
2.- On popup select cancel
3.- wait and the HTC search screen is there, after this, any other page works.
No Zoom Slider on Opera... Here a cab that fix it

apart from what the previous user posted, the home button doesn't work, but i know there are cabs to fix it, but it would be nice if it was fixed in the rom, would feel more finished.
album and associated menu's are very small (like taken from other resolutions)
Album view of all pictures doesn't quite fit the screen size.

for home button i've tryed the cab but some shortcut in new strat menu doesn't work.... Home buttons go back to manila, not home of manila.... You will be able to install or not the cab!

Start Menu themes?

I have verizons samsung onmia 2 i920 and it has two default themes for the start menu a green and a red one. I have tried searching for others on google but i dont think im searching for the right stuff. Are there any themes out there besides those two? Thanks if anyone can help

There really are no themes for that menu. There are however themes for the Korean Main Menu that you can install with a cab file. The language is english, so you don't have to worry about that. it's basically the same thing but faster.

x1 french rom badly needed (stock or custom)

after a week of googling and searching here in forum and in all the hole web, there is no one link alive for a french rom xperia x1, it seems like a dead product and no one is interesting any more, the only links i've founded is uk-gb, and there is no chance to get a working link for a such rom (fra i mean), a solution i've found is to use seus official updater but it's too complicated, especialy when the set is hard spl.
so please who have that rom to send a working link, and preferable in mediafire if possible will be great.
