I have started using the HTC Home plug-in and have chosen my own clock etc. from the excellent HTC Home Customizer. Everything works fine until I move to landscape mode. It is OK in landscape but I lose part of the right hand side when back in portrait (the scroll bar part)- see red box in image. Any ideas on how to fix this?

That's the scroll bar that should be there and is probably added from the 3rd party app that you are using for your schedule to show on the home page.
PocketBreeze seems to be causing it, when removed it does not happen. Having said that I have no issues when in a normal home screen and this has only started happening today- was OK before with this set up?
Been testing further and it is not PocketBreeze. When I enable 'any' plug-in below the HTC Home I lose the right hand side, even the built'in Calendar plug-in. Any other suggestions to avoid a hard reset?

I was looking at a friends Palm 750w and on the today screen it has a box that you can start typing names or numbers in and as you type it works like the contacts works (reducing the list of contacts down). The only difference is it's on the Today screen which is nice. Does anyone have a plugin for this? Thanks for the help.
PocketBreese 5.4 from sbsh.net allows you to add a tab with contacts on your today screen. There are 8 abc buttons at the bottom of the tab, and when you press a series of blocks it reduces the list to the people with that sequence of letters (sort of like on the HTC Dialer with the on screen number pad). You can try it for free for 14 days, check it out. It Doesn't work with the built in keyboard though.

I think the file I am looking for is: DialLookupPlugin.dll
Does anyone have it?
okay this is a problem that i have found with the kaiser and ifone launcher. and other programs.
it seems that the command for screen rotation with the keyboard and with software screen rotation (with a shortcut, like with HTC home) are different.
when i open my keyboard the icons with ifone change for landscape...
when i use a program to change the screen orientation the icons get messed up
here is a pic.

anyone know how I can emulate the keyboard opening with a software command?
Maybe this will help?

(it's in Tornado thread but it can be used on any device with compact framework 2.0)
sooner in the same thread i found that one of the metod of changing screen orientation is (probably) not sending signal to running applications... maybe that's the reason...
hmm..... okay ill look into that
it does looks like the program thinks its still in portrait mode

Click to collapse
It's the way it's supposed to work, they can't be rotated, at least not without some modifications.
The Home screen does rotate when you put the phone in the dock that barely no one has-.-
That is one of my issues, when its in the dock, like Sony presents its own product

Hi..
I am wondering if anyone can help me with this, the bottom row of icons that comes by default on the phone and are supposed to be fixed (dialer, Google folder, play store and messaging) have somehow came to be exactly behind the Home back and recent apps icons, where as they are supposed to be slightly above them. It is really irritating, I can't seem to be able to change their location.
Why dont you for example change launcher(Nova) and then go in Nova settings-desktop-desktop grid and change number of rows to 4 or 5.

Thanks !! But what is the reason
Hi..
Thanks for the advice, nova launcher is just fine and did it, but it is still strange that the default launcher behaved like this. It would be interesting to know what is the reason.
I have smaller hands and I've found the 'reduced size' mode for one handed operation is extremely useful when holding the phone with one hand. However, the shortcut gesture to turn it on it's weird: you swipe from the border into the center, and then back to the border. While you do this this gets registered on the running app and things can get messed up.
Does anyone know a way to have a different shortcut? Like double press the home key, or something similar..
Thanks!

Enable the settings in the first picture, then you get a hidden sidebar which can be opened. Press on the button and it will automatically make the screen reduced without swiping back and forth.
Thanks! That works
