After fiddling with and dismissing the built in media player on my htc wizard (mda-tmobile) I ended up with TCPMP and converting my large videos using Pocket DIVX Encoder.
I was wondering if anyone has had any success or what are some tips or tweaks that can be used with the program.
There is the BBC series Torchwood on torrentspy:

but I was wondering does anyone know of any other large ppc video depositories? Those ipod videos seem to be all the rage.
what do u use to watch youtube or download those videos?
thanks, eric
Easy ...
Click the IE button, type http://m.youtube.com
The HTC Streaming will pick up the video and played nicely.
can anyone watch those m.youtube.com videos on their Alpine 's?
This is the coolest bit of software about for WM devices.
Convert any dvd avi flv, anything to watch on your mobile.
I made these two vids on my Kaiser and then used SPB DVD to convert and send up to YouTube, check the quality and the framerate, keeping up with that rapid hand movement is difficult!

Anyone else used this software to convert files back from the phone?

Is this possible yet with any of the apps on the market?
I really just want to be able to watch NCAA basketball at my desk.
Depends on the format of the stream. I watch TV live-streams a lot on my G1, with the normal built-in video player.

Is flash available on G1 now? If it is I missed it. NCAA is streaming every game, it would be nice to watch in class.
