Gprs ballon disable? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Every time my Kaiser makes connection to internet by GPRS, there comes a baloon in the screen. Is there a way to disable this?

Found the answer on http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/HTC_Kaiser:
Set GPRS connection to always be on
HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{7C4B7A38-}\Connections\{your ISP name/Conection}\AlwaysOn = 1 (DWORD decimal)

start/setings/sounds and nitificatio. Select 'network conection' and unckeck the option 'display...'

Registry hack to disable proxy perminently?

I've set up "My Work Connection" to connect to the internet via my home wifi connection.
I don't use a proxy to connect, but frequently the device sets a proxy on this connection by itself.
Is there anywhere in the registry that refers to network connections? I would like to disable this "feature"
cheers

Wing, WiFi and http proxies

Folks,
I have a US TMobile Wing, WM6, and I am having problems with WiFi connections that use proxies. At work, we use a corporate HTTP proxy to access the internet.
The wing settings are as follows, WiFi connects to work, My Work Network has the proxy server set in the Advanced tab. I have been looking in the registry of the device (under HKLM\Comm\ConnManager\Providers\{7C4B...}), and as soon as the WiFI connects, the HTTP proxy I set gets marked as a null proxy (type 0). When the WiFi disconnects, the proxy entry in the registry is returned to its original type 1 (HTTP).
Anyone has any idea what I can do to prevent the proxy from being changed by the WiFi application? Is there a way to get hold of the WiFi connection application from a WM5 device to try it out?
Thanks in advance
V

Spb GPRS monitor and autodisconnect

I've used KaiserTweak to autodisconnect my gprs connection within 2 minutes.
It always worked great.
After installing Spb Gprs Monitor (which is on the included cd) the gprs connection stays connected.
What setting I will choose in KaiserTweak the connection doesn't automatically disconnect anymore.
Does someone has the same experience with this combination ?
What can be wrong ?

WiFi and GPRS conflict on my Tytn II I need Help

I am no longer able to connect to the Internet via my home WiFi network. I am able to WiFi connect to the network without any problems, but when I try to use any application that accesses the Internet the phone looks for a GRPS connection. I do not have a data account attached to my sim as I live in Australia, and as far as that sort of thing go, we are a backwater…
The WiFi connection and access was previously working fine until I tried to disable the GPRS from trying to connect, as this would routinely bring up messages informing me that a GPRS connection could not be made. I do not know what settings I have changed but I cannot seem to reverse the situation.
I have soft reset a number of times, I have re-run the connection wizard, etc my current settings are as follows:
WiFi:
Wireless
Configure Wireless Networks –
.MyWirelessNetwork Connected
Configure Wireless Network-
Network Name: MyWirelessNetwork
Connects By: The Internet
This is a hidden network: unchecked
Configure Wireless Authentication-

Enter a name for the connection: Vodafone Internet
Select a Modem: Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G)
* no user name or password, because I don't have the service
Proxy Settings-
The network connects to the internet: checked

My Work Network
No connections have been set up here

Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using: Vodafone Internet Settings
Programs that automatically connect to a Private network should connect using: My Work Network

I do not know if this is all the info need to sort this out, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have done allot of customising and I really don't want to have to a Hard Reset. I can connect through all applications, if I am connected by USB.
Thanks
First you need to make sure your connection is set to use My Work Network as first priority. Next you need to make sure that the WiFi connection connects to WORK NOT the INTERNET. probably your problem, did the same thing on my 8125

Hi there,
Can someone please help by advising me on how to overcome this problem.
If I broadcast my SSID, the device connects fine, but when I stop broadcasting, the device will show that the network is unavailable. I did check the "This is a hidden network" checkbox option, in the settings.
Configure Wireless Network-
Network Name: MyWirelessNetwork
Connects By: Work
This is a hidden network: CHECKED
Configure Wireless Authentication-
Authentication: Open
Data Encryption: WPA2-PSK
The Key is Automatically Provided: unchecked
Network Key: **********

Please help,... many thanks!
Kind regards,
JonD
My device is the HTC TyTn II (Kaiser) running Windows Mobile 6 Professional
