I search a program like Kaiser Notifications... I don't wanna ust it, because for some reason it screws up my cube and it disables the proper behavoir of the green led when the phone is charged completley.
The developer doesn't seem to be able to fix this, so I search an alternative now, someone found something like this?
ps. Kasier Notifications lets the LED's blink when you have a missed call, sms etc.
Did you find anything? I've just upgraded to WM6.1 and the Kaiser Notifications doesn't seem to work anymore I really liked the functionality, I don't know what they are showing now, just seems to blink green and blue constantly!

Hi. Just bought a Kaiser after moving on from my old Hermes.
Seems like there are a few differences in the way the button lights operate. It seems that when a call or SMS/alert comes in the button lights (call end/pickup etc) do not come on - only the screen light does.
Does anyone know how to make these lights come on as well?
Cheers.
No-one else have this problem?
I concur this is true, but I don't know how one would solve it. To me it isn't a problem.
Not a problem here either...
...Just press the OK button under the THUMP WHEEL when you get a call if you need the buttons to light up.

Now this is probably me missing an obvious setting BUT - I liked to set my Hermes to have the keyboard lit up all the time when open. But I've tried various combinations of settings and cannot get the Kaiser's to stay on. In pitch darkness I fumble a bit as it goes off after only a few seconds and anyway I like that blue glowy keyboard even in daylight (not as bright as Hermes though ) Anybody got a setting to make it stay on??

Oooh I like asking newbie questions again

I have posted on this subject both here and at Modaco (See my Front panel lights post) and no one seems to reply so I can only assume that no one can find a solution.
Bump.......
I found this post here about disabling the LEDs on Magician here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=243229 . Like on that device this registry change disables vibrate as well. A strange link... Anyone have a real fix to turn off these annoying LEDs? Ideally a solution would allow disabling them separately, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS on the right and charging, charged, network status etc. on the left. I am probably hoping for way too much but the constant blue, green and yellows are so annoying...
Hi
Yes, see: http://www.modaco.com/Kaiser-Notifications-t259413.html

Almost
Cool, Paul, thanks. However, the location and function of the LEDs on the AT&T model are totally different than the Kaiser (see AT&T users manual if interested). I seemed to be able to switch some LEDs around but could not really figure out what effect the individual controls have. In the end I did use it to simply disable all LEDs and it does leave vibrate enabled (big plus!). I guess I can only eventually hope for a modified version that really matches the AT&T model.
One thing I really miss from my 8125 was the fact that when I had a missed call/email/VM/text, the amber LED would blink twice as fast as the regular green phone status light.
I know there are programs that will change the LED color for notifications on the Kaiser, but I would like to keep the current color configuration.
Does anyone know of a way in increase the blink speed of the amber LED when I have a missed call/email/etc.?
Thanks for any help.
i want to know this too , any1?
thnx
Yes, if you want to break your LED's you can do it

as long as it's faster honey
definitely sounds good to me. missed calls having the delay between flashes decreased, or have it do double flashes. maybe the occasional beep or vibrate depending on setting for missed calls / texts

Well, it will break your LED's so in the end you have NO flashing LED's or sometimes LED's or wrong LED's. So, search, there are a few threads about it. They will be faster, but only IF they work. I haven't seen anyone that has gotten it to work correctly, especially on the Kaiser.
I sure wish there was a good solution to this...on my HTC Apache/6700 whenever I had a notification the LED would be orange and would flash twice as fast. Considering that in certain light conditions it's difficult to tell whether the light is orange or green, having it flash twice as fast is the perfect solution.
true , now we need a solution for this
On my mio a701 i had this feature , it was usefull

Do you or anyone else have a link to instructions on how to change the color? If I could change notifications to red it might be easier to see than orange. Afaik red is only for low battery anyways and my battery is never low. It's not possible to search for a 3-letter string like "LED."
Thanks
kaiser notifications
kaiser notifications
for color leads changing
thats only for colors , not for speeds

led port is different in devices.
can it use at htc touch to change color ?
Is it just me or are there too many blinking lights on this phone? I know it's working so I really don't care that it's talking to the network, or that bluetooth is enabled, I know it is and I really don't need to be reminded.
So, does anyone know of a program or just some registry hacks to turn off all the annoying LEDs??
Thanks!

not sure if it would work, but there's this http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-keylight-v1-03.html
Try this program here http://www.modaco.com/content/Smart...nload-Discussion/259413/Kaiser-Notifications/
I have it installed and it's pretty nice. It disables all the LEDs at once if you want, or you can change the LEDS to display different colors than the standard ones. Couple of quirks, like when you recharge it doesn't show a solid green LED, but that returns if you uninstall. I like the program.
Perfect!
I'll give it a shot!
Thanks a lot!

FYI
Just FYI. LEDs are totally different on AT&T devices. The modaco app does work but there does not appear to be a clear nor 1 to 1 mapping of the programs over rides to the AT&T LEDs. It does work well though to simply turn all LEDs off. I would like to have the charging one still work, but the solution is good enough.
I am looking for a way to configure the LED on my Kaiser, so that p.ex. on a missed call, a new sms/mms or email, the LED flashes differently, in a different color or stays light.
Have tried nueLED which should do that and much more, but without results.
Any thoughts on how to achieve the LED config?
Thanks and rgds

Good luck removing nueLED, it's been stuck on my device since I installed it long ago... Blergh..
KaiserNotification is another one which modifies the LED behavior, but it doesn't change the inherent behavior of the lights, only allows you to modify which lights show..
Such as I don't want the stupid "signal" or "GPS", or "Bluetooth" lights so I disable those. I set missed calls to Red, Missed SMS/MMS to blue, unread emails to Green.
One caveat is that you no longer see charging/charged lights.. I dunno if there's some way around this, but it's not a huge deal for me.
