I have the VX6600 with camera. The verizon guy told me I could send video, but my MMS app won't "see" the video files. I've seen pictures of the (basically) same camera application but it has an extra icon on the bottom right....Mine has Picture / Video / Picture Template...I've seen them with a fourth option MMS Video.
Can anyone tell me how to get this?
Will it work on the BA WC?
I looked on the ftp site CABs section for the BA and found a Multi Media Messaging Cab that was 2.0.0.16 Mine is 2.0.0.20 so I didn't bother....Maybe I need a new camera app....mine is 2.11...
Any suggestions?
Matt
The native Picture and Video viewer doesn't show thumbnail previews anymore. Just blank screen and it gets stuck. Anyone to know why? And what can be done? Thanks in advance.
Hi
I know this has been partly adressed in one or more earlier threads.
In the case of mms picture and the network operator reducing the size there is a solution pretending the Diamond is another device.
In the video mms case this is not the problem. When you attach a mms-captured video file (from the camera) it comes out very small when trying to view the video from the mms application.
When sending or receiving a video the network is not reducing the size of the file but the video comes out small when viewed in the mms application.
If you save the attached file and view it in WMP the size is OK.
My first questiuon is if other users has the same problem end the second is if there is a way to get full size video in the mms arcsoft application.

small video mms
exactly what I was looking for!
Yesterday I was with friends and received an mms with video from another friend.
The guy with NOKIA watch the mms video at full screen, and with my HTC Diamond, when I opened the mms i could only see the the video very small in the screen, even if I clicked full screen (in mms visor aplication) still was a ****ty small sized video.
Any solution for not to get embarrased if front of a Nokia user friend again?
Is there a way to share higher resolution pictures on apps such as Facebook or Twitter from the Camera program? When I take a picture and want to share it I click on the menu button -> Share and select Facebook or Twitter. Problem is the picture that's shared is TINY even though I'm taking a 5MP picture and you can't even make out anything. Is there a setting for this anywhere where I can adjust the resolution it's sent out at?
How are you trying to share the photo? Using AllShare?
All default options such as Google mail, Bluetooth, etc shares complete pic.

Click to collapse
I'm sharing it directly from the Camera app. Ie I take the picture and when it shows the preview there is a Share button. I like the button and a list pops up of ways to share it which includes Facebook and Twitter. The problem I have is that what it uploads is a tiny resolution (320x240) picture that can barely be made out. Is there a way to change the resolution that is uploaded to these sites?
Bump...anyone know how to do this?
Hi guys- I need some assistance with the Sony Xperia Z mobile android phone please-
I am posting here as you are all very knowledgable and you will , i hope, respond!
Regarding video messaging with my Xperia z.
I go into " messaging", then select the "paper clip" option, then click "record video"... The vido will NOT focus and looks BLURRY- there is NO focus available by recording this way (but its the only way that works to send a video MMS).
I need someone to test this for me urgently.
How can you send good quality MMS videos via text MMS and have the ability to be able to focus the screen?
Attaching any video direct though the message option is awful! Can you let me know if the phone should be able to focus or have I got a faulty Xperia?
I would really appreciate of someone from here can advise me as to what the issue is?
Thank you so much
Michelle
