Slide2Unlock sounds? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Ok..I'm new at this...but I finally got the slide2unlock to work on my AT&T Tilt...but I was wondering is there a way to add a sound when you slide to unlock it like the Iphone does?

Do you use Slide2Unlock or S2U2 ?
Never used Slide2Unlock but S2U2 which apparently is an upgrade does have sounds (customisable) when you open and close the keyboard

opening closing keyboard sounds have nothing to do with s2u2. s2u2 does not have a feature for sound when slide your figure across the screen to unlock.

disable slide to unlock while using a program

ok slide to unlock is cool but when im doin somethin like playing quake and set my phone down for a minute, it locks my phone and then freezes everything. is there a setting to add excetions while using certain programs?
Start> Programs> S2U2 (folder)> S2U2 Settings>
there should be options to keep it from locking when the backlight turns off.
Sorry miss read (it was late). You want to disable S2U2 only for certain apps... get it now.
yeah in the registry there is some keys called "expectionexeXX" just add in the program name.

Keyboard Sound Registry (Manilla2D Idea)

Hi,
I am wondering where in the registry is the keyboard sound at and if it is possible to invoke a program rather then the sound itself (changing the file pathway)?
The reason is that Manilla2D screws up our Today screen when the keyboard is opened and I really don't think anyone has a solution for it at the moment.
I purpose that we can assign SecondToday to the keyboard when open and close, so that we have a clean Today for when the keyboard is opened and back to Manilla2D when closed.
Any Thoughts?
Rytt
actually thats a really bright idea i know where the sounds registry is on the kaiser its HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\SlidingSound u need a registry editor to find it obvious i know how to create new sliding sounds but not really how to make it open up a whole app or program . great idea though if uv ever used throttle launcher the landscape mode would be a nice touch to manila 2d. maybe a couple of tweaks here and there might do the job ill actually look in to this

change displaymode in settings from directdraw to raw buffer, save and klick iLock twice to restart s2u2.
Install the latest version of s2u2 (i think 1.35). I have no problem with this application, even if display setting is set to directdraw!
I'm using 1.35 also
However I did have to change the settings to RawBuffer,
Otherwise, any time I tried to unlock the phone in Landscape mode the screen displayed a scrambled image of the slide screen.
However set as RawBuffer I have no problem at all in Landscape
I posted how to change the settings earlier in this thread, since the change to RawBuffer i have had no issues with S2U2
Glad it works without any setting changes for some people tho
Thanks All of you
Hi,
I've installed s2u2 2.24 on my x1, it works like a charm except that on incoming calls the "normal" windows mobile popup is displayed as well,
it's annoying because it covers a part of the s2u2 incoming call screen,
does anyone know how to disable it?

Can I disable the slide pop-up menu & dialer???

Hi, I've been looking for an answer for this for weeks now and all the solutions I found are for a NIKI and not for my Sprint HTC Pro (stock rom) all I need is a way to disable the menu that pop-up when I slide keyboard. This is really annoying and if I'm Opera or in any other program and I slide the keyboard to type something, the dialer(contact search) pop-up!! I have to close it in order to continue what i was doing.
Thanks!!!
are you talking about the SIP...not sure what pop up menu you are talking about when you open the keyboard

Alternative phone dialer with slide to answer/ignore needed. X2 dialer too laggy.

I once saw a thread here, and I think it used the windows mobile slide to answer and slide to ignore.
The answer slider was green
The ignore slider was red, and u slide it horizontally.
If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
I find X2 dialer way too laggy (I am using stock X2), and hard to find contacts. Even the the default WM skin is faster and better.
Anyway, it was a cab file that enabled that skin, and it also changed the keypad a bit better than WM dialer.
Thanks!

It's not from WM built-in but HTC. Search for blackstone, Topaz, or Rhodium dialer.

I just heard from someone that WM 6.5 has slide to answer, but hwo do I activate it?
To be honest, you cannot go wrong with this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154&highlight=dialer
I know you said there is a function in WM 6.5 which has the same thing...but I think this one is the best
The only thing I would love to see changed (and I know exists just can't find it), is the HTC dialer but when during a call has two buttons; a big button for key pad and a big button for end call...but still it's all good and am happy with this one
