I downloaded and installed the duttythroy black 3g comm manager and did a soft reset. Now when I go to my Comm Manager, no buttons are displayed.
Has anyone experienced this before?

try installing not on the storage card but on the device. worked for me

How do i remove Htc Task manager? I installed Wisbar Advance3 and now i have 2 task managers. How do i do this? I'm kinda noob to this and i need some help.

You don't have to remove it, you can just deactivate it.
You just go to Start - Settings - System - Task Manager and select the Button tab. Uncheck all boxes.

By mistake I installed downloaded from a site HTC Task Manager, that looks older version and seems to be not for HD resolution at all(Veery big Icons).
Now I dont know how can I restore or re-install my nice original Task Manager.

I have a strange problem with my 750v, the windows mediaplayer is not working. The icon is there but app wont start. I have tried a factory reset and it works ok, when i restore everything with spb backup it doesnt work. Have tried a number of backups and all are the same.
Have also tried removing some apps
Anyone got any ideas!!!!

Reset. Press PTT Button. click menu, click update library, choose your media then play.
Have just tried that after your suggestion. Still nothing, will not even open using the exe file in the Windows folder.
I just upgraded my Wing to the latest ROM available by TMobile. Now, my comms manager is all screwed up. No icons show and I can't enable/disable the items. I tried installing all of the alternative Comm Managers I could find on this forum, but they all fail during the install saying that the program has "insufficient privileges" to install. Any ideas on what I could try?
wow thats a random error ill try a hard reset if it still doesnt work try the older tmo rom or a cooked rom
You don't have permissions, so change the permissions with the same cabs you use before you HardSPL.

Yup, I reset to factory defaults and then my original Comm Manager works fine. Reinstalled everything ok. However, I still can't install any new Comm Managers. I still get the "insufficient permissions" error. Maybe this is a noob question, but how do I change permissions on a CAB?

It means that you didn't close the CommManager before you tried to install over it. lol
hi, i've installed the HTC Touch 10 Button comm manager with 3G but would like my original comm manager back, but when i try and uninstall the 10 button one it it says it cannot be uninstalled?
i am trying to uninstall it by starting the installation process again from the zip file. if there is another way will someone tell me how please.

when pressing home button its open task manager and press task manger its
crash and restart the phone.
my question is :
1. is there option to reinstall the original task manager?
2. is there option to unistall it and then i will install other app?
3. is ther eoption to control home button that will not open
this task manager?
