Complete nooblooking for direction

Hi Folks,
apologies for this. I have a tytn2 & want to put up to date weather info on the screen.
I've tried using htc home & others but still cannot get the info on the screen.
I'd be grateful if some kind soul would take me under their wing & sort me out, I've been on this for about 2 days now

More than likely your city isn't listed in the HTC Weather section. Use HTC Home Customizer to fix that, and many more things about the HTC Home. If you need more help just shoot me a Private Messege. I dont mind helping.

@Reef - I've tried what you suggested but no change to the screen at all. The original icons appear on the left with no additions

Yep,
tried all the above, sent you a pm.
Everytime I choose the options & expect to see a change on the today screen but nothing happens

Anyone please have a guide for this?

Various questions about TouchFlo3D on Diamond

Hi all,
I'm, like a lot, very excited about the diamond but the new TF3D is leaving me a little worry about productivity, so here are a few questions :
Contacts :
- Does the contact manager also have a list view and a quick search/sort/filter ?
Having around 500 contacts, I really doubt using the thumbnails is very convenient. (also most of them are clients and that I don't have their picture)
- Does the contact picture shows up in full screen on an incoming call?
- Is it possible to assign another default software like the great PocketCM ?
Images
- Do you also have a thumbnails/list view ?
As for contact, if you have a lot pictures it seems hard to use the thumbnail view.
- What kind of options do you get for an image (ex : rotate, delete, set as background, set as contact)
Email and SMS
- Same question : do you get a list view ?
- email : what comes up when you tap on the enveloppe ? PocketOutlook ?
General
- does the device makes a click sound when orientating and how loud is it ?
- is the 900mA battery enough ?
- How do you come out of the TF3D to Windows ?
- Can you customise Home button to launch custome applications ?

The diamond isn't arrived yet.
According to the information I knew
contact list in TouchFlow 3D was just for 15 shortcut of your contacts
by setting it manually.
and it offers basic picture for those without pics.
no full screen callerID
but it's bigger than original WM was.
you could also find some of the answer in the manual (PDF) in other post.

Help needed with appearance of phone

Guys, I'm very much a newbie to all this and have a few questions which I was hoping for definitive answers to (I've searched the threads and there seems to be some ambiguity)
1) Can the call history and calendar options under the clock be removed/changed? If so how? (some people say "no" but one talks about changing some kind of setting!!)
2)Has anyone got a way to put the black HTC theme onto the O2 branded ignito without loosing some of the text (black text on black background on some tabs)....WITHOUT FLASHING....(I think the answer to this is "no" at the moment but if someone could remedy it I would be grateful. I did try it using info on the forums, but aswell as being unable to see some text, it also seemed to slow the phone response time down to a ridiculously slow level.
3)An idea which I think all newbies would appreciate is a really simple guide as to what are the ESSENTIAL tweaks (if any) everyone should make to their phone. I don't mean an endless list, but simply which ones will increase performance, save battery power etc.
Other than the above points, I have to say that I am 100% happy with my new phone. I've never had a WM type phone before and I cannot understand how I managed without one before. I am making plans to learn the basics of how it all works, then maybe have a go at writing some apps etc (If anyone knows of an 'idiots guide' to the whole WM XDA thing please let me know.

Hi Matt.
I'm a fairly novice newbie too - had a T-Mobile compavt IV with the white/pink T-Mobile branding which I did not like at all - and decided to Flash after exhaustive forum research etc .... and managed it with a huge sigh of relief.
Anyway, still would be apprehensive about flashing if I had to do it again
But have been playing around with a few visual tweaks - so here's my 2p's worth - hope it helps.
1) No idea on this one - sorry
2) Found a theme that should allow you to use a cool (in my opinion of course) Black theme - http://sharebee.com/9071012f details with in this forum link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=419799&highlight=black+diamond+theme&page=5
first you need an app called Diamond TF3D Config - cab file attached
Then download the Black Diamond Theme file. Run Diamond TF3D Config, click on "Appearence" tab, and under select theme, click on path and double click the folder where you downloaded the Black Diamond Theme file then click on "ok". Now in the box under "Select Theme", click on the down arrow button on the right and select Black Diamond Theme. Then click on save at the bottom of the page. This asks that you reboot, do so and you should have a classy looking Black Diamond Theme
3) Diamond TF3D Config also has some good tweaks that should increase performance - but unfortunately battery life will always be a huge drawback with the Diamond ... my solution was to get a second battery and a desktop charger that charges the phone and the spare battery at the same time - and I carry a charged spare whenever I go out - search e-bay for the battery and charger.

Hi,
I've recently had my Tytn11 repaired by htc & they have re-installed windows. My problem is: prior to that my clock digits looked like a type face where the numbers folded down to change (the best description I can give at the mo), but now I have the digital clock type face (default) which I really don't like. Does anyone know where I can get the skin I had before from?

Error HTC Diamond

Good morning,
I'm new here and would like to help. My HTC is catching the first startup screen appears where the name of the device and some information on the bottom screen below. Information 1.09.25.23 type R / G 52.51.25.260 D / 2 2.10.54 and not leave this screen. Could anyone help me solve this problem.
