As I've not used any other WM6 os device, I'm not too sure whether it's the Kaiser/Vario III etc...but when in the programs menu (start>programs) all of them seem to be in a random order, instead of alphabetical.
Is there any way to sort this out?
Regards,
So far i know it´s only on Vario III, and there is a registry tweak:
HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Shell/StartMenu and delete the key "Order".
Softreset and everthing is fine!

May be the experts can put the programs in cab form for people to try.
The phone program in WM5 would be great for the WM2003SE users. Anything else?
Not sure on the TyTN II, but my Tilt came with WM6 sounds (menu clicks etc.). Disabled. I've tried applying the Hermes WM6 cab without success.
Is there something similar here? My searching has come up empty (but perhaps I have bad eyesight)...
TIA

Click to collapse
You tried using the WM6 sound cab or you tried just putting a wm6 os on your tilt?
I'm trying to load the a WM6 Sound Scheme CAB (from the Hermes), which worked fine there.
No dice on getting menu clicks to sound on the Tilt though...
I used a cab file which i found a while back.
Cant seem to find the thread which it was posted in before tho , so ill upload it here.
After installing , go to start - settings - sound and notifications , select the notifications tab and just hit ok after that.
And the sounds should work.
I'm looking to see if anybody that has one of the AT&T Tilt or 8525 has a .cab or installer of the AT&T Push To Talk app. I would like to load it on my Treo 750 running WM6.
I've done a fair bit of searching and cannot find the PTT app on its own. Thanks.
I do have tilt, however I cant locate the ptt.cab, I'll be happy to send it if you can help me where to look for.
You know I'm not 100% sure on this. I believe the ROM has to be dumped. Can anybody help on this?
I'd be interested to get PTT working on the Treo.
I installed the "vp3g_ptt_enable_v2" .cab from the Hermes forum. Installed, but sometimes won't launch, and always gives the message "PTT is disabled while roaming. "
I think a good idea would to get the PTT .cab out of a Kaiser's Extended ROM and see what registry edits need to be made to get it to work.
Hi,
I have a Qtek 9090 and yesterday I upgrade it from wm2003 to wm5 at the beginning i have some problemas because when i start the contacts program it close inmediatly i use the no/yes/yes method to arrange it, but finally i upgrade to wm6 everything runs perfect but the contacts program have the same problem i had with wm5, i tried soft reset, hard reset, the no/yes/yes method and it doesn't run. I google on the forum but there are no answers to problems like mine.
What can i do?
Thanks for all and sorry for my english
PD: WM6 is awsome ^
try searching this forum for a diff contacts manager .
I had a problem and this sorted it .
Sorry cant remember the program .my xda has broke at moment so unable to look at it
PocketCM works quite well. Here you go.
Thanks, i used the contact manager in wm5 but in wm6 it is closed too, i tried photo contacts pro too, i can open it but when i want to add a contact (because the contacts list is empty) nothing happens. If i go back to wm5 it works fine. Could it be that the contacts ink is corrupt?
actually... i googled yours too
and you have a specific problem there.
tell us what WM and ROM version are you using then maybe
the cook/chef of that ROM can answer your question.

I will start first by saing sorry because I know this question is asked many times before but after I checked out the thread at one point i get lost.
The point is that i have bought a MDA vario IV from T-mobile and I really don't like the touchflo colours / theme.
What I'm looking for is a way to (preferably in Dutch) change the theme of the t-mobile colours, the standard htc black will be good enough.
If somebody could help me out here it would be great, with all these threes (read threads) I can see the forrest anymore.
With kind regards,
Hans
Ok, thats easy:
First turn of TouchFLO in Settings>Home>Elements.
Download this file: http://www.mediafire.com/?rzbcz1dzwnc and save it to your memory card.
Open the cab-file with file explorer and install. After a soft reset (usually preformed by installer automatically) you will find the original black TouchFLO when you activate TouchFLO in settings>home>elements.
With a MDA Vario the t-mobile or t-mobile2 theme in settings>home> may work for you - but there is still magenta in it. Search for htcblack.tsk to get the original black taskbar.
Hans, Did it work and is everything in dutch when this cab is installed?
I can tell you that everything is in german on my Vario and Diamond. Just give it a try. Have a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475611
