Radio update question

Before a radio rom update you do not need to hard reset the device. But afterwards the device will hard-reset itself. Thus please make sure you have backup the device before updating the radio rom.

Will Radio Rom 1.06.02 Upgrade work for XDAIIs in Australia
I purchasec my XDAIIs in Australia.
This is my current Device Information
ROM Version 1.12.62 WWE
ROM Date 10.04/04
Radio Version 1.02.00
Protocol Version 1337.32
ExtRom Version 1.12.925
If I upgrade from 1.02.00 Radio Rom to 1.06.02 with the version you have will this work for my XDAIIs here in Australia or are there country specific Radio Rom versions???

I don't see why not. I am in Canada and that radio update was French I believe. So I would suspect it would work fine in Australia.
I think GSM is GSM is GSM everywhere, hehe.

Qtek Radio Rom 02.07.10 (GER)... on Cingular Wireless (USA)

I just have a question according to this new Release from Qtek. Since i flashed my device from Cingular standard ROM to the Qtek latest ROM (GER) i asking myself if i have to use a different RADIO ROM version. It's only about the signal strength for Cingular (USA) which works probably different than the RADIO at Germany.
My Radio just works but i guess the signal could be better?
Are these RADIO ROMS the same???
Does anyone have a hint for me or could give me some advice?

As most people I've a lot of instability with my Qtek9100
I actualy upgrade Radio rom to 2.47.11 but with no result
If I upgrade to T-Mobile 2.26 ROM do you think it will be better and firstly is it compatible with Europeen specification ?? Azerty keyboard ?? ... ??
Or is there anythink other to do ??

Radio rom upgrade/downgrade are not OS Rom dependent,you can upgrade/downgrade to any Radio Rom independent of any OS version you are using and yes! they are made to work almost universal,not any specific region restricted,you can try out any Radio Rom and check which works best for you

I have a vodafone (germany) ROM: FInixNOver 3.0.2, phone with currently Raido Rom 1.29.00.01.
I dont have any problems with the reception but the gps lock is very slow.
Any advice ?
What rom should (I use I need GPS) ?

Radio 1.46.00.11/30.11

Hi,
I suggest the 1.46.30.11. Is the best one in terms of battery and signalpower.
If you use the searchfunction you will find al lot of posts about Radio roms.

I have the same problem and I have it with hpl files too. I've tried to update to 1.46 and to 1.50 but I have always the same problem. Any idea of what's happening?

Big Problem in Radio used in Asia...

I have this big problem in using particular radio when I am now in
Southeast Asia particularly in the Philippines.
Any suggestions what radio I can use?
It will be a big help for me...

I'm using PDA Ultimate V18.
Hard SPL 3.29.

are you using at7t tilt?
where can I download PDA Ulitmate V18

I use 1.70.19.09 and am in Indonesia. No issue.
The default Radio of L26's TF3D V4 (I think it's 1.65.29.25) is also good
My original OEM ROM with 1.65.16.25 works ok too.

Where did you find that? It's not showing in the Ultimate Radio Thread or the Kaiser ROM/Radio chart here at XDA-Dev. How do you find it goes as far as GPS is concerned?
