Go to settings, today, htc home and click under weather to remove it from your today screen.
If the above doesn't work there is a reg tweak as I used it. Search the forum for something like htc home customization.

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get a clock plugin that looks the same as the clock in the THC homescreen plugin?
I dont want to use all the tabs that the HTC plugin comes with, I use Spb mobile shell for that, but I really want that HTC clock on a tab.
Or is it possible to deactivate the part with the tabs in HTC homescreen? i know you can manage the tabs with HTC Home Customizer, but even if you remove all! tabs using it, you still end up with one tab. And as its the only one, its useless and just take up a lot of space on the screen.
thanks in advance,
modano
you can remove all the tabs, so you can just disable the ones that aren't the "Home" tab which will result in just the clock.
I was curious about this as well. Unchecking all the tabs through either the today settings or advanced configuration utility just defaults it to display all the tabs. There must be one tab selected or they all show up. If anyone knows a reg tweak or another program that will just allow the large clock it would be greatly appreciated!

hmm... are you sure about this wyldstallyns2589?
I just tried to only have the "Home" tab visible through HTC Home Customizer" instead of as i said with all! removed, but i still get the actual tab bar beneath(just the bar, no tabs) the sms/email notification bar.
i knew that's what it'd do, i misread your post apparently, sorry.
thats alright, thanks though!
Yes, I did a search... even saw some screen caps of the Clock in Red...
Thanks in advance for the help.
You need the HTC Home Customizer
I used http://www.pocketemu.com/hhc-info.html, a good tool and a lot of choice. Hope it helps
Thanks
HUGE help... Thanks Guys!
You can not resize the clock...not even with HTC Home Customizer. You can only change the font style and color
themes?
Home Customizer works great... except the program bombs out if you try to change the themes.... anyone else get this error?
Also, I tried the "Wamu's Matrix" clock and it changed my Email, Txt and Callers icon's ... and cant seem to get them back to the original (I will have to destroy this phone if there's a Neo/Keanu icon on it!)
I downloaded and installed the HTC Home Customizer played with changed a few things but nothing works nothing changes, am I missing something ? do I need to install anything else ?

You cant remove the HTC Today clock just like that. Try HTC Homeplugin and add a dialtab or two.
Hey guys, lots of great packages here but the one thing I really want to change/get rid off is those crappy blocks which are used in the touch flow background.
You know the ones, the crappy ones which fade into the horizon that look like something from Tron
They look terrible and it seems you can only replace the home area with a background image.
Do any of the packages here allow you to change this?

guess the only way to do that is to change the theme using touch flo 3d config
anyone have a solution for this. as much as i like the blocks i want to change me to the same wall paper as my home page.
Please, i want to change that ugly wallpaper too... Touch flow 3d config "themes change" don't work for that.
I agree. Since ive changed to the Official HTC WWE 1.93 rom with .5 radio (better signal now, thanks for that!) I cannot change the background at all. In SETTINGS and TODAY the background image has been selected by clicking on BROWSE yet nothing is displayed.

You CAN change the Wallpaper on the homescreen by SLIDING to the SETTINGS Tab on the TF3D.
There is an option Wallpaper. This will change the Wallpaper on the HOMESCREEN only (unfortunately) and not on the other tabs
The BACK GROUND with in the Settings and Today menu doesn't apply to the wallpaper.
All the best.

and you can get a few wallpapers from here

I have changed the home page wallpaper. This thread referes to the Blocks on the other pages. I want them to be the same as the home page.

I find it hard to believe no one has made an app to make the wallpaper apply to all tabs....why did HTC make it like this? Weird....
Im suprised as well. Changing the home page is nice, but i would like the rest of my tabs to look ince too.
still nothing?
can this really be that complex?
Have patience. There are people who are preparing Manilla editors.

Just because you have no clue about how to do this doesn't meant it's a good idea to insult peoples intelligence by implying its simple and they should have done it already. The reason it's not been done yet is not because theres no want, but because devs must first understand fully how Manilla operates, it's not exactly documented in a nice fancy API.

The time is displayed on the upper right corner of the main home screen not to mention on the lock screen...need another clock?
I'd be interested too in this, something like the HTC Sense one on Android which shows the time and the weather?
I too missing that Big Analog clock and weather update on home screen after updating to WP7 from 6.5 on my HTC Hd2.
Anyways we can get that on WP7 ????
you could use htc hub ...

That hub is actually not really a nice solution.
The lack of "pimping" ability actually brought me back to WinMo (as well as the fact that there´s still no decent navigation software officially available for WP7, an epic fail of MS, they should have pushed that - I´ll need it for my summer vacation).
The newer WinMo ROMs are also fast and stable, plus I can personalize as much as I want. Happy I´m back to my clocks.
