Turn off request to access internet?

I have the ATT Tilt and I'm sick of it asking me if it's ok to connect to the internet everytime I run an app that uses it. I tried to find something to turn it off but have been unsuccessful. Any ideas?
Thanks!
What program are you using that is asking?
Google Maps, Citi Mobile, Opera Mini, Gmail app, umm, basically anything that isn't an ATT prog.

This is the notifications. Go to Start->Settings->Personal->Sounds & Notifications->Notifications.
Check "Connection Established" and unchecked Display Message on screen. This should resolve the popup.
No not the pop-up, the actual screen that says it's an untrusted application, might cost airtime blah blah. On my D807 one of the options is to allow and only ask once but here i only have to ask next session or next time (as in everytime it tries to connect while i'm using it). Not a huge deal but it's pretty inconvenient...
These sound like java apps.
Yep, those are all java
You say all non-AT&T apps. That's not true. Its only Java appsthat have this...
To do that, you have to do some hex editing...Search for a thread for the Opera Mini browser. THere are step-by-step instructions there to get rid of the prompts, at least in that program...
EDIT: Here's a post I put together to explain how to do this, as simply as it can be explained...

You may not have helped the OP, but this is what I thought he was asking and I needed the same thing. THANKS! I got so sick of hitting "Hide" every time it re-establishes itself.
Thanks much!

Netflix??

Sorry, wasn't sure inder which thread to post, however, does anyone know hoe to get the Netflix app? Zune software can't find it for me, marketplace does not have it either.
strange!!!!!!
because I got one from the marketplace, but its written as T-mobile netflix, so I guess it would only for t-mobile user, not sure though
i got it in marketplace also.
when you go to the market place click on apps> entertainment> free. its the second one there. i just downloaded mine on to my phone.
Is there a XAP available?
There was a .xap of Netflix I found on some other thread but I won't bother linking to it as when I had downloaded and sideloaded it before I had live activated, it wouldn't go past a Netflix splashscreen. You probably have to download legitly from marketplace cause it checks for a license :/
Sent from my {htc HD2/7} using Board Express
i was wondering if anyone was having audio syncing problems with netflix ? when im watching a movie the audio is way off

funny, before seeing this post the only thing i tested on netflix was Ip Man. But just tried something else and the audio seems fine for me. right on time.
netflix...
works on my hd2...the vid quality isn't as crisp as say "the transformers" that came on the phone, but it works...could be the connections, a setting or something...the audio is perfect...it does "acquire a license" prior to loading...i couldn't get this to load on android so this is a huge step forward...
i guess im the only one having this issue wonder why

Error streaming
I installed the T-Mobile netflix app and it loads and browses my account.
However, when I try to stream anything I get:
"Connection Problem
Error Code: P8156
A connection problem is preventing playback.
If your phone is connected to your computer, disconnect your phone or close Zune.
If the problem persists, please call Netflix at 866-579-7113"
I get the same error both under wifi and data connection. I have not actived live services. Could that be the problem?

[Q] Google Play edition lockscreen

Hello,
I would like to get the Google Play edition lockscreen on my not-gpe HTC One because I think it's looking better than the stock one. Here is a picture of it so you can see what I am talking about: androidtopnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/e9a1f__htc-one-vs-google-play-edition-aa-gpe-lockscreen.jpg
Do you know how could I get it without switching to the Google Play edition?
Thank you for your help!

Are you on a sense based rom?
If yes, you can remove the HtcLockscreen.apk and see if this work.
On which version of android are you?
It worked!! Thank you very much!
But I still have a problem, since this lock screen is not supposed to be used with sense, I can't configure it trough the settings menu. So I can't enable Widgets and I also do not have the little camera icon wich allows to bypass lock screen to take a picture faster.
Do you know how I can add these things? I am running on ARHD 4.4

either run the following command from an adb shell or using terminal on the device itself
Code:
am start -n com.google.android.setupwizard/.SetupWizardTestActivity;
follow through the setup wizard and when you're done, you can add widgets to the lockscreen.
I tried what you said (btw thank you for your fast answer) but the Setup Wizard itself does not work. I get an error message "Setup Wizard stopped working". Do you see what is wrong with that?
One more thing, when I receive a call, I have to unlock the google unlocker screen, and then I can acces the stock HTC "call handler" in order to answer the call. How can I fix this? Thanks

As i know, atm, there isn't a solution for this.
I tried with a Terminal app on the phone, and then on adb shell, but it's always the same thing "Setup Wizard stopped working". I don't know if it has a link with it, but both shell gave me that error before launching the apk:
WARNING: linker: app_process has text relocations. This is wasting memory and is a security risk. Please fix.

I would also be interested in a way to have the kitkat notification menu which also looks better. Am I supposed to delete another htc apk, something like HTCNotificationMenu.apk ?
Does someone know anything about that? I still have that problem. Thanks

Hello all,
I seem to getting random pop-up adds and I have no clue why, what's triggering them or how to stop them. Anyone else having this issue? If yes, how did you stop it?

Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2190753 AdAway is the best. This is probably an older build but once installed, just update it. It has to be SuperUser allowed and you should be rooted for it to work.
Hope this helps!

"Could not access Facebook" popup

As the title says, I've just updated to Oreo and am getting this annoying popup:
View attachment 4475568
I was not getting it before. I've got Facebook disabled, but even with it enabled and signed in the popup still comes up periodically.
Anyone else seen this?
