[Q] Help required to create an APK.

Hi all,
I have an fonts.zip containing a bunch of fonts I love.
Can somebosy help me create an apk file out of it?
The problem is if I install it thru recovery, I dont see those fonts on the Display->Fonts window.

Do you mean as flipfonts? I dont think you are able to install them all at once, you will need to do them in separate apks, use this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=745345

[Q] Change Files directly in FFU Image?

Hi there,
since it is very easy to flash a Nokia ROM with "Nokia Care Suite" i wanted to ask if it's possible to edit the FFU directly to change some files and also get rid of all those unnessary language files that waste space?
I mounted the file thourgh ImgMount and looked at the rest of the file with binwalk and other tools. Interesting

I believe the file is signed and will not flash if you modify it, but I don't actually have a Nokia phone to test.

[Q] NEED help with .tar file!!!!

hi i new to this forum.sorry if my english is bad
i have some questions.first ill explain what i did and want to doo, and here i need help.
i have an galaxy s gt i9000 and i flashed it to the latest firmware XXJW4.than i rooted it.but now its not rooted.
i downlaode some app system remover, so i disabled/deleted some app taht i dont need or arent needed at'all.
than i googled how to open tar file, used magic iso and opend it.deleted few files from factoryfs.rfs.
now my questios.
1.is it safe to delet these file (dialer, voice search,now buddies, some test files and so on..)
2.can i still flash the firmware without these files and without no bugs to see.
3.im not an expert on this, i need someone to create a tar file using those files that i have on my pc
so i can flash my galaxy.
4.can i replace the kernel to an another one and if so which one can i use.
these files are in my folder now:
-boot.bin
-cache.rfs
-factoryfs.rfs <<< this is the one i oped and deleted files
-modem.bin
-param.lfs
-sbl.bin
-zImage.

Unpack & repack of huawei rom

Hi,
I wanted to mod original firmware.
I managed to extract rom using HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.9.5 & then simg2img, but then i want to mod files inside img archive and repack it to state that allows to install it on phone.
Any good guides or ideas how i can do it?

Hi, by now i unpacked, mounted on linux, removed files i needed to remove, and again packed using: img2simg binary. Do You think it won't work?
I wanted to degoogle system file. Will it fail on some hack check or sth?

You can't simply modify an update file, thinking it will flash perfectly. It's logic here
