As we all did, we paid high dollar price for this phone. I will pay a reasonable price to keep this high dollar electronic from harms way.
Please reply from experience. Also, if its not too much, please send a link so I can check it out and read reviews about it.
Thanks a again.
There's a whole section on kaiser accessories, and there are plenty of case reviews in there. Check it out:

Piel Frama case all the ways mate! they are class, expensive but of very high quality
I've been using Krusell cases for quite some time now. They continue to impress me with their quality. I picked this one up through Amazon for around $40...

The last one I had with my Wizard still appeared to be brand new when I sold the phone three years later.
perfect case
i just recently bought a case for my tilt from a verizon store. It is a horizontal case with a flap on top that closes with magnets. I think it is by far the nicest case i have seen thus far and the best part... it was only $20. The clip swivels on the back so you can have it horizontal or vertical on your belt. The verizon part number is suspchm2. It is a universal case made of black quality leather/pleather with white stitching. I love it.

Does anyone have this case? Can't seem to find any real reviews online.
I'm looking for a close up pic or "actual" real life photo.
Thanks for any inputs =)

Not a popular case i see....=/
From what I can tell, it's still pretty new. Though I'm considering it myself. I'm really curious if it is just plastic or if it has a soft lining material to prevent scratches. Not knowing that is what has kept me from pulling the trigger.
Edit: Watched some videos of the iPhone version of the case. Looks like it is all polycarbonate. That's a no go for me, I'd like something soft around the Tab.
to be perfectly honest with you, i could probobly buy 2 cases better than that on ebay for the price of that one ($50.00 USD?!?!). Seriously, search it up. you wont be disappointed. my friend who works at a cell phone shop near my home has a scorch case, and its falling apart.
heres a couple i found.
with kickstand:

3.http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACK-Trident-A...ccessories&hash=item27bbe5ed3a#ht_2128wt_1025
The trident case is my personal favorite. its almost bulletproof. i have it on my galaxy vibrant and on my tablet.
all of the cases mentioned above costs either half, or less than half of the scorch case your looking at.
The incipio is too bulky for my liking. I don't need such superior case protection.
This one:

Looks pretty nice expect i wish it was offered in all blk so those ugly lines are less visible...
Might still try the scosche switchback if I find a good price on it.
I picked up a Streak in the recent sell off and am loving it - have upgraded to Streakdroid 2.3 (really easy with a bit of background reading even for someone coming to Android for the first time). I picked up the Otterbox commuter case but never really got on with it - I prefer leather flip cases so decided to look what was out there apart from the many derivations of the "PU leather" cases you can see on ebay.
Morpeth Mobiles are selling off their stock of PDair cases for the Streak at only £5 delivered (UK) rather than the usual £30+ that these seem to go for. I think the Tuff Luv case generally seems to get a better reception (and is a little cheaper at RRP) but I decided to try one of these for a fiver and am happy enough with it (its the flip style rather than the book style folio that I think PDair also do).
Anyway, if anyone wants to buy one you will have to google as I'm a new user and can't post outside links (before anyone asks, I have no relationship with Morpeth Mobiles whatsoever other than as a purchaser of this case). I don't know how many they have but they are still showing up at £5 this morning

Welcome to the forums, you have been registered for 4 years, and posted 4 years later?
Nevermind, thanks for the heads up, i have bought one.
Not sure if it matters but in the interests of full disclosure, I had a Dell Axim PDA back in the day which I got rid of and then did not rediscover the forums until I got my streak.

Glad you can join us on the twilght of the Dell Streak. Shame the price was £199, its hardly the £75 they were selling them for in the states at the end of life. There again, Dell support is so crap, they would have to pay me to take a another piece of their kit on.
Its a great phone, but mine had a dead earpiece from new. Absolute rubbish, whatever happened to quality control.
You buy a nice shiny new phone, then they give you someone elses if it becomes faulty.

Review PDAir Flip Case
I ordered this case and it arrived today, so i will give it a quick review.
I have used a PDAir case before for my Sony-Ericsson P1i, but that time it was a aluminium case. The quality of this leather case is very nice, well stitched.
It has a magnetic catch that holds the flap securely closed, 3 pockets in the flap for credit cards, business cards or memory cards. There are cutouts for the PDMI port, power and camera buttons,
The top sides of the device are not protected so you have total access to volume buttons and headphone jack. The case fits tightly, i doubt you could fit the phone with a extended battery installed, might be possible but i doubt it. There are 5 holes punched in the back to allow sound out of the speaker and cut outs for the 3 capacitative buttons, microphone and screen, earpiece and front facing camera and sensor.
To use the main camera you have to pull the flap right back to allow it to be used.
There is no belt clip, so it will have to go in a pocket, or a bag.
Generally fits nice and keeps the phones slim profile, but apart from protecting the screen and back of the device, the sides are very exposed and personally i prefer my Otterbox Defender case, which although chunky provides my delicate streak allround protection apart from the screen, which is protected when in the holster if its put in with the screen facing inwards.
I have attached some photos for those considering this case
Overall, at £4.99 its a reasonable case but i will be sticking with my Otterbox.
The Streak can be bought from Morgan Computers for £199.95 sim free, as for the PDAir case it's great at a fiver (if it was in stock) but not worth the original £30~
Wish they still had these as looks nice but thanks for flagging it up for us maybe they'll get more
I Can not decide what case to choose, SENA one, but it's to thin and I hate the leather pattern, or go for good ol' PDair,
they have than one http://www.pdair.com/index.php/eboo...google-nexus-7-vertical-pouch-type-black.html with multiple stitching color to chose from.
I asked them what the inner side part is made of, and they told me
"Thanks for your enquiry. ALL our Genuine PDair Leather Case is made of Premium Korea Cowhide leather and inner part is pvc. The inner part is a little hard to support the case but won’t get scratchiness on the phone."
Now PVC can also mean vinyl, maybe they mean it's hard to bend but soft to touch? anyway post your answers, still think to go with PDair as the shipping is free, SENA wat's 30$ to ship to Israel and it's ridiculously pricier, LOL not that I'm one to complain, as I ordered some acessories from EXPANSYS UK (extended battery w/cover, and desktop multimedia dock for my GNEX, but they was cheaper back then in comparison to eBay):silly:
If you want to pay $50 for a pouch you can buy for $5 then by all means do ok it's leather on the outside but it's damned thin leather. I've had a couple of PDair cases for phones and they are well enough made but vastly overpriced for what you get.
If you want to pay that kind of money for real leather, have a search of this forum. Someone posted a couple of months ago about some hand made stuff that was real quality.

Well to describe my problem, I want to use it with the dock, when it out, I will not say they overpriced, I use SGP Crumena for my Galaxy Nexus, that cost me 30$, and it worth the money, from all the crap I seen on eBay, there also MOFi soft pouches, but I only zip type, I want one like a sack with strap, and the big size sold on taobao or resellers, and I afraid to deal with them, SENA looks cheap with that ugly pattern and 30$ for shipping? the PDair exist many years so I know what I pay for, what else can you recommend?
^^ etsy.com
Thousands of quality, handmade sleeves ranging from cheap 12$ cloth ones to superb leather ones. Take a look. Just about everything there is handmade by people who do this in their homes for a living.

Thanks, very creative stuff, but I want something from a brand like the SENA or PDair, they have another one;
http://www.pdair.com/index.php/eboo...-asus-google-nexus-7-business-type-black.html
Yeah I know the price is like 2 smartphone cases, but it will be used for good, I think I even maybe sell the SGP of my GNEX to make some profit,
and get a one from PDair to make a pair, they have same case for NOTE (II), so maybe they can make me a smaller one
but keep up with the comments, I just couldn't find any reviews of the tablet cases they sell.
It's a trap
Hello everyone,
Ive been looking through this accessory thread ever since I owned my note 2 trying desperately to get rid of the crappy Body Glove case I was "borrowing" from Tmobile. Well, my three other cases came today, and after testing them all, I will tell you what I settled with.
First things first:
The Body Glove: I don't have any pictures of this crappy case, but you don't need any. Apparently I found out today after returning my version of the BG that they have OTHER styles which are far superior then the one that I had. But probably still pretty bad. This is the beginners case that you settle on if you have no idea how to surf the WWW. Obviously if you are reading this, you would never settle for this case, especially at the outrageous $30+ price tag.
Now for the 3 puppies that arrived today. I purchased these all on amazon.com.
The Seidio Active Case:
My initial thoughts are that this would be the case I would be settling with, especially after the youtube reviews... But after putting it on, and upon comparison, I realized that this case offers minimal protection as far as a drop would be concerned. It feels extremely cheap with the white plastic, and I had no idea that this is what I was purchasing. Not only that, but it has the same issue as the body glove - Slippery bastard. Sure the sides are rubber, but its an extremely soft smooth rubber that doesnt "Stick" if you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong, this is a pretty nice looking case, and I like the kickstand...but it's not for me. They also have other very vivid colors. As far as price goes, this case is a rip off at $30.35. Almost as bad as the body glove, but slightly cheaper and prettier.
The Ballistics Case:
This is the case that I read reviews about and heard is supposed to offer some of the best protection outside of Otterbox Defender case. Not to mention it looks good. Well, I opened this bad boy up, and noticed a few things right away. The rubber shell is not snug at all. When you snap on the plastic, it gets a little more snug, but I guarantee this case will fall apart everytime you drop your phone. This already had me worried. Another issue is the damn sides of the case. ITS CHEAP 100% SLIP-GUARANTEE Plastic! Damnit. I had really high hopes for this case.
If this doesn't already kill all your hopes and dreams, it makes your phone much more gargantuan. However, I digress, when it comes to drop protection, even though you'll be picking up the two pieces of your case + your phone, I would feel confident that the majority of impact from the initial drop would be absorbed into this case, before it falls apart. Price to protection value is decent at $23 dollars. Note that this case is cheaper now at $19 which increases the appeal of this case if you have a decent grip of your phone at all times.
The final case is the Boxwave OA3 Resolute:
So check this out, I only found this case on accident thanks to Slickdeals.net. I read reviews about boxwave's case for other phones such as the SIII, and I was prepared to be disappointed with this case. But alas, none of those previous problems exist and ironically, I am keeping this case even though its MUCH cheaper than all the other cases I've tried. This case almost looks identical in design to the Ballistics, which is what I think the company was going for. However, it is only one piece of hardened rubber. It fits very snug, and feels great in the hand. It doesn't make the phone as huge as the ballistics case, and I still feel confident that this case will offer a decent amount of drop protection. Another bonus is that it has a kickstand... but don't count on it for very long, because its the cheapest feeling kickstand you'll probably ever see in your life. I can almost bet money that it'll break with regular usage. So enjoy it while it lasts. You definitely cannot beat this case for the price as it was only $10.00 total. Not to mention its all black, no cheap looking white plastic.
I have attached all the photos I took. Sorry I don't have photos of the case on the phone, as I had taken the pictures with the note 2
Hope you found this post helpful.

Thanks!
Thanks for for the pictures. I personally am still waiting on the seidio convert case for the extended battery, I enjoyed the one I had on my thunderbolt. The case I have on my note 2 is the $12 (now $8.95) rugged case from ebay. The case uses the same style of synthetic rubber that the seido case uses and prevents me from dropping the phone. What are you going to do with those left over cases?
Good review, and I do agree with you on every point. While waiting for my UAG case, I'm using right now $7 ebay case (first one in my review link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36730711&highlight=rugged+dual+layer#post36730711) - which is a copy of Seidio Active and also similar to Otterbox Commuter. Commuter has a higher quality inner rubber lining, without a doubt. But Active is exactly the same stuff, or I should say that ebay cheap knockoff is exactly the same design and quality as Active
Btw, the Boxwave one you can get from ebay shipped for about $7. Its not their original design, just a generic ebay case they purchase in bulk from China and sell conveniently for local us shippment.
Thanks for the compliments. I am returning the other cases to amazon for free since I said that they are faulty, lol.
Useful review but I disagree on the ballistics case after going through other reviews and more than enough websites I found the ballistics case was the indeed the case which had the protection. The box said 8-9ft drop so I tested it with a leap faith and the case phone stayed together with no damage and didn't come apart. Also you say slippery wrong again I can apply minimum pressure using my little finger and thumb dry and wet with no slippage. The case is made from decent materials not the stuff you would get from a 5 dollar case which I have been through several. The case offers better screen protection from laying flat on a surface screen down than any case with the added corner protection. The back is non slip also and makes good resting on a slanted surface say a car roof, bonnet or dash board. And with a year warrantee you can't get far wrong. In general its makes the whole overall grip better and nice to the touch. Feels very manly to and with a simplistic look. With the plastic support the case holds firmly all round the note. Down side only two colours black and white, little flimsy top and bottom of screen. Price is fair for the case was 22.99 off eBay stores, cheaper if you get a deal on it.
Amazon gives a 4.5/5 overall for 33 reviews that's pretty good like.

Hey guys, since i have tried the original case as well as some 3rd party cases i was not happy about the results. My main concern was how thick and heavy the nexus 7 got after applying the original case or one of those "smart" cover fakes as well as that i wanted to still be able to feel that rubberized back.
So i went to a shop which sells all kind of cloths like leather, jeans, etc. I bought myself some leather and thread went home and took out my sewing maschine. sewing it to have a perfect fit takes about 10 - 15 minutes in total depending on skill level. I still have some leather remaining for a total of maybe another 3 cases - or i might just do another few for my mobile phone or some other devices. In fact, it'll be very cheap. for a total of 4 cases the leather is about 5 euro, and the thread will last for many cases and also just a few euro. It's very simple but it's still impressing.
I've added attachment to show the end result, as well as how it fits in tightly plus as a bonus inside that store you can see the choice of materials. So if someone is happy putting up 15 minutes work he can do it for himself.
Have fun!
Edit: This is like the first prototype, therefor on the first picture you can see 2 wholes for sticking in needles. I do not recommend using this method to find out the proper size.
That is a nice looking sleeve you made for yourself. I have no sewing talent myself so I wont be attempting it.
I thought the same way which is why I ended up buying a sleeve for myself off Amazon to protect it in transport. Sure it's no actual case on the tablet but I couldn't stand the bulk and this was much more pleasant looking.
All I have on it is a screen protector and a vinyl skin on the battery cover.
P.S An idea you could possibly include on your next iteration of it is a pocket for headphones...that is if you use any with it.

Hey, thanks for your reply. Yeah i am thinking about doing several cases for several devices / things. My headphones both have cases when bought already ( Bose QC15 and MIE2i ) but i think about doing some for mobile phones, maybe camera lenses, even business cards, I'll see. I just came from that shop again, they gave me some white leather to work with free of charge.
I guess anyone can do with manual labor as well but it will take more time obviously. Anyone else can ask for grandma's assistance
Here is another one, this time for the galaxy s3 lte... the cost of the bag are approximatly 0,10 cents. Picked up the white leather for free just because i talk a bit with the woman who's been working at that store yesterday which is enough for a few more bags, the thread is not expensive. I can just recommend... If i can do that, anyone can do. My craftmanship skills are quite low. There are really nice materials out there which could give you a unique case for your phone/tablet/device so go for it!
