Question about HTC Home + Cube

Is there any way to keep the HTC Home "Favorite People" tab intact after installing the cube? Whenever I install the cube, the favorite people tab is lost for the contact manager built into the cube. I was wondering if it was possible to have both at the same time.

I usually don't reply like this...but you need to search.
I looked for this exact issue last night and there were about 20 threads with the answer.

Today Big clock

What cab is the Big Clock I see on e all the today screens called and where can I get it for my at&t tilt ??

You can try this: Its called HTC home plugin. if you have vga screen there is a thread for it here on this forum. Just search htc home vga

Dont mean to hijack the thread but I would like to know as well, I like the plug in but the clock is to big any way to make it smaller ?

God these newbies are relentless... You answer one question (one that could have been solved via search or more over just READING the thread with the pictures of the clock you like. Instead of just looking at the pictures) and you get several follow up posts that could be answered in the same fashion...
Its like answering them just enables their lazy attitude.
Enough rant.
UNINSTALL IT. If you don't know how to do that. READ YOUR MANUAL.
As for the other one, search. Hell, just click through some menus.
And the other, does not get smaller (that I know of) with advanced modification to the plug-in.

I agree...but also disagree...
Agree: newbies/noobs should always read before they ask, use google, use search, rtfm, etc.
Disagree: just ignore the stupid questions, and if you have time, answer them (with a hint to why it's stupid, they might...possibly...eventually...learn! )...
Last but not least: google/search for HHC (HTC Home Customizer), the best HTC Home editor (AFAIK) which allows you to change the font, buttons, etc.

I'm relatively new to flashing and trying different ROMs but with the help of this forum, I think im getting there.....slowly at least.
That was until I installed this application for the big clock on the today screen, im runnning a winodws mobile 6.1 ROM and just assumed (for some reason) this would work.
After installation of the big clock mod, my phone just keeps resetting its self, over and over.
I'm hoping that i can fix the problem by flashing a new ROM, however the phone wont stay on long enough for me to sync it then run the ROM utility.
Is there a way of putting the phone in boot loader then running the flash application from the computer?

A few questions

Hi guys, i need some help and i tried to search but i dont know what to put
I need some help with my tilt, it seems to run very slow with duttys wm6.1 and many times it will freeze doing things or say out of memory
I also cant get htc audio manager to be my default player. I installed htc home organizer and it still wont make it default.
oh and ive been wondering if im in a program how can i get out of it and minimize it. Also ive noticed in the settings there was a setting for pushing the "x" button to end an app whats the button? thanks

Someone else said it here, delete your call history once inawhile-- helps tremendously. And the X your looking for should be in your top right hand corner. I recommend SPD and the kaiser tweek software to anyone needing more options.

Touch pro Program tab on bottom of touch screen question.

Is there a way to delete the preset icons that come with the phone on this tab. 9 of the 18 tabs available are taken up by programs I'll never use or am not even going to install they came with the phone. But when I try to delete them from that tab it shows a padlock by them and it won't let you. I have searched in the phone folders and can't find where they are to delete them.. I'm hoping someone else has already figured this out..
I'm getting pretty good with this phone and I consider myself pretty computer stupid.. But you guys on here are absolutely great and I have learned so much..

Ok yeah.. I found it in something I already had installed.. Ok but maybe this post will help others find the answer easier since I didn't find anything on it when searching..
OH yeah the answer... The diamond TF3D config has an option for that section to delete them.. I remember when I installed this on my touch pro it had an error and I had to delete the tweaks folder from the program folder.

so ive been searching but i have no idea what to do ive searched but came up with nothing could some plz help and also are there also other skins for windows media player thanks in advance

I think you got the splash screens. total noob question though.
i can help wit the windows media player skins, i have a couple good ones to recommend for the touch pro/ fuze. I've gotta get off though so i'll post those tomorrow or later in the weekend if i get the chance.
If you go looking for them on your own remember that it has to be vga to work on a touch pro

ok so are you gonna call me a noob or help ive been to the splash screen forum but i didnt get any full instructions for a first timer help would be cook thanks in advance and tell me about those skins

I know it's not in english but it's the only place i could find it in vga for you. The theme will still keep your media player completely in english, it's actually from another XDA member.
scroll down and download the one that says vga
In case you don't know how to install (i didn't):
-put the zip file on your phone, either by micro sd or through active sync.
-go to file explorer and open it.
-Press menu and you should have an option similar to 'extract to' or 'unzip to'
-extract in device-program files-windows media player
-run windows media player, go to menu-options...-skins
-it'll search then you can press next for your skin. press ok when you've selected the new one
-slide out the keyboard and do the same thing. close your keyboard and you're good to go.
I'm really sorry about calling you a noob, i was just joking around. Let me know if you have any problems. i made the instructions super easy to follow in case someone else needs help.

Instructions for changing a splash screen, it looks complicated. I'll see if i can stumble through it and post my results. gotta go for now though.
