Hi,
How can i play .mpeg videos on my kaiser?
Thanks
Jason
Using any of the many available Video players... I recommend you read this
CorePlayer or TCPMP. Make sure you get the AAC codec.
tcpmp has done the job good.
I tried changing to avi and they are jurkey in win media player?
thanks

tcpmp plays mpg, avi etc. I think there's also a plugin for media player to make it play mpg too.
TCPMP isn't wares. Get it here from there website.
Hi,
Did you solve the problem? I got the same problem and need to solve it.
Thanks
Hector
Is it possible ?
I have searched the forum and the web and I haven't been able to get to the bottom of this:
Is there an app/plugin that works which allows the playback of .flv files on the kaiser ?
I've tried a few converters, the tcpmp plugin, and I still can't play the .flv file
Many thanks for any help.
tcpmp with flv plugin does work. it's how it plays videos off of youtube. it for sure plays those flvs.

Thanks for the reply, I can get youtube running fine but TCPMP just won't play a certain .flv file.
My bad - mods, feel free to delete this thread
Can you post a link to the flv that isnt playing?
I've searched around in the forums and the wiki and can't find a codec to play videos encoded to avi in Windows Media. I installed wmvcodec.dll, and the video will sort of play in TCPMP, but it's seriously choppy. And WM still says it's unsupported. Is there any plugin for Windows Media player?

I use the Core player and it plays avi format flawlessly.
There is a setting in TCPMP, I think its in options, its called Raw Frame Buffer, enable this and it should work. Hope this helps.
Hello All,
I just installed "[PDACorner] Ultimate-X2.V11 -23017" ROM on my Kaiser.
I tried to play a "Avi" video to test if the Divx codec is installed, but is not working.
So, could someone indicate me whitch codec is working with WM6.5 plz ?
If possible I don"t need DivX player, just the codec.
Tanks in advance for your help !
don't believe wmp support the usage of codecs I would suggest another player like core player or TCPMP
Ok I'll try TCPMP.
Thanks for your help !
Try tcpmp recomp v3 cab

Ok, just installed the TCPMP in this thread. Plays videos but very choppy. What settings do I have to change to make a xvid file play smoothly. Using the HTC CA drivers....
Try smart movie player for playing divX, Xvid, MP4 files
Anybody knows about a Media player which can be used as an alternative to the Windows Media player for PPC...
I have tried the TCPMP and Core Player...but both of them are having lags while playing videos...
Well, i think it's time to confirm that the built-in Windows Media Player is still the best Media Player for X1...
Well for music, PocketMusic is the best. Has a lot of options and customizability, and tons of equalizer effects to choose from and doesn't lag at all.
For video, Core Player is probably the best, however it doesn't lag for me at all so it depends on what version you're using. I'm using the latest btw.
Or, you can give SmartMovie player a try. Other than that, TCPMP is the other option which you've already tried.......so ya there aren't much you can choose from for Windows Mobile unfortunately.
Oh and if you want to play .avi videos then try Divx Mobile player too. But that sucks.

you can convert the vidio first to mp4 or to 3gp first with xilisoft or Super converter video... in desktop computer...
yes, but I would also like to do direct streaming from my dreambox to my Xperia, in this case the player should be already installed on the phone...
