HTC Camera Send Via Email goes to SMS - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Whenever I select send Via Email it defaults to sms message with no image attached instead of my email account...
Is there a setting to change to correct this?

Change 'email' options for a Photo from SMS to Email

Greets,
As an attempt to increase charges (no doubt), AT&T has the Tilt set to default to "Send via SMS" when you click the email icon after taking a picture.
Does anyone know how to change this to the other offered option "Send via Email"
Thanks!

Why can't I create and send new email?

For some reason when I tap on 'new' to create a new email message, nothing happens (i.e. there is no response at all). I am able to receive messages. It has only just started doing this, so i wonder if i have somehow disabled this function. Any advice will be gratefully received.
Hi, I have the same problem. It is also not possible to send a response for a mail (entering text is OK but pressing the "Send"-Button does not send, it just "beeps" and nothing happens.)
So it is only possible to send a Mail to a contact in the adressbook (sending to another mail address is only this way: create a mail with an existing contact and then change the "To:" to the right mail).
This misbehavior depends on the Mail-Account: with my Exchange its NOT working, with Hotmail its OK (both on the same PDA). I think it a switch in the registry? (Policies?)
Since now I have no solution (but I have not searched very deeply).

Can't add mail address (or SMS number) to "old" contact

Hi
I'm trying to add a mail address from a received mail to an "old" contact; when I tap on the address i can choose between "Send email" or "Save in contacts", but the save options let me just save it as a NEW contact.
Same thing happens when I try to add a number from an SMS to an old contact...
Is this a bug? Is there a fix?
Thanks!!!!
Does it work if you turn off TF3D?
Hi!
Annoys me as well, I guess that this is one of the great features that the designers over at HTC came up with.
Actually you can do it for SMSs from "unknown" numbers, by tapping the SMS (from a unsigned number) in the TouchFlo SMS tab you will get a contact page for that phone number. If you then slide the tab selector left to the contact card icon, you can hit save at the right soft button. Then the contacts list will open and you can choose an existing contact to add the number to, and even choose what kind of number this is (work, office, private, etc)
The problem is that if you hit an email from the TouchFlo email tab the regular winmo messages application is launched instead of the TouchFlo messages application used for SMS.
The ideal situation would be that emails where handled in the same way as SMSs

Click to collapse
paalkr, you are right, in this way you can save sms number to existing contact... Thanks, it's a good workaround!
I hope someone will find a "fix" for email addressess, too....

Cyanogen6 SMS autoconverting to MMS

I have a contact with her phone number plugged into the mobile slot. When I went to place a direct message homepage shortcut, it puts her address as xxxxx messaging dot sprintpcs dot com and wants it to send as an MMS, instead of just her mobile number and SMS. Why is it doing this? How do I fix it? Thanks.
