Thanks advance

H:mm:ss

This is my firts WM device so ...
Hello guys! there's anyone know a way to delete the icon battery on the top bar? I have installed batti 2.2 so now I dont need this battery icon (that sometimes appear and disappear while I use the pda).
thanks
stefano
what a pity! No tweaks, right (for now)?
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock
value="1" Time
value="2" Date
value="3" Date and Time
value="0" Nothing
When "3" also only Time
When key is not there, create it.
hello! thank you for your help but I had already test this tweak but without any effect. I had put the 3 value but nothing.
tnx
stefano
option "3" date and time doesn/t work
Create key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell]
"TBOpt"=hex:\
13,00,00,00
Works fine on diamond.
13 does give date and time (other values do different things I forget - search!)
Set date format in settings/system/region, else there's another key you can edit to set your own custom format:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides]
"SSDte"="dd/MM"
"SDate"="."
"SCrcy"="R"
"IDate"="1"
"LCID"=dword:00000809
"S2359"="pm"
"S1159"="am"
Requires a reset to see changes - but diamond reset is pretty fast and u pretty much have to do it every day anyway...
PS: I set d.M as my format, but see a square (or part) after the month. Can reduce with spaces after the M, but it's not great. Any ideas on how to get a clean d/M, or d.M, or non truncated d-MMM format?
PPS: Search the forum if you don't know how to use a registry editor...
Thank you! Please, there's a value to remove the icon battery without substitute it with the date and hours?
bye!!!
stefano
Hi,
I use Resco Reg editor and I just want to know how you create that :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell]
"TBOpt"=hex:\
13,00,00,00
If I create it as a key, i will have [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\TBOpt]
and then, how I create the value 13,00,00,00
Is it a DWORD key on hex ?
It doesn't work for me sorry
You can use Advanced config for this. Search for this program and there will be an option to choose what you want(clock, date, time etc).

Use Advanced Config. 2.2 works with Diamond

thanks

Are there any small .cabs that remove the battery icon and replace it with the time? I would rather not install advance config that can change 200 things for this one little tweak.
i would like to see the battery/clock/sound icons out there.
SO silly to have a sound tray icon...since you access it with hard button.
Battery, there is much bette options than the default one.
Clock, well...

Sorry, i wasnt clear.
I would like to see the battery icon removed from the tray too, aswell the sound and clock icons.
Ive been searching this for weeks, it seems impossible to remove them.
How do I make the clock in display digital time instead of AM/PM mode?
Can't find the setting anywhere!
Using SwiftBLs rom v 5.5...
Start > Settings > System > Regional Settings and choose your region.
Changing regional settings requires a softreset afterwards.

i think you intended to say:
Start > Settings > System > Regional Settings > Time > Time Style
..
That method didn't work for me .. I ended up changing the registry setting
HKLM\nls\overrides\ITime
Thanks a bunch, works for me!!
Easy method is just to go into the time section of regional settings and simply delete the AM & PM option.

Force of habit for me, can't stand the am/pm malarky so I just delete the text option on all things that have it. It's not that brute force tbh, just remove the text from the drop down box and if you ever want it back then just type it back in
I've got a problem with my clock in TF now too - and I've not installed any new software or tweaked anything.
All of a sudden it's in 24hr (which I want) but without a leading zero. Also when I go 'back home' very briefly I see an AM/PM symbol on the zero before it flips over to the current time.
I've searched everywhere, reset my phone, regional settings from something else back to UK, looked in the tls registry entry but can't find anything that will put it back to the HH:mm format.
Any ideas? Will reinstalling TF work do you think?
i think it is once again:
Start > Settings > System > Regional Settings > Time > Time Style (see post #3)
try and let us know..
Unfortunately this doesn't work either as there is only one setting there. I've even tried reinstalling Manila.
It's bizarre. I get HH:mm after 12pm but in the morning it's showing as H:mm rather than HH:mm - plus there is a small AM on the first digit. All as if Manila thinks it should show 12hr time in the AM and then 24hr time in the PM!
It's telling the time so I suppose it's no biggie but it's not what I'm used to and I don't know why it's just suddenly doing it and I can't fix it.
The clock on the taskbar is correct which makes it even more weird.
Anyone know of any other reg settings to force a fix?
hello, i dont see the option to change the clock to am/pm and 12 or 24 hour format, can someone tell me how i can change these settings? i am using the swift bl 7.5 rom.
thanks
Go into your settings and then over to your system tab. From here open up your regional settings. There should be a drop-down where you can select your region, my guess is yours is set to something other then where you are. If your region is right but not the clock then in that same menu go to the "Time" tab. Here you can change the "Time style:" it shows an example at the top so you can see your changes.
Hope this helps!
Not sure as to why, but I'm missing the am/pm symbols for the alarm in TF3D and also the clock and Alarms and Tasks. All I see is 6:30 when I should see 6:30AM
Can anyone assist?
I have a HTC Touch Diamond
The Regional settings are set for English (Australia) and the Time tab shows the symbols set.
Hi frigit try this.
Start-->Settings-->System(Tab)-->Regional settings-->Time(Tab)
Change the Time style to hh:mm:ss:tt (Select it from the drop down menu).

Unfortunately I didn't have the :tt in my selection.
I have hard reset the device since and all is good again.
Thanks anyway. Paul
