Need help please!
Just flashed to Dutty's rom (great by the way) and I lost the battery software that used to run at the top of the window and display the battery life as a green bar - can't rememeber what it was called.
Anybody got the name or have the link please?
i know a vistahide and a batti, is that wat u were looking for?
you can always use spb phone suite... it provides a visual bar on top of your phones screen that tell you the amount of bettery that you have left at all times

I don't think this is exactly what you are looking for but it's very close to it.
From what I recall Dutty has never used this in the past, but I like to install it from time to time It also gives you the ability to customize the colors / etc.
Download Batti 2.1

Mate that looks great, I dont suppose you could do me a huge favour and either upload it to this site or email it to me? I am having major issues with 4shared here in China (curse the great firewall, I found out that is indeed an issue with 4shared here, and proxies let me get into the lists, and even get to the dl screen but clicking on dl will only take me back to the dl screen... sigh) thanks mate...

I know there is a similar thread in xda-developers > Wizard, but I can't create any shortcut. Maybe the settings for TyTN II and Wizard are difference?
Can anyone please provide codes for:
1. Power Off
2. Wifi On/Off
3. Bluetooth On/Off
4. Data Connection On/Off <-- I presume this is to disconnect GPRS/EDGE/3G, no?
Thanks in advance...

the wifi and bt appearing in the tray in that photo are from a different program. the battery meter program that is running also controls the wifi and bt icons to appear in tray.

Is TrayLaunch able to display WiFi and Bluetooth in tray?

Yes, try making a shortcut with this - I found it last night and it worls for me on my Tilt:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2331152#post2331152
I am after a battery icon that shows the percentage left of the battery, instead of just the basic 3-4 bar battery.
iv done several searches looking under all the forums and the closest i found is in the link below. This is perfect for me however i cant get it to work. The icon stays at 90% then doesnt chnage, even though my battery level drops down. Idealy id liek to try and find a fix for this, but alternatively, does anyone else have any suggestions?
cheer guys
What im currently using now (but doesnt work):

thanks for the reply, that is almost what im after, i like the format of it but id prefer it to be in the task bar, so i can see it when im using other programs. Id also be happier with a cleaner look, having just the one battery bar.

QuickMenu shows the percentage in the task bar. It is obviously a Start Menu replacement as well....but the battery percentage is a great additional feature (I'm not sure you can keep it showing while in other programs, however). You can find it here:

Many thanks Denco, not what i was after but just as good! Took 30mins for me to find a coour combination that i was happy with but once found, i cant see myself getting rid of it.
Idealy id like a % as well to replace the stock battery icon, if anyone can recommend any more, but if not ill just stick with the batti program.
cheers guys
Try spb shell. it has a nice icon.

I found this battery meter built in to the Viet ROM and can't find a stand-alone cab for it. Anyone know where I can find it and how to put it in my fave ROM?

Just noticed that the link I gave is not exactly the same, there is no "bar" on the right side of the battery meter (see pic below).
I installed it anyway on my Kaiser, looks and work great .

Thanks for the find, this one works ok. Have you noticed it changes the E for edge to 3G? Weird thing to build in...
Man I wish I spoke Vietnamese, lol
Actually I noticed something else! I noticed it installed in fact new layouts for the call history as well as for the PIN dialpad :O ! It looks nice but was unexpected.
THe icon change, I would have to look into it .

I had to uninstall this app, it changed way to many things other than just the battery meter. Still on the search for the one in the Viet ROM.
Anyone? Bueller?

Maybe it's my device, but when I try to uninstall this, it freezes. I launch the uninstall process, I see the top bar disappearing as it's being removed, then freezes. After soft reset, the top bar is still.
EDIT: ok, after removing the BatteryLevel.exe from the startup folder, softreseting, then trying to uninstall, it worked because the .exe was not in use anymore
Hi guys,
I was going to post this in general, but as it is possible development I thought it may best be suited here. Sorry if it isn't!!
Anyway, I'm no developer so I don't know if this is even possible, hence why I thought I'd throw it out there.
What I was thinking is, as a user of the flip clock and also using Stericson lock screen, I have the time in full view of my home screen / lock screen all the time.
The fact it is in the top right corner is of no use to me really. It's also apparent that when you have several icons in the notification bar (especially when plugged in on USB) it gets crowded and tends to hide alot of them.
What is the feasibilty of removing / hiding the clock from the notification bar, and moving the 3g/wifi/bt/battery icons into the right hand corner?
Would this actually be possible? I know this wouldn't suit all users but some people may like this as it would give more space for other icons to appear there.
Any Devs care to elaborate on this?
Thanks.
If you wanted to hide the time, you could just make it transparent using Ohsaka's colorChange.jar. Of course, that wouldn't help with the crowded icons.
I like the time in the right corner, useful for when I'm browsing the web on a break from work.
Or try alternative home app: Home++

}
Sadly this has been asked quite a few times, problem is they wont answer even though people want it.
I guess for now home++ is a good alternative - though I do like using advanced launcher, so removing it properly from the notification bar would be better.
I guess it's just one of them things - although an official yes or no it can't be done would be nice from a dev?!
Thanks.

which on are you using ?
Sorry, I wasn't real sure where to put this. The screen shot pretty much says it all.
I'm using the theme here, for MIUI, yet this happens on all the popular dark themes I've tried. It's very hard to see the gray text containing address info against the gray background with the popup results menu in Google Navigation.
Is there an easy fix for this? Thanks.

I've always had the same problem. Never found a solution except to use light themes.

LOL??? thanks for pointing this out.. i just spotted this in my theme and totally missed it.. so im going to work on this right away!!
Certainly, it's like this on a lot of themes, even the default on.
I know it's part of the framework, but I don't know what specifically needs to edited to change this without affecting the rest of the theme.
Have you tried this:
(I'm using a French rom, so all the terms I'm going to use may be not the good ones in English..)
Go to Settings, Applications Manager, search and tap on Google Navigation in your apps list, then de-activate Compatibility Mode.. It worked for me with some unreadable white on white texts..
If it doesn't work (sorry about it, first.. ), just re-activate Compatibility Mode (just in case)
