Is there anyway to help prevent this? When I open up the keyboard the scroll bar disappears in portrait mode, but there is a blank space in the HTC home stuff where it once was..
I removed some stuff from the home screen to eliminate the scroll bar but I don't like not having some of those things on the front...

Hello everyone
Is there any way to scroll through the icons at the bottom of the home screen quickly, without having to flick through one at a time? It takes forever to get from Home to Weather or Settings because each time you scroll along one icon the main display changes.
I guesss basically I want scroll through the icons without each tab being displayed as you go.
Cheers for any help with this.
put your finger on the bottom menu and slide to the correct item.
look at a demo on coolsmartphone.com our youtube. it goes pretty fast
Aha, so I was missing something. Excellent, thanks very much!
Put your finger on the "Selector"/cube/active icon of the mode selector bar, then you'll notice that the screen will have an overlay of the currently selected mode, now you can slide your finger to the mode you want.
I'm having a small problem with the Auto-Rotation in GO Launcher.
Portrait... http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g88/Kopi22/SC20110518-135218.png
When turning phone sideways, it looks like this http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g88/Kopi22/SC20110518-135435.png
Until I hit the HOME button...where the dock icons will then shift to the side

And then when I go back to Portrait, they are overlapping... http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g88/Kopi22/SC20110518-135356.png
Until I hit the HOME button again....where it will return to normal. Does anyone else experience this? Is there any way to have the dock icons stay along the bottom in portrait, and move to along the right in landscape, so essentially they do not move location but just rotate (I want images 1 and 3 without having to press the home button all the time).
How do I get the back home recent bar at the bottom of the screen to rotate as well when I flip to landscape it stays on the side... I've seen pictures of it on the bottom with apex launcher I just can't get my dock and back home recent buttons to rotate as well
ok so apparently thats tablet behavior. tablets have the ability to switch to a phone config (soft keys stay top or bottom and rotate in place) which would be the behavior i described.... so basically it would have to be done at the source code level. bummer..... it really should be an option imo =\
Hi, i have a lumia 535, this phone doesn´t have fisical navigation bar (back, windows, search) it does have a virtual/sofware one, it also auto hides sometimes in some apps, my problem is in some apps/games when it autohides it leaves a black space where it should be the nav bar and in some game/app it doesn´t let you see what is behind it, and you have to play with some elements of the game under this "black space" and in other it also moves the touch areas of some elements of the game/app (li.e.: you have to touch 2 cm down and 2 cm right to click certain button) its like the app is trying to be full screen but this balck space or the navbar doesnt let you see beneath it, any reg tweak or solution to this matter?
Thanks
No
Just wait for the windows 10 mobile final version.
I found that disabling autohide in the Settings, then swiping up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the nav bar and swiping up again to hide it takes care of the screen problem. I wouldn't touch WM10 with someone else's phone for now. The supposed 'final' release will be too buggy.
Hi, got my T5 recently and met with some strange and annoying problems with regards to orientation/rotation with apps such as Tradingview and Investing.com, which somehow insists the bottom side of the portrait mode be the side where the power button is located. Though I doubt the problem is with the apps. Anyone saw the same and have any solution/suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Homescreen rotation stuck on portrait mode.
Had a problem with the homescreen which stuck at portrait mode even the auto-rotate function was turned on (blue in task bar and on in screen settings). Was really annoying, suddenly all other apps rotate but not the home screen ?
Found out there is a dedicated setting for the home screen, hold your finger on the homescreen background for a couple of seconds and the screen will give you access to widgets, wallpapers and a setting button which leads to another homescreen setting which also have a auto-rotate switch. That was somehow turned off in my case. After switching it back on it works again. Apps and Homescreen rotation fixed.
