on QTEK2020i during the installation the pocket crashed
and what do i have to do now to bring it back Please Help
May Be u reccomend utilites for repairing my qtek ?

before that during switching on showed the picture saying "Loading ..."

I have Qtek 2020i and I had like your problem before and while installing the same ROM from sonofon, but be happy, it is not a big deal, I just removed the battery until it erased everything left at the device (backup battery was completly empty) then I replaced the battery and reconnected the device to sync while power cable is plugged in and I tried to reinstall the same ROm and it is working find and perfect with me, I like the sonofon rom, it is really nice!!!
if you had further trouble dont hesitate to ask !

I am assuming that Arrival has sorted the problem out by now but for future reference of others there is a simple way out.
Press and hold the following 3 buttons at the same time for about 3 seconds: Power, Action (D-Pad) and reset.
This puts the device into bootloader mode which is basically like DOS for the Alpine.
If that doesn't work, remove the battery until the backup battery runs out, place it back and put the device into bootlader mode as described above. The device can then be upgraded by connecting to the computer and running the update program.
Less crashing problems are likely if the device is connected to the mains at the same time.

Bluetooth license expired??

Hi all,
I tried to use the blueooth for the first time in ages and I get an error message saying the license has expired, then the bluetooth is turned off automatically.
I found some earlier articles about this problem, and they suggested a solution was to install the widcomm bluetooth driver, which the author posted as an attachment. I installed this and reset the device, but when I click on the bluetooth icon I just get the same error message as before.
In case my customised ExtROM was the problem, I installed the standard O2 1.11.169 ExtROM, but the problem is still there. This is wierd because I have used bluetooth under that ExtROM version successfully in the past!
Can anyone help me???

I've been a BlueAngel (SX66-Cingular Variant) user since a long time. It'd been working great. I re-flashed the original rom several times with the new BA updates/ roms from XDA's Ftp site and they all worked like charm.
ISSUE:

Lately (since a month), I am experiencing some issues with it. It seems to be always searching for Network/ Service, all the time. An ongoing call will get disconnected. And very frequently i'll see a NO SERVICE notification. The NETWORK INDICATOR in the task bar will go to a High Strength and then Searching status. It is usually taking more than 30 mins to search the operator for me to make/ recieve any call. People trying to reach me inform me that my phone is Not Reacheable.
I've reflashed it to different BA ROM combinations but it didn't help.
I dont want to assume that it is a Hardware failure as i didnt do anything which can cause a damage to the instrument.

My Blueangel Back Cover Shows that this device is PH20B, but the ROM indicates that it is a PH20B1 Device. (This device is actually without a camera) Why do i see a difference here?

My SX66 is now Dead!! Pls. Help!
Desperate to fix this problem, i pulled the battery to power drain the BlueAngel. I even went a step ahead and shorted all the power connectors (which connect to battery) of the device with help of a metal needle. I placed the battery back and now the set is dead!!
I just can't believe this. How can i get this device powered on now??

Try to plug into the power supply and see if it work. Let the phone charge for a while if it doesnt power up when u plug in. Try this and see if it work.
As for the "phone keep searching for operator" problem, I have the same problem too. Whenever I go underground and the phone lost signal, it will take forever to recover the signal. What you can do is to go to "Setting"->"Phone"->"Network" tab and select "Find Network" and the signal should recover.. Note to set the "Network selection" to automatic. I had encountered problem when I set it to manual where the phone will show good signal but call cannot come in.

Thanks a million Bioskoh! Your power supply suggestion got this device back to life.
I am still facing the network/ radio issue with this device. I already have Automatic set under the network selection settings. I am facing this issue everywhere... Even where the signal should be very strong. I dont know what else to do . Any other suggestion/s are welcome..

I have installed Radio 1.13.10 with 1.42 (T-Mob/NL), but this issue still persists. This device has become more slower and lazy in the past few months.
I am still mad at the phone function of this device. Once half of the battery is consumed, It wont even allow me to make/ recieve any call.
Someone on this forum please help. Is there any New ROM update from Siemens (>1.33 Rom) please?
Also friends, how is the stability of WM 2k5 on this device? Would you recommend installing it just to see if it fixes this issue?
One Last Question: What is the BEST ROM combination for this device? Also any customized Ext ROM with all the patches/ fixes included. Links to the location are greatly appreciated.

For WM03 on SX66, you can use the ROM from the SX66 Standardization Project website. Link: http://home.comcast.net/~sx66-blueangel/
As for WM05, I am using the Helmi WM05 AKU3.5 Ver1.4 ROM. It is quite stable. You can go to this website for detail: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Helmi
You will need to have some patience and follow the upgrade procedure to make everything work good. Remember to read/search the forum for answers.

cryptocoder, a number of us have similar issues, but so far it has been restricted to Orange UK users.
Do you find that when you attempt to make an outgoing call that you get three short beeps at least 50% of the time? And that incoming calls either go to answerphone after a delay, or alternatively they fail with a number out-of-service tone?
Finally, do you have issues sending txt messages soon after a failed call. I get the message "The phone is not ready, please try again in 15 sec".

Hi All.
I just purchase a new unlocked HTC P3600 (1.15.405.5 is the verision that the device came with from the store) here in Canada.
This unit came from the store with the GPS icon available in SETTINGS/CONNECTION connections.
I have spent the last week reading, and reading, and rereading all you guys great posts on the new "cooked" ROM updates provided for FREE from some of the members/developers here, and the hints and tips for usability! Thank you all for this site and forum!
Now, into my question.
With the verision of the ROM that I have, is the GPS activated? I do see the GPS icon in the I have installed both google maps and live search which both software seem to have GPS functionality built in. I would like to get these programs to work with my built in GPS. However, it is a bit confussing when reading through all the posts on GPS to figure out what are my GPS settings that I should use from this particular ROM verision? I spent 2 hours trying every single combination of GPS program port (COM0-9 and GPD1-9) and GPS hardware port (COM0-9), with out success with either of the two softwares (live search or google maps). Both give an 'can't communicate with GPS' errors, with any of the combination settings.
FYI- I turned on the 'manage GPS automatically' when trying these comb settings. Each time I tried a different setting, I didn't do a soft reset.. just changed the GPS settings.. and then went back into one of the two program mentioined above and tried.. each time it fails with 'can't commicate with GPS'.
Question: do I have to do a softreset everytime I change the GPS settings? AGain, the device manual has NO documention on how to setup the GPS settings.. and the forums is somewhat confusing as I don't know if these methods are ROM specific or not.
Is there any utility that I can use to see if my GPS is activated/working under my current ROM?
Secondly, if my ROM is too old and I need an updated verision.. I have a small problem here too...
I downloaded LVSW ROM: 20070418_RUU_Trinity_LVSW_WWE_1.25.0.8_GPS_AKU3.5.2, which from what I have been reading here.. is a exellent ROM! But I have problems installing it...
My battery is 100% charged.. I am using my USB cable with my laptop (so powerfailure won't 'brick' my phone) running Win XP SP2 with ActiveSynch 4.5.
I make the activesch connection fine.. I lauch the .exe from the ROM.. i get past step 3 in the wizard... by clicking NEXT to install the ROM.. on the phone a verification prompts me to allow this program to run.. but as soon as I click accept/allow.. the wizard on the laptop immidately loses connection with my phone and says 'can't communicate'.. on my phone i get a red, green, blue and white bars with the text.. TRIN100, IPL_SSPL by Des, TRIN100, SPL-1.07.ds, and in the white area it says serial.
Thank god it didn't 'brick' my phone.. a softset brings my phone back to normal. I have tried this twice.. but same error problems...
I just want to get the GPS workings with my currently ROM with live search or google maps OR install this new ROM and get the GPS working with the same 2 programs.
If anyone can assist it will GREATLY be appreicated!!! I hope have i provided enough details for some of you PROs out there to assist me... lol.. hopefully I am not doing something stupidly wrong!

Yes you have to update also the radio part to enable the gps on your device...

I thought I would also mention that I found a 'work around' for the LVSW install problem (referenced in my post above) for those that might have the same problem.
Every time, I would try and install the LVSW ROM... on the last step in the wizard, I would get an error on my laptop 'connection error - can't communicate with the pda' and I would get a colored screen on my phone.
Before, I would just unplug the USB from the phone, do a soft reset to bring the phone back to normal and try again.
What worked, is that I left the USB plugged in after this error. I close the install app down and reopenned it (yes the phone was still on the colored screen).. then I would go through the install wizard again..and it worked!!
Very odd behavour as I followed the provided installation instructions to the T, but atleast I got it working and all is well!

Kaiser challenge

Hi members,
it has become a challenge to fix my kaiser...
After posting a thread as "serious problem with my kaiser" and having Denco7 kindly trying to help, we had no luck... anyway thanx a lot for your try Denco!
I tried to install the original ROM and a error message comes up saying: ERROR: INVALID VENDOR ID, this message appears on the PC not on the Kaiser, the phone just restarts it self automatically...
My problem remains and my kaiser is my working tool right now I am unable to navigate the web among some other problems with it...
Once again I kindly ask to the so called HTC/WM 6.1 experts to help me...
and, no I am not crazy to screw my phone on experiments...
I am considering a donation to anyone is kind enough to help
