Help I am really stuck - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

I have an XDA IIs (Blue Angel). I was running the original WM2003SE on it.... I then upgraded to HELMI_BA_WM6_R0_Public rom and then to the latest RUU_BA_xplode_WWE_6.10.00 rom by xplode. I found both of them comfortable however with bluetooth problems on both
I can receive and talk on my BT headset (jabra BT135) but cannot hear WM player music... the sound can be heard on the speaker but not on the BT headset... I did not know the settings to direct the audio to the BT headset.
I have tried all the possible tricks and methods given in the xda-developers forum and some other forums but to no avail... after having spent almost 7 days sitting continuously on the job , I have still not been able to achieve any success.
I would be grateful if u could help me....with such smart guys in the forum, I cannot believe that it is not possible to get this right .... so I request you to please help me....I will flash my BA with any ROM tha u advice and load all other applications and cabs to make this bluetooth thing work.
Hoping to get a soln from u soon
Thanks

are you using a stereo bt headset? mine does the same but only when using a headset that is not stereo as the ba does\support them

jabra bt 135 headset
i am using a jabra bt 135 headset.....it has a single earphone so i doubt if it is stereo... but I have read in the forum that wmp audio can be directed to a mono headset also... there must be some way to do it... just the same activation needs to be done as for a phone call and I dont know how to do it

Need help on Bluetooth Audio Gateway Preference

Hi I am new here. Please guide on how to enable the Audio Gateway preference feature in my XDA IIs. The latest Broadcom Build 3500 doesn't help. I am dying to listen music through my BT headset. I know the sound quality will not be good, but I really like to listen music wirelessly. Please help. Thank you.
Please guys, really need some help here
Bump, we all want this - anyone had any joy with this yet?

The music from the one-sided analog bluetooth headset is very lousy unless you get the digital headset from NextLink.
In Malaysia you can get it here:-
http://www.bluenext-tech.com/contact_us.htm
Also, lisening from your bluetooth headset will drain your headset battery very fast.
Alternatively, you can get the iPHONO bluetooth headphone or the HP bluetooth headphone instead which gives very good quality sound.

I know about the HP stereo BT headset and I know with a mono BT headset it will produce lousy quality music but the problem is that my XDA IIs still does not have the Audio Gateway preference (even upgraded with the latest BT patch and the unofficial BT patch). U can check it at the Bluetooth settings and choose the headset/handsfree service part then tap on advance. Only telephone voice calls preference is supported. I had seen the ipaq's h6300 series, it does have 2 preferences for its headset/handsfree settings where one is for telephone voice calls and another is the Audio Gateway preference. Even if I buy the stereo headset, it still won't play any music coz the Bluetooth does not have that service preference (unless that stereo headset package provides a upgrade to the current Broadcom stack). Hope u get what I mean here.
Damn Broadcom and O2! It is such an expensive device but does not have the feature of a lesser device like h6300 series
Just read a thread that registry tweaking can be done but the information is kinda messy. Hope u guys can help me out here. Thanks.
i have the same problem. same exact problem. grrr.. XDA IIs with a treo 650 headset. i only lack the servie for audio gateway. i want this to work so badly even with the poor quality. if anyone please help.
stereo - Blueangel - possible?
Anyone up to this yet?
I've found the thread, but, as you say is kinda lousy... If only I could understand how to make it, I would help to make a wiki...

Step-by-Step :All sounds to a Bluetooth Headset ?

Hi folks!
Is there some kind of step by step manual how to get to a working solution for the well known BlueAngel Problem with it's headset connections?
I found a thread talking about some registry tweaks, but that only enables the menu option to send the sounds to the headset, but finally doesn't produce any sounds...
What I want to have is the instructions, given by the Navigon Mobile Navigator 5 beeing transferred to a bluetooth device (a parrot free speach device or a logitech headset).
I am already running ROM 1.4 and tried all various BT versions, but nothing worked..
Thanks for your help,
Balu
err.. I am looking for using bluetooth headset to listen mp3 as well, any help and suggestions?
im trying to figure out how to do that aswell, (listen to media player using bluetooth on my SVP m2000)
me too is there any idea pls
same
You can listen mp3s if your headset supports advanced audio distribution profile and you have PDA2K_BroadcomCorp_BTUpdate.cab installed. But if your "advanced" headset does not support old profiles - you would not be able to use it to listen phone calls.
You CANNOT listen MP3s on normal headsets that support headset and hansdfree profiles. To use these headsets you have to sell PDA2K and buy PDA2.

Can you please provide the list of BT headsets (with make / model numbers) that supports this "advanced audio distribution profile"
ht820 does the job!
I have Motorola HT820 on Orange M2000.
The HT820 supports Hands-Free and High Quality Audio profiles and you can playback audio in stereo via the headphones.
I upgraded the BT stack to 3900 and radio to 1.13 and added the extra profiles (instructions are in the Wiki), and it appears to work as both .
When the phone rings, WMP pauses and the left headset button answers the phone. Once you finish the call and hang up, WMP starts playback again.
The only problem that I still have is with intermittent dropout of the High Quality Audio. Anyone got any clues on curing this?
Got mine for around £60 UK sterling.
Is this an hardware limitation? Is this a ROM limitation? BT stack problem?
GSM phone preempting BT handfree?
If not HW, can we expect an upcoming solution to this?
Or, the only "hard" workaround is to plug a BT adapter (like Jabra A210) to redirect mike/spkr, and to desactivate BA BT.
Christmas tree, like.

Registry
Hi again.
So, we didn't really find a solution yet?
I once read something about a little change to the registry, so that a second profile for the normal BT Headset appears.
I searched but I can't find it again.
does anyone know which post I mean?
If so, can you give me a link to that, because I believe that is the right way to solve the problem...
the key is if your source (pda or notebook) is running BT audio gateway. centrino notebooks supports audio gateway. I have a Jabra BT800 and listens to MP3s played from an HP DV1000 notebook but cannot have it working through my XDA II mini (the latter does not support BT audio gateway)

All Audio to Bluetooth Headset with WM5

Hi folks!
A few weeks ago, we discussed the problem of diverting all audio signals from the BA to a normal BT headset. We more or less solved the problem by adding some fancy registry tweaks, that enabled the new BT profiles. The audiogw.dll didn't work correctly but then...
At this point, WM5 appeared and all efforts on the subject stopped.
So, has anyone an idea, if and how it would be possible to solve the problem on a BA running WM5?
What I am trying to do: I want to hear the instructions from TomTom or NAVIGON software on my BT Headset, which is still only useable for phonecalls.
A nice little program or registry patch to solve the problem would be highly apreciated...
I would love for this to work also. I would even switch back to wm2003se if it worked on it. Even tho my pda2k seems to run better on wm5; after all the patches and overclocking to 531.
Another problem with bluetooth
Hi again!
I just found out about a new bluetooth related problem:
The BA seems to use the internal MIC when in a phonecall, even though I am using a bluetooth headset. so I hear everthing loud and clear through the headset, but I need to talk to the internal MIC so that the other side can hear me, too.
Any idea why that is
i just noticed the BT and internal mic problem today i get the audio comming out of the phone and the BT headset at the same time also
BA first ppc phone with stereo sound

HTC BH-M200 bluetooth headset Play music

Can i listen to music with my headset?? When my HTC magic is connected with the headset i cant her music.... is there an app for this??
Well, the prob is that in some ROM's there's no a2dp support.. so you have to find a rom that suits the things you want and need

OR, it could have something to do with the fact that the BH-M200 is a mono Bluetooth headset with no A2DP support
Unlike some WinMo devices, I've not seen a way to route mono music over the headset profile, so you'll need to buy a new headset.

I have such a problem too.I bought BH M200 0nly for listening music when walking to work but unfortunately it did not support it.
I used this with Nokia E61 and it worked.
I used Ahen 6.5 n ROM and changed it to BsB 1 G.none of them worked.
If u find any solution please let me know.
Thanx.
Did anybody find solution to listen music by BH-M200?
I tested it with Nokia E61 and it supported but diamond with WM 6.5 Roms
(Ahen-n and BsB 1G) did not work.
I hope some1 find app.
I wish we could found a solution
I am in the same situation. Like you, I need a 2-in-1 earphone (music + communication) . But sadly I have tried and failed with almost every mono earphone. Except this Jabra BT8010, which is compatible with Bluetooth 2.0
http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-9673121-1.html
I wish someone will find out a workaround for the current mono earphone soon. In the meantime, I will look for some kind of software that can do the magic...

Listining radio with Bluetooth headset?

A lot of weeks I have a problem, where I can't find an answer for.
A few weeks ago I bought the Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth stereo headset. This set has an great sound quality, so I'm very happy with this headset.
I hoped that it would be possible to uses this Sennheiser headset in combination with the radio on my HTC TD. But unfortunately I haven't find an answer yet, or it's possible or not to listening radio with a Bluetooth headset on the HTC TD.
So is there anyone knows there is a workaround to let work the radio with a Bluetooth headset?
Tanks.

And do you know or it's possible to use the wired headset only for the radio signal, and use my Bluetooth headset for the sound?

I have been trying to find out how to do just this.
I ride a motorbike, and have a bluetooth crash helmet with buit in speakers / mike which works a treat for answering and making calls and indeed listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the radio via bluetooth. As you have also discovered, the headset acts as an antena but then diconects the sound from the bluetooth headset when connected. I figure that there must be a way to program the phone to use the blutooth headset as the default "speaker" and the plug in headset as only the antena.
I will repost this thread in the Topaz forum too to see if anyone has a solution.
One partial solution that I have discovered is streaming radio via an internet connection. This works, although the connection stream is not always the best and of course there is a data "overhead charge" involved.
T
no it's not possible to have both a wired headset connected an a bluetooth
even if the wires headset is only acting as antenna
