and the Action Screen / Comm Manager Colours.
The skin is for Slithers brilliant SCLPC++ Cube coded from scratch to
simulate the HTC Touch Cube.

I think I am going to update the Touch menu screen I based on Action Screen. I think because I spaced it like the Action Screen Layout that with the text being shorter its a little Left sided. I think the text needs to remain left justified but generally centered a little. What you guys think?

I liked Touch Commander as it was quick and simple. However when i upgraded to there latest version it suddenly had become "Bloatware" in my opinion and i couldnt run "Ultimate Launch" aswell. The gestures clashed all the time so it was by bye Touch Commander! After looking about i decived to give this cube a try and I have to say i really do prefer it! Also there is an update coming with another cube side on the bottom i believe so sticking with this for now!

Just wanted to make the right choice, since I decided for the first time to do a hard reset without AT&T Bloatware ( even thee dialer is faster), and do not want to install garbage.
Really admire the way you set up your tilt.

ok.. so in regards to this.. my question is.. how do u install a plug-in to use both?
ive seen the vid on youtube.. which btw was awesome! (those flames had me like i want that!) but yea.. how do u go about putting in the plug-ins..
1. Disable all Home Plugins in:
Settings / Today / Items
2. Soft Reset
3. Install Ultimate Launch.
4. Soft Reset
5. Go to Ult. Launch settings and add all the plugins there in the order you want them to appear.
6. Soft Reset
You can also change the icons for the one you like.
As for me I decided to make a real easy choice: "Follow MaxMotus perfect setups"
They are well thinked and clean (Very Professional Looking)

- This theme requires a bit of small tweaking to set up
- Copy all files to your SPB Mobile Shell folder on your PPC, then soft reset

very true, as i designed it to be a replica of the iphone gui, which is as you say, just buttons. i just wanted to give it a go and share with the community. thanks so much for trying and commenting, i appreciate it. any improvements you would suggest?
i know its pretty lame but i think just a home screen woud be suffice
i think ur buttons are the cleanest and most detailed so i wouldnt change that.

Unfortunately doesn't really work for me (SPB MS 2.1.0.3363). I have a lot of Icons which have no Description. They are titled Icon 1, Icon 2, Icon 3 and so on. Perhaps i've done something wrong during installation ?

2. Hold blank position of my skin , popup menu ;Show rows Uncheck Indicators.
3. Change the default wallpaper to WM6.1Wallpaper. (Attached)

I am not certain whether it is a bug in your design or not, but I can't get rid of the top bar. VJToggleToday does not remove the top bar and I have a feeling that it might be ROM related. In the most recent WM6.1 builds, a few things have changed. For instance, dcinobar no longer works, so someone came up with nuenobar for later versions of WM6.1. I have a BA running sun dream's WM6.1 build 20278.
Other than that, this works really smoothly (although I could definitely do away with VJToggle popping out every time I SR my device)
For me, VJToggle Today doesn't work too.
I'm running on 6.1. There must be another way to get ridd of the topbar.
To remove the VJToggle just remove it from the StartUp folder in your windows directory.
btw. is there an easy way to add more pages. I would like to sparate weather and calendar in two tabs.
But anyway its a fantastic skin.

Description
This ROM is basically identical with my other ROM, but comes with Manila3D and a workaround for landscape mode with Manila. The idea for the workaround originally came from mbarvian here, for QVGA devices running Manila2D. First I simply wanted to adapt this for TF3D and WVGA, but since there are some differences to Manila2D I had to change some other things too - which is a good thing. Because of the changes that were necessary, this version is fully compatible with the X1-Panels and is MUCH faster than the original workaround using rltoday only.
So how does it work?
Mortscript is running in background and checking for the landscape switch. If the screen is rotated, secondtoday is brought forward as the active window (running all the time with rltoday as plugin) and shows the landscape few known from the Touch Pro. When changing back to portrait mode, secondtoday is hidden again. Secondtoday won't show up in the default Taskmanager.

There are several ROM's that use TF3D as well as standalone CABs that would greatly benefit from this.
A question that does come to mind - isn't it possible to run it on top of TF3D instead of actually disabling TF3D?
By the looks of it a separate application is executed. Does it use the skin files as found in the windows folder, from TF3D?
Another thing that I can't really figure out; what is the major difference between this ROM and for instance Itje's touch Experience?
Ofcourse you each add different progs and perhaps some tweaks, but aren't they - in essence - alike?

Well, the main difference at the moment is - as far as I can see - I am using a newer SYS and XIP version than itje is. Of course that might change as he releases new versions.

No, I didn't include any "perdormance fixes" as I'm not convinced it makes any difference and I'm quite happy with the performance.
I did include UC, but didn't set up a config.txt myself to test it. However - I don't see why it shouldn't work.

Alright. As far as performance fixes go; it seems very logical to me that increasing some allocated memory here and there can speed up the device. But Xperiatweak can do that, so that aside. tnyynt's SD TuneUP has been proven useful though, increasing SD read from 2mb to ~18mb per second.
I must say i'm quite excited!!! Quick question though. Does this build include the Touch HD Volume control?
Well, I did include some tweaks which have proven useful, like changing file system cache, filter size and glyph size. SDTune etc. can easily be installed by CAB.

Great, I'll be waiting for the release! After reading into the manila landscape fix a bit, I understand it basically turns off touchflow and then starts a modified touchflow that only shows the landscape menu. Upon going back into portrait mode, the other way around.
It still leaves one question unanswered though, does it use the standard manila blackstone landscape skin? If so, I'm going to include that in the skin I'm making! (already have the skin files)
No, thats not exactly the way it is working.
When switching to landscape, the TouchFlo3D todayplugin is turned off and rltoday is turned on. So, if you want to change the skin, you have to edit the png's of the rltoday skin.

I'm not sure if you have experienced this but when i use the volume control from the touch hd i can't adjust the volume during a call. Like if you are using speaker phone.

Just came across an annoying bug. Don't know why this occurs now, but when switching to landscape mode, the creen is redrawn to portrait. Don't know why this didn't happen before and will figure this out later today. Have ask for your patience on this to hopefully solve this.
Okay guys, looking good. Had to change the way the script works and use secondtoday instead of rltoday alone. One big gain from this workaround is, that manila doesn't need to be reloaded, because it always stays activated. This means, the whole process is nearly as fast as with the original Manila3D on Touch Pro.
Will release the ROM later today. First have to wrap this up properly.

-Was never an issue but to get this to work you have to choose the city time inside of the clock settings. Yea i'm gonna make a new lite rom and i'm still researching making my own panels to make a UI ROM which i think will be really cool. All the functional UIs as Panels!!!! If anyone wants to give me a hand please drop me a line.

@Bxsteez - Is that the R2A ROM? (i.e. the most recent one?)
Also... will you be including the Touch Keyboard with this ROM? Somehow it went missing in itje's Beta 2 ROM.
its the R2AA ROM but i don't think its the most recent R2A. Itje had to remove the keyboard cause it screws up the hardware keyboard BIG TIME! It will not be included in this rom either.

SUCCESSFULLY PORTED 21018!!!!! Just have to do some minor clean up.
-still has the same bugs as itje's rom actually have an extra strange one i'm trying to figure out. I may release with the bug

So you moved to the latest ROM then??? That is awesome!
BTW - the back in portrait is also a bit short in height... can you fill it up? And of course, if you can fill up in landscape then show the back otherwise the plain one looks better.

Yea this lanscape is pissing me off...... I can't get the image to line up right in landscape. If i extend the size of the file the whole background goes white.. I'm gonna try when i get home. The image seems just right in portrait. U think its a little short?

It looks good... but then probably not.
I think it might be a problem with the beta of TF3D 2 or the ported version - 'Coz i downloaded some 800x800 wallpapers and applied those, they too didn't fill up the entire width in landscape.

Maybe edit your image and make it go transparent at the end so that the image doesn't end abrubtly but rather carries on to the black/gray back...
Yea thats how i have it setup now i think i know i did it at one point and it still looked the same way. I'm thinking maybe if i choose a different background it will mesh better.

Alright so I had to go back to HTC Home after running TF2D on my Titan for a while because it was just too slow and left me low on memory. So I decided to change some of the graphics to keep the M2D look on my phone since pretty much everything else is M2D themed. So if anybody else wants to use it here it is:

Installation:
- Install HTC Home cab file first if you have not done so already, soft reset.
- Go to settings, today, items tab and uncheck HTC Home.
- Copy files to "\HTCHome" folder.
- Go back into settings and check it back on.
- Soft reset if there are any issues.

Are you using Empex's clock? I've been looking for a better alternative but unfortunately it seems there's nothing that can make it look quite like it does on the diamond. Ipaso's is close too but the digits are separate. :-/
I'm still tweaking this so maybe if I make any noticeable changes I'll update with some extras. Thanks again for the feedback.

You mean like without the faded parts in the background? Yes, I supposed you'd just have to erase those parts in Photoshop.

You can place it anywhere on the device. Personally I keep my tsk files in the "Windows" folder since that's where the stock tsk files are stored. Just copy it to your device and execute it via file explorer, should take you to today screen. Do the same with Glossy black bars if you wish to use it.
To get 6 tabs, go to phone settings -> Today -> HTC Home tab, make sure everything is checked.
EDIT: Will upload an update tonight, still no clock but I'm working on one. I just changed the Music tab icons, the missed call icon, X button, and the alarm icon.

I don't have the HTC Home tab under Today. I only have Appearance and Items. I only have the original 4 tabs in Home.
You probably don't have the same version I have. I'll post the cab I used later today.

I just finished my Diamond-style clock for this skin. It's based on Empex's clock but I used different graphics for higher quality look and so it would match the M2D background. Will upload soon.
Also I changed the music tab progress bar to match the M2D one exactly. Here are screens:
Unfortunately the clock only looks perfect in portrait mode. In landscape some rectangles show in blue areas.
updated skin not working
i finally got the 6-tab htc home! but when i installed your updated graphics skin, it won't work. it used to work before the update when i only had 4 tabs. i tried unchecking and checking HTC Home, soft-resetting but no help.
edit: i uninstalled the 6-tab home and back to 4 tabs. now, your updated graphics skin works. maybe the 6-tab home that i got is not compatible with yours?
I found there were some problems with my graphics because I had to re-install all my programs and the pack didn't work right for me.
New file is up now, lots of updated graphics. Try reinstalling Home, download the new file in my first post, then apply.
I also added the cab file I use now. Try that one.

Was wondering if we could get just a few different colors ? like
Red or Black ? Talking about the bar underneath the clock and also the highlight color when you press a tab .
Find me the tsk file you want it to go with and I'll match it the best I can.
