hi, anyone knows how to change the theme of tytn ii? as you know, windows default color is blue and HTC is grey. May I know how to change to other colors such as yellow, red?
thanks.
Go to start, settings, today, change theme from the ones available in the list. If not go to pocketpcthemes.com and download a theme from there. Save it to your phone and then copy it to your windows directory. Go to start, programs. and then file explorer. Go to windows folder and paste in there. to copy and paste tap and hold on the file.
Thanks...I am trying to find out some themes same as HTC style but in red color...
Hmmmm

I've looked everywhere on the wiki and searched but I coulnd't seem to find anything on it. I'm looking for the green looking windows/htc home screen you see on all the kaiser pictures.
Im currently using Dutty's Dual Touch ROM on a Tilt and it only seems to have the black theme and Windows Default (Blue).
Then you're after the Windows Mobile 6.1 Theme. Is this the one?
http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/Themes/Windows-Mobile-6-1-Theme-61166.shtml
*EDIT*: And for anybody who doesn't know, to install, download the .tsk file and copy it on your device in /My Documents (NOT Storage Card/My Documents if you have that), then go to /Settings/Personal/Today/ and the new theme should be available.
Yes that would be what Im looking for. But this theme doesn't change the Today screen/HTC Home to Green also does it? just the bars.
Just tested it, everything on your screen will be a suttle shade of green, including today plugins (such as HTC Home), task bars, and Background.
*EDIT*: Check the screenshot below, just done it.
Thank you Audio!
thanks missed the green theme too..
As a title... I can't find any possibility to change my default them for the touch 3D. Anyone can help me?
Thanks
Me too
I like to change the color of the touchflo theme to black (from o2 xda blue). How to do that? Any ideas?
Tx.
I second that.
All the files are in die "Windows"-folder.
i can tell how to change back ground... go to settings from touch flo then wallpaper.. select any pic.
I found the ugly blue background branded by O2 in the WINDOWS directory (at least I think it is that one): \WINDOWS\stBackImage.png
However TotalCommander states that it is in the ROM and I can't seem to modify it in any way. This is where some more WM6 experienced people would be needed to tell me how to modify these files?
Thanks,
Alex
Edit:
Does anyone have the original background at hand?
An alternative approach I tried: I looked for the filename in the registry, but can't seem to find it.
This is exactly what I was afraid of, as soon as I saw that awful Magenta T Mobile version of the diamond
Well the blue-ish O2 theme is something i COULD live with - it's not THAT ugly - but then again: I wish I wouldn't have to
you can create a file with the same name and extension on you're desktop
eddit it with any paint progam and save it,
Now you can try to copie it and overwrite it on you're device...
it works for me, if not for you, you have to wait until some has unlocked the rom files
greets LuXa
nope, activesync tells me that the drive is either read-only or the file is write-protected...
I would also LOVE to know how to change ALL the backgrounds in touch flo 3D.

I managed to overwrite this file - without success... it doesn't seem to be the right file...
I can't find any other file that looks like the touchflo 3d background - unfortunately...
has anyone found other files that could be the right ones?
for all germans who want the touchFLO 3d in black:
http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?t=131693
it works perfectly on my diamond
why not simply reflash with another rom? as far as I know all cooked roms contain the standard (black) version of TF3D...
because this is not what I want...
although black is prettier than blue the o2 theme looks better (icons, no green borders etc)
I just want to change the background image of tf3d on all pages...
There are already a number of threads with this request.
See:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401324
There was another thread where l3v5y was discussing which files were the graphics in TouchFLO 3D, but I can't find it now.
Also, ideally, some one would make a customizer that was extensible enough to change theme designs for a wider range of applications. See this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=392184
try this one
(if you are not "en-us", you should edit the file 590ad244_manila without forgetting to change the lang id)

what is this? or what does it do? does it completely replace tf3d or just the background?
btw: is there an overview over all *_manila files?

Exactly just the first background, that makes it pretty useless.
I can't imagine why HTC were that braindead they didn't include such a feature.
If you can change the color of your phone skin dialer you can do it editing the next bmp:
PORTAIT:
Assets_dialer_Normal.bmp
Assets_dialer_Pressed.bmp
LANDSCAPE:
Dialer_Normal_L.bmp
Dialer_Pressed_L.bmp
SEE THE RESULTS
Hello
Where can I find these files?
I do not find in the Windows directory.
Thanks
Sorry, that's OK. I find
I've been having some trouble making TF3d look exactly the way I want. The first thing I've been wanting to do is to have my wallpaper be in the backround of every tab. I've tried using the cabs here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432951
but since I'm using the clock from the ATT rom they don't work correctly (changes my clock into a flip clock that shows 00:00) Is it possible to do this without changing my clock?
The second thing I want to do is to change the font color to white. With help from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2749452#post2749452
I know what to do but how the hell do I get the manila files onto my computer, so I can edit them!?
I couldnt get the manila files onto my computer but I was able to make open up a copy I made in my strorage card from my hex editor. The values in the tutorial and the file are completely different. Could anyone with more experience changing TF3d than I help me locate the values so I can have some white text up in this tf3d?
I'm using the stock ATT Rom (w/o the bloatware if that makes a diff)

Same for me......
Dear Marco, I know about your theme since awhile now, since you had it on your site. I think I'm not wrong, because I remember this theme perfectly. As somebody wrote before me, your theme reproduces the best the Windows 7 OS. And I'm a huge fan of this 7 look, currently I'm using another WAD2 theme by Koma (modified by me)... I even customized my roms with this 7 look.
But, the problem (for me) is, that since then I've been waiting for a WQVGA version, since I own a Omnia 1 phone. So, are you willing to do such a version? I'm willing to donate a few beers for this purpose.

yep same thing
i have install it on my topaz (pure) and works very well!!!
is there any chance to do the icons (startmenu, battery, opera, etc) more finger friendly? or at least more bigger?
thank you!
Im trying to run on my HD2 and I get a pink screen and nothing more, any way to fix?
@ Marco-23 does your theme require a certain version of WAD to get this to work? I am using 2.1B and when I scan for ur theme it dosen't show up. The people who have this working can you list your version of WAD .
this pink screen existed on his previos build ...i think what its doing is trying to process the command ...not enough memory maybe
i can get it to work and sometimes the pink screen comes
what i do is reinstall
I managed to get it working on my Touch Pro (Raph800).
For everyone getting the pink screens, are you able to boot Wisbar Advanced Desktop (WAD) or not?
It took me some time to get the configuration right and get it to boot, but I don't remember seeing any pink screens.
Yeah I can boot WAD
I get to the second welcome screen, sometimes it's pink, sometimes its the sunset lake picture. It never gets past that though.
I tried a reinstall and it did nothing
I have wisbar advance running at the same time, might be the problem?
sorry did a double post.
Are you installing WAD on device or sdcard? I have it installed on my device and I never had the problems you listed.

I think I can help you with this. Instead of going into WAD settings and searching for the theme- which doesn't, go to the the Vga.zip or Wvga.zip, whichever one you downloaded from the first post and unzip in onto your sd card. from there you need to double tap on the two files in the folder, marcos windows 7 landscape and portrait.
After you tap on the files it will ask you where you want to put the files. install them in program files/lakeridge/WAD/themes.
From here you can now go into WAD themes and you should see the two marcos windows 7 files there, both landscape and portrait. Set these files as the themes and it should work.
