I would like to view on my pocketpc (WM6) this TV:
http://84.16.234.166:8110/;stream.nsv
I have Windows Media Player and Coreplayer. But it is not playable.
Which software do I need to view this streaming?

I did all of this, but TCPMP doesn't start to play this url. TCMP has also no "Open URL". :-(
use a file association that way when u go to the url PIE starts up tcpmp for u

Hello!
Has anyone got these codecs working on the Kaiser with TCPMP 0.81?
I put the codecs in the Windows directory and re-installed TCPMP but no luck!
Off to do more searching...... but it would be good to hear experiences..
Ofiaich
in tcpmp go to options>settings>select page>File associations>tick the windows media video files. then soft reset.
lungothrin!
Thanks.... I thInk it is wma that I want to play.....
I will double check there now.... but don't think I can do..
They are wmv's but Windows Media Player palys them...........
but I am not sure why TCPMP does not..

Hello,
The 3 WMV9 codec files need to go in the TCPMP folder in Program Files NOT in the Windows folder.
Move the file and then soft reset, should work fine.

Ugh... I keep telling people over and over and over and over again... TCPMP 0.81 is NON-Official version Hack /slash/ fork that is slower then 0.7x.
Do not download it... do not use it... don't bother with it... that is unless you like to use a slower version of TCPMP.
Thanks everyone,
I will try to find an 0.7xxx version and then reinstall.
I guess to the memory card is fine!

Hi !
I installed 0.72 and then the codecs, but still cannot get my Windows Media Audio/Video files to play.
They do play in Pocket Media Player though....:
Any advice on the codecs?
EDIT... now working... not sure why, but copying the codecs directly to the directory did not work... so copied to documents then cut and paste to TCPMP directory....
Also played some Japanese MP3's and they displayed in Japanese, after I swicthed TCPMP's language to Japanese, but this was inconsistent. Not all of the files displayed correctly....

Can't play WMA with TCPMP.
How do I move the 3 WMV9 codec files?
Which particular files?

TCPMP new VS2008 builds for WM6.1 with FLV built in
Here is a new recompiled version of tcpmp with flv built-in.
When you are viewing youtube.com (not mobile version) on internet explorer, click on the image of that clip you want to view, a drop-down menu will appear with choices - play video or save video. If Play video is selected, tcpmp will launch. Or after saving, if open file option is checked, tcpmp will launch.
Macromedia flash 7 not required.
Download cab file here:

Thanks for this link, it work better than I hoped : i can see the video directly on the youtube (desktop)...but my diamond crash with this message : not enough memory blabla.
Do you know what append inside the phone ?
Then i see that tcpmp installPath is in "\Program Files" and not "\Stockage interne\Program Files" (french phone). Is it normal ?
Sorry for my english .
I was trying to watch a youtube video and no matter what i do when i go to http://m.youtube.com when i click on a link it opens "Streaming Media" witch seems not to work.. when i try to install TCPMP and do what it instructed still no matter what the Streaming media app still opens..

Hey everyone,
After doing A LOT of searching about the whole video driver issue, I came across the fact that HTC Album supports the qtv hardware acceleration. The only problem I have is that HTC Album isn't the easiest application to browse for files and open them. So my question is, is it possible to open file explorer and go to the video file, click it and have it open directly in the HTC Album video player. I have tried using advance config to change .MP4 to open in HTC Album.exe and Playshow.exe. With the album app, the album just opens to its default page. With playshow.exe nothing even happens. I could not find another .exe that related to HTC Album. All of your help is greatly appreciated.

It should work if the association is set correctly; it has for me on several ROMs. Make sure it says:
HTCAlbum.exe "%1"
I just use WMP to play mp4 files since I read that it too does use hardware acceleration. correct me if i'm wrong.
i can't get mp4 files to open using album as well...
yeah wmp and album are using hardware accekeration, and i have too problems with opening mp4 files form album.
i use resco file explorer and it opens mp4 file imidatly with album, but i would like to be able to browse film from album

It depends on the Chef, but most of the time that string works. Here are all the reg entries in the same format. I like all of them.
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mp4file\DefaultIcon]
@="HTCAlbum.exe,-300"

Well this method does the same thing as changing it to HTCAlbum.exe in advance config. It will open HTCAlbum, but it only opens the application rather than automatically playing the video file. It also does not even go to the directory of the video, it goes to the default "camera shots" menu.
If it helps I have an ATT Fuze, maybe that changes some factors.

When i try these techniques (I only did the 2 that changed mp4file) i get an error while opening a .mp4 video file from file explorer. The file 'blah blah blah' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.
Thanks for all of the help so far guys!
Solution
Try this and thank me later!
