Hello everybody. Can someone help me please.I am trying to open jpeg files and my phone says that it cannot open them because "either it is not signed with a trusted certificate,or one of it's components cannot be found"
A trusted certificate? On a jpeg file? All my programs work great but I cannot open any pictures using ANY program...What suddenly happened and can I do anything about it?
Thank you
Chris

When in doubt, hard reset. That should not be an issue unless something was corrupted. Did you install a program that might be set to view picture files? What ROM do you have? More info would be nice. When you post on this forum try to include as much detail as possible. I.e. in your signature like mine.

I'm looking for the HTC ACC Decoder from someone's Kaiser.
I tried to google it, but found nothing. I've checked the forums and nobody else seems to be getting the same error as me.
I downloaded "HTC Audio Manager 1_2_816716.cab" and attempted to install to my Wizard. It works, but gives an error message about the missing ACC Decoder. I'm assuming since nobody with the Kaiser is getting this message, it must be in your OS.
Can someone search their \Windows directory for the file? I don't know the name of it, but I'm guessing that "*acc*.dll" would be an appropriate search.
Many thanks if you can help.
Sorry for the bump, but I don't want this to get burried.
Anyone feel like checking their Kaiser for this file? It won't take more than 5 minutes.
Is it looking for an ACC or AAC decoder? I have an AAC_Reader.dll in my windows folder, nothing about ACC though.

It says "Can't load HTC ACC Decoder."
I may just need to reinstall using a cab from the Wizard forum, but I was looking for a version of Audio Manager that allows touch scrolling...
Thanks for looking anyway.
so i've been browsing this forum about 2 days now and trying different ways to try and operate this program. i downloaded the files from the thread that Nyer78 created:
i followed the exact instructions on installing and it installed perfectly. i replaced the config file he provided to get the iContacts to work and it was great. But when it's suppose to pop up to lock the device it would have an error:
PPL Runtime Error
App: SLIDE.EXE
File:SLIDE.EXE
Proc:WINMAIN
Opcode:LOADSPRITE
Chat/Line/Offset:0,0,
0x005391e0
eRROR LOADING IMAGE \Program Files\Slide2Unlock\GFX\Res\wallpaper.bmp
then i read how i needed to change it to JPEG/JPG and i did in the res folder. after i read that i needed to do it in the configs and i did, but everytime i soft reseted my ppc, the same error message would come up. the iPHONE theme is installed in my storage card and the slide2unlock program is on my device. (keep in mind after messing with the configs i would soft reset my device) so i tried uploading my own photos size 240x320/320x240 and it still didn't work. also when i open up the files on my device it shows as a jpg/jpeg, but when i connect it to my computer via bluetooth it shows as a bmp. anyone know whats going on and so forth? also i tried turning iLOCk off then turning it on then turning on slide2unlock and still doesn't work. any help, suggestions are welcomed. Thanks alot guys you've done so much already as to overclocking and things like that.

Why not use the newer version that less issues. S2U2.
I've been using it for awhile now and it seems to work a lot better.
Hi
I am new to this forum and to HTC. I have set up my new phone with S2UL, Ifonez and Icontact. I have got a number of my apps working fine from Ifonez but I cant seem to find the files or commnads to load Windows Mobile 6 built in applications such as the following
Communication Manager
Task Manager
Programmes.
I have been searching through Google and these forums in order to find out but cant seem to find anything, so sorry if this is an obvious question.
I am also using Icontact Burt edition which is mostly working fine. However I am finding one or two contacts are displaying underneath the top bar so that I cannot really make out the entry. I only discovered it by searching for an entry that I knew was there but couldn't see in the list. Icontact seems to display a screen at a time rather than a continuous list so I am finding it difficult to see who these entries relate to. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Greg

Thanks for the quick reply.
If I understand this correctly I create a text file with the appropriate code in it and then rename the file with the extension lnk. Then I point one of ifonez launch icons towards this file. Is that correct?
If it is I still cant seem to see a code for Communication Manager or to open the Programs folder. Have I misunderstood?
You would simply make a .txt file with the "data" of the thing you want to link to, save the file, and then change the extension of the file from .txt to .lnk.
For example, to create a shortcut to Settings>System>Memory>Main, you would make a text document with this in it:
20#ctlpnl cplmain.cpl,4
Save the file as "Memory", and then use a file explorer/manager to change the extension from "Memory.txt" to "Memory.lnk"
The link to the Comm Manager is: 39#"\Windows\CommManager.exe"
The link to the Programs folder [in the Start Menu] is 40#"Windows\Start Menu\Programs\"
Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been caught up with work and unable to look at this forum until now. So thanks for your reply it was really helpful.
Hello just wondering if anyone knows of a way to change the names an xperia t saves its photos as, each time I use syncme to backup my photos to the pc, then delete the photos on the xperia it starts using dsc_0001 dsc_0002 and so on again, which then causes problems with repeated file names.
On my old nokia I could set it to use the date as photo file name. Is there something along these lines I could use for the xperia?
Thanks
This is my problem too...
I think that they exists a lot of application which solve this problem. Try to see this:
Code:
http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/13954/how-can-i-change-the-naming-convention-of-the-stock-camera-gallery-app
Or other solution is bulk renaming all files in PC.
Cheers for the help, I couldn't find a solution that would do it simply on the phone so decided to just use this program http://www.digicamsoft.com/softnamexif.html on the pc which instantly renames the picture to dates. Perfect, job sorted
Cheers
I did a voice recording, which is very very important to me, with "voice recorder 0.1" that came along with my S3Mini. Unfortunately, the phone crashed after about 1 hour. I recovered a huge temp file with the fitting time stamp in the root folder named ".voice". I played around for a while to figure out what it is and how to recover the recording but got stuck after a few steps. Can anybody help me here? Or should I post this request in another forum?
What I found out so far:
The app package is named "com.sec.android.app.voicerecorder" - maybe it helps to avoid confusion
The file is a kind of trunkated version of the final m4a file: I did some test recording, paused the recording, copied ".voice" elsewhere, stopped the recording and saved the final "test.m4a". A comparison by a hex-editor showed largely identity except for some placeholder for file length in the header and some rather big section at the end. I can also provide these test files but I didn't find a way to attach them here.
Any idea how to recover the content of .voice or what the missing file section at the end could be about? I would be really glad about that!
Sorry for asking again: Is this the right forum for such kind of questions? Or where should I post it?
Though this post is long ago, this problem can be solved now. Voice files are not difficult to recover as long as the data has not been overwritten. Many solutions and tools can do that, such as Bitwar Data Recovery, etc. You need to download a recovery tool and connect your device to the PC. Then let the tool scan your device to find the voice file and recover it.
