How can I get the source of android that works on HTC Kaiser?
I mean the source for the Android, not the linux kernel. It seems that the official one doesn't work.
Depends on which android version you mean. And you can find them in the rom development thread.

There is no Android that works on the Kaiser. The rom chefs take the Android version and run it in a Linux shell within Windows Mobile.

As stated there are no roms for flashing around at this time, you must boot via WM but here are some threads to get you started:

Extracting the code for yourself so you can reverse engineer and create exactly what you were after in the first place. Job's a good'un.

Hey guys,
I have successfully made a vendor config for the HTC Tattoo that works with CM6, but there is one error that renders the build unusable...
The error can be found here: http://pastebin.com/tsqbGmyK, and it happens after the initial config screen loads (The hand that clicks the android)...
I can't fix the error myself so I'm asking if any of you know how to fix it??

Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying the Xperia V. Do you think it will be possible to install Ubuntu for Phone after the release and some development? The minimum requirements are met, but I would like to be sure.
There's a boot loader menu for the Xperia S and I would like to know if something like this will be ported to the V. Also, is there any chance the Ubuntu OS could be stripped/customized to a custom Debian rom.
Last question, will we see custom kernels based on Ubuntu for the Xperia?
Thanks in advance!

Untill someone does it then maybe, once its done then yes, however, there seems to be more dev involvement in the xperia T, so if you are into dev then the Tmay be a better option for you.

It may be possible, but it depends if anyone actually wants to do it to see if it will be done.
