Did you bother reading the Wiki? It's all there. Go to Wiki and look for Flashing Custom Splash Screens.

My Touch HD has lost it's graphics capability: only able to display 4 colours. It keeps freezing. I want to remove the update. Help would be appreciated at this point.
Dude, change your SPL to 1.56 & it will be alright...

did u use HSPL Olinex 1.56?
Read the instructions. and post problems on miris post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493911
a simple search would have solved your problem!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I had updated to 1.56; It appeared to install. Obviously somthing failed. After trying all ROMs; finally looking at startup BIOS: I realised what was amiss: 1.56.

I am sorry for taking up your time But and am new to all this flashing stuff and can't seem to find a muppets guide in sorting this out.
I have a Green Screen on HD after flash with HTC EUR_WWE_1.56.405.1 from the HTC web site.
I have also flashed it with:
_HTC Touch HD_MR_2009_RUU_BlackStone_HTC_Europe_1.56.401.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship.exe
RUU_BlackStone_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.59.707.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship.exe
RUU_BlackStone_HKCSL_WWE_1.57.831.1_Radio_52.64.25.34_1.14.25.24_Ship.exe
I have also tried to copy disptool.dll from an other HD but still no joy.
But this still has not worked.
P.S I work in the IT trade so know computer well but bon't want to trash my phone.
Any ideas on how to sort this problem out
It is hspl - flash 1.14 or 1.56!!!

Hi Guys,
I have been having a problem when i have been flashing my blackstone with miri's Rom. Whenever i try and boot up the OS the colours are all distorted and weird, and the phone function does not work on the handset. I really want 6.5 on my phone and I was wondering if you could tell me how to fix these issues.

I'd read the tutorials about flashing, since you're not the first person having these problems. Good luck.
Please read the Dummies Guide first, before posting. Every day someone opens a thread just to ask the same question. You need to update your SPL to get all colors. See HERE

Hey, new to the site and looking for help. Ive got an HTC Tilt 1 with windows 6.5.2 on it and it continuously freezes up on me. Its got to the point where I cant get past the menu screen. Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks!

Hard reset your device, if that doesn't work flash your stock rom first and then flash again your custom one.

i flashed my htc viva to a cooked rom, and when i started my mobile it stuck on the windows loading screen and nothin happen more, i can't even synochronize it with pc to install another rom, please help me
