id love mine changed too, its meant to say rorydaredking like everything else, but no i soehow spelt it wrong twice in a row (I remember having to confirm the username) because i always put n's in the wrong place...
Just posted a few comments for applications on the market today and noticed that my display name on the market is AndroidAutobot. That's terrific because my e mail address is outdated and I would indeed prefer to use AndroidAutobot... but what's stumping me is what exactly it is that governs your username on the Android Market?
Its certainly not the gmail addy you're signed into your g1 with. If it were my username would either be David or AtariRevolutionary.
What's even stranger is I don't REMEMBER ever specifying AndroidAutobot ANYWHERE that has anything to do with the Market. I'm so confused lol. I suppose it's possible I was drunk one night and did that... but it's very uncommon that I black out. Any light that can be shed on this matter would be much appreciated =)

That doesn't explain why, just what, which is now very apparent, although it would have been nice to have a link from slideme.com to the new site so people like me weren't left wondering.
Nor did they even bother to email app coders before or since doing this, it's really very bad for them since they have a user base used to going to the old URL and suddenly there is nothing but a sign up that it's down till further notice.
Somebody I don't know said a bunch of crap about me publically on Google+, and tagged me in the posts. I know I can't untag myself from them, but unless they actually visit this guy's page, will followers of me on Google+ see these tagged posts?
It depends on who he posted them to. You can select to make anything you post totally public. Post a link and I'll see if I can see it for you.
Other than that, Google must surely give you a way of untagging yourself for this very reason. Get in touch with them and ask the question.
The post was totally public, and he has no connection to me through anyone following me.

Well, I have another Gmail account and I made a Google+ account there, followed myself with the original account, and the other account. I don't see that post on the new account following the one with the tagged posts. So I should be good, right?
It sounds like it. TBH, I doubt many people can say for sure as Google+ is so different to the Facebook that we're used to.
I think you've done the best thing you can to test it.

Yeah, I mean I think I tested it...I made a new Google+ account, added my account with those tags and I didn't see any of the posts.

K good. So nobody else can see it unless they go to the guy's page. Which wouldn't happen because he lives 4000 miles away and has no connection to me. But there HAS to be a way to untag myself, but I've been looking for hours on this and all I'm seeing is untagging pics.

Like I said earlier, the only thing I can think of is to ask Google. You can't be the 1st person that's needed to do this.
They don't really have a support email I can contact for this type of thing. I sent feedback and posted something on their forums. I'm just worried about somebody seeing this crap. I muted the post, that's about as far as I can go.

I know it's probably a longshot, but you could try asking the guy to remove it. If he does then great. If he doesn't then you're no different than you are now.

In that case, you can uninstall and reinstall your browser. Hope that this could give you an answer to your question ?. If not, you may have to do some researches of your own Google account security settings.

it's normal. Just makes sure you give the permission to send messages and you agree there might be fees related to it.
