Opera And Flash Sites.

Does anybody know how to make settings to see Flash based web sites. My bank uses a flash based web site and account site and I couldnt see anything. IE mobile opens it but Opera have a blank page.

YEah I am also searching for an opera flash plugin, anyone seen one?

Does anybody could find a solution ?

This is not a flash plugin or installs like that. It actually is a standalone flash player to play flash content (flash files). It helps developers to test their flash based applications (like games etc).

Well it opens up videos in opera on youtube style sites.

This does not work for me? Am i doing something wrong? Just installed Adobe Flash Lite, but flash sites aren't viewable in Opera

Isn't Flash Lite installed on the diamond on-delivery already... quite sure that it's in the manual... going to check...

According to the manual it is pre-installed...
But it says it's to play flash-files.. so it probably doesn't works through opera...

You need Flash Player 7 not flash lite. Trust me.

You need Flash Player 7 not flash lite.

just looked at the manual and it says the flash player lite is for flash lite files only:
"Note Adobe Flash Lite only supports playback of Flash Lite (not Flash) files."

Anybody knows how to install Flash 7 to Touch
or
any known plugin for opera mobile.

on my diamond it says flash 7 is already installed on the divice.......

Where did you see this ( which menu ? )
Which firmware you diamond have. mine is 1.34..... and didnt see anythink like this :...
Can you see flash based site already ?

I have installed 1.37 rom and find something, if you disable plug-in support from settings. flash works fine on Opera. with full support.

youtube not showing any video's.
Too bad, in netherlands one can watch the Euro2008 live, would really like that

Have not found one yet. most it plays youtube videos. But nothing else.
I have found skyfire browser to play all flash videos... although graphics are not that great.

Correct me if I'm wrong - but AFAIK you only have to install FlashLite (google it!) to make Opera flash-compatible!
EDIT: As Shaz mentions, FlashLite only supports a limited number of sites, specifically those using flash up to version 8. Higher flash version content won't run with FlashLite. Skyfire is a good way to use those sites!

YouTube Problems with New Custom ROM

I'm using one of the new ROMS with Sense 2.5 and WM 6.5 21901, and the Youtube is not working. It shows the thumbnails with no problem, but when I click on a video, an error message pops up that says, "This video cannot be played". Otherwise Internet works fine.
Has anyone had this problem with any of the newer Sense 2.5 roms? Is there a solution for this? By the way, the Google Youtube app works fine.
Tried searching, but couldn't find any answers.

Did you reversmode the YouTube package files? It could be caused by that.

What do you mean by reversemode? Do you mean recmod? I'd really appreciate your response.

Hmmm... No, I didn't reversemode any of the files in the package. I did recmod a couple of modules.

I suggest you mention this to the maker of the rom,this is an error on thier part. If you are the maker of the rom then usually this is a dshow or driver error.

Can someone post the AllShare app. I accidentally nixed it.
I believe it is Dlna.apk and odex.

Hello I'm new to this community and Android in general.
I made the same mistake and removed Allshare/dlna by accident.
I downloaded the Dlna.apk from mgxplyr, but it wouldn't install...is it because Dlna.odex is missing? (I'm rooted and sideloading enabled)
Opening the apk in the phone it says "Package Installer - This is a package installer.What action would you like to perform?" - I click Install.
Then it goes into the installation progress bar. After a couple seconds it tells me "Application not installed"

it doesn't make sense considering the video player runs .avi and divx files just fine

Allshare plays MKV just fine on my captivate.. the only MKVs my captivate won't play are 1080p ones

I've played Divx and Avi's with it before without issue.

This is more likely not the .mkv or .avi file containers it doesnt support (which it does), but the codecs in which the files were encoded with inside the avi/mkv container files.

Better App Out There?
The think I don't like a bout the Allshare app, is that if you go to select files to add to a QUEUE to play, you have to select them one at a time.
Has anyone found anything better out there?

The search function works like magic
This has been covered many times on the Captivate and other device forums. You really should try searching before asking for something like this.

Read the post carefully about how to install. Don't just grab the files and try installing through the OS. Need a root explorer or telnet (and cp command) and copy the file to the directory specified in the above post.

[Request Apk] Can someone share the latest Yahoo Messenger Plugin ver. 1.4?

I have done the Market fix several times already and have fixed most of the missing app problems, except the voice and video plugin for yahoo IM. I always get the "requested item could not be found" message when i try to update the app. I cannot run the IM apk without the plugin. Can someone please send me or upload the 1.4 version? Thanks
Also if you must ask i have used other IM apps that allow you to chat etc but have not found one other than the official app that allows you to do voice and video plus send and receive files. Ps. I also used the search bar with no success.

I tried the steps in the thread you pointed out. But that doesn't fix the problem. I posted a reply in that thread and I will quote it here also

If you have an android phone download YM with that and then use Bluetooth file transfer also in the market for free on both your gtab and android phone then use that app to send the app from your phone to the gtab..
I would upload the app for you but I don't have my tablet with me to bounce the app from phone to tab to here.

will the posted apk's work on the stock rom? I have version 1.3.2 (both the ym and the video plugin), but the video icon shows up disabled. Is this a newer version? Thanks!

Yes, it is a newer version (1.4).
