hey folks,
i noticed that the distance between the upper part (display) of the kaiser and the lower one (keyboard part) seems to get more and more away from each other. on the left side of the kaiser, where both parts are connected the distance between both parts is tiny but on the right side the distance is like 6 or 7 times bigger.
so when i type in with the stylus i notice that on the right side, the upper part in knocking on the lower because of the distance...
i hope ya'll know what i mean and my question is, if theres a way to bring the upper part closer to the keyboard so thats the same distance of the 2 parts on both sides?

I had not had the tiny rattling sound that comes from the rolling wheels under the slider until today, after I dropped my X1 for the first time. But, after reading around and finding the source of the rattle - the tiny metal wheels under the front of the device - I was able to stop the noise. (not to mention being relieved it wasn't something more serious)
The noise is the light rattle coming mostly from the top end of the front as well as the bottom, louder at the top. It sounds almost like a loose screw and makes noise even just from turning the phone upside down, more high-pitched than the other possible noises. Testable by putting pressure on the front of the device, just to the left of the light sensor. if you push down and shake the noise disappears. The source is the little roller wheels under the slider.
This noise is not the optical joystick and not the camera rattle. The joystick rattle can be detected by holding your thumb with a slight bit of pressure over the optical joystick and gently shaking, if that noise goes away, this will not fix it. If the sound is more of a quiet clunking sound that only happens with a jolting shake, the source is the autofocus of the camera and will not be fixed by this.
How I stopped the noise:
I fixed this by cutting thin slices of clear tape, about 1 mm wide and 3 mm long and placed them flat on the metal of the keyboard, then closed the phone. I slid some paper in the gap to make a cushion and applied pressure to the front face to push the tape up onto the wheels more firmly. No more noise.
To make the fix invisible, use a second strip of tape to hold the edge of the tape that will remain so you can position it far enough inside it cannot be seen and then remove the second strip.
Credit to qpwoeipt's post that got me to this idea: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3171129&postcount=11. There are photos in that post that will illustrate the location of the wheels, plus you can see them if you look in the gap above the keyboard.
Cool tutorial there dude!!!
Seem a bit excessive though for something i never notice or get bothered by
Still cool idea!

The noise I was suddenly hearing was quite loud and happened with the slightest movement, very much like a small loose screw moving around. Since it happened only after dropping the phone (for the first and hopefully last time), I really wanted it eliminated.
Hi,
You all have seen topics about screens not correctly aligned with speaker grills. My issue is a bit different. The top speaker grill seems to be curved (the middle of the grill is lower (like 0.5-1mm) than the left and right border).
In fact, in the corners, the screen is flush with the grill but not in the middle, the screen is a (very) little bit higher than the speaker grill but I feel it when I swipe down notification and it bother me. I realy don't want to return this phone because everything else is perfect so here is my question :
Do you have any clue on how to give a "flat" style to the grill without damaging the screen/speaker/front camera... ?
Thank you in advance.
What's everybody's screen like? If I press firmly down at the top it is rigid. If I push firmly on the bottom, the slightly raised screen goes flush with the speaker . The bottom left corner is highest - and we're perhaps only talking a fraction of a millimeter - but if I firmly push that corner - it goes slightly lower than the grill and makes a clicking/popping noise .
Is this normal? I wouldn't mind but my other device is a nexus which suffers terrible lift . I really wish these companies would sort these issues out.
The problem I have is that when I touch the phone or touch my fingers on the part between the camera and the fingerprint sensor, there is a sound as if something is loose inside the device, this sound increases if you touch it several times. upper part that is above the camera. Also, however, when placing it on flat surfaces such as desks, placing it as commonly placed any device also produces this sound (As if it had something loose inside). GOOGLE TRANSALATE
My doubt is that if it is something NORMAL the problem that I have is that the mobile on touches having had or to do it with the fingers in the part between the chamber and the sensor of fingerprint, produces a sound to itself as if something was sluggish inside the device, this sound increases if touches several times the part top that this one arrives of the chamber. Also on having placed it on flat surfaces as offices, placing it since any device is placed produces also this sound (As if it had something sluggish inside). THEWORLD TRANSLATE
Is it something new or did uou have this sound since the beginning ?
Solved, it was factory error they replaced it with a new sealed one.
I got my crystal pro on Sunday, overall really happy with it (will be even happier when I get .124 and the improved AOD!) but am noticing a very slight rattle when tapping on certain parts of the screen.
It only happens when I tap the top right part of the screen, it is very minor but is certainly not consistent with the rest of the display. It is the part of the screen that will be sitting adjacent to the rear cameras so maybe it is the camera mechanism? Probably normal but I am kind of OCD about this kind of stuff.
Anybody else noticing this on their pro?
Same here next to the cameras. I thought it's the OIS but my first p30 pro (display issues) didn't do that or i never noticed it!

I can confirm that it is there, and if you tap and listen closely, the sound is originating from the back, so it's most likely the OIS in the cameras.
But it isn't an issue for me, as you have to use some force while tapping it to hear that rattle, using the phone normally with slight taps like I use every other touchscreen device, I can't hear any rattling sound whatsoever.
