Alarm clock - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Any mods to change the one weakness that i find in the tilt? The alarm isn't long enough, well i guess i can make a wav file for that but dunno how. The problem is it doesn't snooze every 5mins automatically unless you change the settings ONCE the alarm goes on.
Any help?
thanks

SPB Time
Try SPB Time. It works well and does what you want

Pocket Alarm
I use PocketAlarm and it's pretty good

I use Pocket Wakeup with its english patch (Unzip and replace in \Program Files\Pocket WakeUp).
If you use Mortplayer as a music player, you can also use it as an alarm, it has that feature built in.

Using MP3s as alarms on WM6 possible?

As the title states, is it possible to use MP3s as your alarm tones? I found instructions on WM5 (registry edits) but the registry entries don't exist on WM6.
i recommend using pocketwakeup its more stable then wm6 built in alarms.
No its not possible ever since wm2003..
Use another program to do it like what jacob said..
mp3 alarm
End Net enAlarmPPC v3.2.4
Requirements: Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 2003 SE
Overview: The MP3 alarm clock for Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 2003 SE is now available in the version 3.2.4 featuring even more new incredible functions.
Features:
The build in alarm clock of Windows Mobile lacks in functionality and usability. That is where enAlarmPPC 3.2.4 takes place. With this program you can set multiple alarms with their own playlist of MP3, WAVE, Windows Media or Midi files. An alarm can be set to start daily at a given time or periodicly at selected weekdays.
Particularly the snooze function of the build in alarm is extremly poorly. With enAlarmPPC the snooze delay can be set indivually. With a simple tap on the screen the snooze function is activated and the playlist continues after the set time.
The ingenious quiz function prevents late riser from activating the snooze function too often while in doze. After a configurable amount of snooze activations the quiz starts. Now it is not possible to activate snooze again until one has solved a simple (but with times increasing difficulty) math calculation. That way the brain needs to at least for short work active and so the wake up process is initiated.
Further it was concidered that the sound files are faded in when played, so the user will not affright when an loud starting sound is played.
Last but not least a title and a message can be entered for any alarm which is largely displayed on the screen when the alarm starts.
Available Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Turkish
Version History v3.2.4: new functions:
- The current time is now displayed on the main screen.
- A warning will be shown if no sound file is selected.
- A button to test an alarm added.
found this just downloaded from another forum but i think it is cracked so wont be posting the links but you can pm if you wish and i will let you know where i got it from

Alarm Clock for Heavy Snoozers

I'm a heavy snooze button hitter. I sometimes don't remember the alarm ever going off. Problems I have with PDA Alarm Clocks is that the Snooze and Dismiss buttons are always in the same place. I'm looking for an alarm program that moves the snooze and dismiss buttons around the screen (and could possibly require 3 or more presses in different locations to disable.)
Ideas?

Pocket Alarm http://www.wizcode.com/products/view/pocket_alarm gives you the option of adding a confirm message box or it even makes you do a math problem to stop or snooze.
Haha thats funny a math problem will wake me up frustrated as hell. It would be cool if it disabled the buttons so you'd have to use the stylus.
yea I use pocket alarm with the 'alarm 5 sound'
anyone has a more annoying alarm sound as mp3 ??
i use spb time for my alarm clock. It is the first alarm clock that I am able to wake to each day.
I am also a "heavy snoozer" and I use Pocket Alarm. It is the best alarm for me and I do choose the math problem option because I sometimes don't even realize I'm hitting the snooze button and end up waking up late.
I'm attaching a .wav file that is very effective at waking me up. It's loud and annoying, perfect for heavy snoozers.
I actually think I got it here.

thank you
You can always try spb time. Very loud alarm and big buttons for snooze and disable. Unfortunately it's not free but you can download the trial and see if it's worth the $$$.
I'm running SPB Time...I like it for all it's features and such. I would just wish that the "OFF/SNOOZE" buttons on the screen would be in different places each time it goes off.
ptravelalarm
Very easy to use.

LOL

Both PocketAlarm and SPB Time are VERY good
I have tried both these: PocketAlarm and SPB Time
Both of these allow using mp3 files for alarms, which was what I was after, while I stumbled on these.
PocketAlarm: Most comprehensive alarm system that I have ever seen. Period. I was pleasantly amused to see the 'math problems', but I do not really need that, as I have a wife to wake me up now
Sadly, it does not have a countdown/countup timer. But as an 'alarm' it is very complete.
SPB time: Complete too, but does not have math problems - but has a superb countdown and countup timer function. I love it.
Which one do I recommend?
I use SPB Time now, as I do not need the math function, and the timer functions are a big bonus for me. So, you choose between them (math problems for snooze OR timer functions).

Yeah...I've seen Clocky.
I myself like the "Flying Alarm Clock" It has a propeller like key that flys off the top of the alarm when it sounds. You have to find this key and replace it in the top of the clock to silence it.

Good find! I had held off buying a clocky as I don't think it would get very far in my bedroom lol! This is perfect and cheaper, I just bought one!
Im using "End.net enAlarm" right now... It works fine for me, unlike SPB Time that often dosent play the sound on the alarm. End.net have like "Pocket Alarm" a mathproblem for you to solve befor the snooze shuts of...
And for the alarmsignal I use this one that im attatching, its a hell of a noice when this goes off. If you sleep thru this alarm, your dead

alarm sound on vibrate/silent?

in some ROM's there is an option under "more" in clock & alarms that allows you to enable the alarm sounding when on silent or vibrate. does anyone know of a CAB that you can install that will add this feature without downloading the whole ROM'?
I also want this
Has anyone found a way to do this? I really would like a cab that would add this tab to allow my alarm to come on on vibrate.

alarm question

i have the diamond but each time i would like to set an alarm i get a message telling me the alarm will not sound if the phone is set on silent, hence i am
just wondering if there are any alarm clocks for the touch diamond which will ring when set, even if the phone is on silent mode.
ideas anyone?
in silent mode the device can't play any sounds
the program you would need would have to change
the registry to force the device out of silent mode
to be able to make any souds
is this registry edit possible? i basically want it for use as an alarm clock in the mornings but i dont want to leave the phone able to ring if i were to get a call/txt while i sleep.
flight-mode accomplish that too without any 3th party software
This app should do waht you require...
Even the basic quick alarm with this application provides an audible alert when the phone is set to silent.
Check out G-Alarm
With the more complexed alarms with this app, one can set even the max volume of the alarm - so is independent to the WM volume control.
Hope this helps?
You don't need to do all that, just check the "sound alarms even if device is set to silent" box in the clocks/alarms menu. I put mine on silent every night when I go to sleep and the alarm wakes me up every morning, it goes off at the same volume that you last had the system volume set to before you switched it to silent.
cheers for the help people.

Alarm Sounds

I just recently bought a viva. I used my old phone as my alarm clock. This one is a bit more stubborn. I cannot find anywhere to be able to change the sound on the alarm. It only makes a short sound that goes of twice and then quits. Does anyone know how to customize the alarm setting on the phone? Using a daily reminder as my alarm is hassle. THANKS!

Go to Settingd/Clock&Alarm; touch on the "small bell" icon, and some options for customizing the alarm setting will display.
You can use G alarm program
