I don't think windows mobile supports the AVRCP profile. (Audio Visual Remote Control Protocol) Can anyone confirm this?
My car stereo supports it, and if my handheld did, I could control the media player with my car stereo.
Edit-
Hmmm, CorePlayer says that the profile is supported, but I can't seem to control anything with my car stereo...
It does...
I have a Parrot MK6100 that does AVRCP and A2DP...
Works fine... albiet a little clunky at times.

Edit: Perhaps its your audio app... I have used the HTC audio player and windows media player... both work.
pocket player
I use pocket player from conduits. It works perfect with a2dp and avrcp. It also has full screen album covers and will even download the album cover if not in the folder.
Also, read my multimedia-related articles - I've written a LOT on AVRCP.

I'm using the Motorola S9 with my Kaiser and it is working nice. The problem is that the Audio Video Remote Control Profile(AVRCP) is not working so I cannot control using my headphone. I saw at HTC website they have only for the HTC S710 the HTC audio Drivers where brings remote capabilities.
Anyone knows how to use AVRCP on Kaiser to explore the full capability of my Motorola S9?
Thanks in advance
marcus

I'm trying to control the playback and answer the phone as you. I will try to partner again and see whats happen.

yeah just remember u wont see AVRCP as a listed profile. but as long as wireless stereo and handsfee are checked u should be fine. works with media player and audio manager (haven't used anyother program with it as of yet)
avrcp
well i use the sonorix c3 and what i have to do to get mine to work is to go into...Settings. Connections. Bluetooth. click and hold on the device so in your case the S9 and choose Set as Wireless Stereo.
y2whisper, you are right! With Windows Media Player it works perfect! The problem was with Pocket Player 3.01. I will see if there is any update to keep using it or start using WMP that I found not as good as Pocket Player.
At Pocket Player I found at the Plug in area an installed plugin named Bluetooth Headphone Controls but even so it is not working like the WMP. Someone use the same player than me and know how to fix it?

Install the Conduits WM Adapter 2.1 (gen_wmhost.dll). It intercepts the WMP controls and sends them to Pocket Player. I needed to do this to get it working as well.
Do you know where I can get the Conduits WM Adapter 2.1? Thanks in advance,

Please PLEASE always search the Wiki before asking!!!!!!!!!!! I've answered most questions in there!!!
In the AVRCP Bible ( http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...mote control (AVRCP) compatible media players ), I DID explain why Conduits PP behaves like this and how this can be fixed. Read it.
(Note that, with the latest, 3.5 version, all you need to do is downloading and copying the DLL file - it no longer needs to be manually enabled.)
Menneisyys, sorry. I have searched before asking but not find it. Thanks for sending the link.

Hello
I currently use WMP but it does't have a feature in the today screen like TF3D but I don't enable TF3D
Is there any music player to control via homescreen or a hack for wmp to control via today screen
Thanks again

Conduits Pocket player the best for me, include a plugin for today screen. dsp for wide stereo, xtra bass,10 bands graphic equalizer, lyrics(you must embedded in wmp), artwork(as many picks include in wmplayer you embedded, many audio and video formats(ogg, vorbis, mp4, etc.), full screen album art, album art browsing, podcast and internet radio directory, bluetooth control, network browsing, wm and winamp skins, finger scrolling, etc.
here some screnshots: http://www.conduits.com/products/player/screenshots.asp

Ps. I sucesfully can control it using my bluetooth headset and MicroSoft Voice Command even Cyberon Voice commander
I still use Media Player since I can control it using my bluetooth headset and MSVC.
I just bought bluetooth stereo headphones and was wondering how to disable completely windows media player? I use s2p for my main media player and when I select next track wmp startsin the background.

this is the second post I found about this, can anyone help us?
Hi!
I have a problem with the HTC Diamonds (Gen.Y ROM, TF3d2) bluetooth configuration. I use hands-free bluetooth audio in my car. To have that working I have to enable the hands-free and the audio gateway protocol for the car audio device.
Now, always when I start the car the bt audio is connected which is what I expect, but also the Win Mobile Media player is started and I always have to close it manually. This is annoying most when I have TomTom running and stop/start the car. TomTom is then hidden and the media player pops up.
Can anyone please tell me how I can disable the autostart of Media Player?
Thank you!!!
You could try this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3807872&postcount=114
The attached cab file contains an updated Bluetooth DLL without Media Player dependency.
Works fine on my Diamond with HTC WM6.1 ROM!
Great!! This is exactly what I was looking for!
THANKS VERY MUCH!!!
manolito-thanks for responce
When I watch video with bluetooth headphones, there is an audio delay from the bluetooth that puts the audio/video out of sync. On my old Palm Centro, TCPMP had a setting where you could adjust the audio offset, which came in handy for this.
Does anyone know of an Android video player app that has this feature? So far, I have not been able to find one.
