Ebay replacement LCD screens. - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hey guys. I've been browsing around other threads dealing with replacement LCD's for the Tilt and have seen some people saying that their ebay replacement screens weren't working on their Tilt. Just wondering if anyone can confirm that this replacement screen is the actual screen for the tilt or if anybody has purchased from this seller before and had success with his product.
Heres there link for the ebay auction.

Where do I part out a Tilt?

I have a tilt that has a cracked screen and housing, other than that it works fine. I just had it replaced by AT&T so now I would like to sell the old one. It was only 3 weeks old when it broke (dog bit down on it once) and everything but the housing and screen are mint.
My question is; where is the best place to sell the tilt for parts? I really don't want to go through the ebay hassle for $100.
Thanks for the info...
Jeff
I am interested in buying it, would you pm me pictures of it?

Cracked Screen

Im living in the Uk and managed to crack the screen on my kaiser. My insurance company will fix it/replace the phone but theres is a 50quid excess.
Iv searched the internet high & low for new LCD screens but aside from ebay iv struggled to find any. As for the ones on ebay they are all from hong kong & google has brought up a few horror stories from people who have used them.
Does anyone know where i could source a new lcd from, or any advice in general?
cheers guys
I cracked the screen on my kaiser a couple months back. I purchased an LCD off ebay (i may be able to find the seller and see if he has more). I received it within a week and fixed it myself. easy stuff. I wouldn't be too afraid.
so your insurance will charge you 50quid to replace it completely or 50quid on top of the price of the lcd?
cnn.cn has lcd's for $75.99 + shipping. I've had mixed results with them. Ordered about 3 things from them, all seperate orders, arrived on time and no complaints. But then ordered a 4th item (lcd for nokia n82) and the package arrived empty. I honestly think it got lost in customs cuz they tore the package open, but cnn.cn didnt reply to any of my emails so i just withdrew the payment with my bank.
£50 in total, inc shipping and parts. the £50 is just my insurance excess.
The phone is in very poor shape so imo id quite happily pay the £50 if they will send me a refurb phone!
poor shape how?
i sent my phone Tytn in or repa[ir on insurance with a cracked screen, they serviced it, cleaned it etc.
if you have insurance then use it! you won't be able to get a screen for less and then you'll have the hassle of fitting it.
whats the point in having insurance?
if your phone is in poor shape cosmetically and you are disappointed with that then look after your phone!!!
else report all faults in a one-er and get them fixed for one excess payment.

What would you do...?

So I go to order a new oem LCD and digitizer on ebay, found one, bought it and then I get a message from the guy after he ships it out to me saying, 'Hey, I just put your package in the mail, it was the L900 lcd digitizer assembly, right?' .....No, it wasn't it was suppose to have just been the LCD and digitizer, not with the housing still super adhesived on. I have a T889, which is why I was happy to have found that LCD and Digitizer combo for only $90. But the housings are not compatible with T889 and L900, so I would have to run the risk of damaging the LCD/Digitizer of the new one, just to switch it to my T889 housing.
What should I do? Should I mingle and see if someone has a screen they would like to trade? Should I mail it back to him and lose 35% in restocking fees? Should I turn around and sell it? I need my phone for my day to day life and my job. What would you guys do?

Did you use Paypal? If so just contact them about a FULL refund. There is no point in arguing with the guy if it is his fault. In my opinion I would contact the company you used to pay him especially if he is going to try and get a restocking fee out of you for his mistake, that is ridiculous.
Why would he confirm the screen after sending it out? Clearly, he has done this on purpose! Make a dispute claim with eBay and PayPal.

Replacement screen

Hello all,
My lg g2 of verizon vs980 model. The screen got damaged due to fall and i need to purchase new screen.
I did search on amazon and ebay and got multiple options.
Would like to know which screen is worth getting and known to work flawlessly.
Thanks.
Does this happen every fall? Because fall will come again next year. Are you sure you want to replace your screen every year?
Unfortunately, I just don't have the answer to your question, but eBay is where I'd probably go. Just stick to sellers with overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Sure. Thanks for idea.
Is it same screen across all models?
Did you ever find one? I bought the cheapest one off ebay awhile back (dumb I know) and the screen cracked within the first week or two and I didn't even drop the thing. Anyways I too would like a reference so I can get a reliable screen.
